Under chassis of the car should be washed before removing engine oil drain nut and oil filter to avoid drain bolt and oil filter thread damage caused by sand debris. But most of service centres are washing the car after finishing the service work.

Sir the mechanic said that we should avoid applying hand break soon after the rainy drive or passing after the water flooded area, so that we can avoid any jam in the disc and also said that alternatively we can apply the opposite side gear, while parking. Please advise on a condition where we park in a upward slope and applying the 1st gear instead of hand break, then how well the safety of the vehicle would be in place. My 2nd point is, if I park in a place where I am not sure about the slope area, how how should I apply the correct opposite gear to my slope. 3rd point is, if we by chance applied the hand break and it got jammed then advise in condition in a place where their is no near by mechanic and need to be recovered from the issue. Very neatly explained. Is it advisable to get service done in Car Manuf centre or outside.. Secondly every car has user manual and periodic service guide is detailed either km mileage or no of months..At some stage they do insist that the parts needs to be replaced after so many kms eg say spark plug.. All shd be replaced for better performance...but i found the mechanic.. saying plug is good need not...What is your opinion.. I feel as per manual what needs to be changed shd be changed whether its ok or not.. as every part has a life..and this sounds as good maintained vehicle.

Thanks for the video bro.. actually I also opted Gomechanic periodic service for my Datsun redigo but after service i noticed that brakes were not quite effective and as per company manual after 30km need to change fuel filter and spark plug since Datsun is not a popular brand and they couldn't arrange spares like fuel filter etc., moreover changing fuel filter bit tricky in Datsun ( need to remove rear passenger seat to replace fuel filter) Hence they convinced me that it is in a good condition no need to change. Furthermore, I asked them to change spark plug but they didn't replace it by telling same story like it's in a good condition..
Are they charging extra or only the amount mentioned in app ?

The rear drum brake works only for handbrake, it doesn't work when you apply the brake pedal, brake pedal is for only disc brake at the front wheel only, until and unless you have an all wheel disc brake

Nice....stumbled upon new tip...ie not to use handbrake in rainy season..I think this is applicable to the situation where car steers in half tyre filled water level....I guess Unless our brake comes to contact with water for while Needless to stick to this tip....Applying handbrake after driving on wet surface may noy hurt our brake shoe....Pls shed light on it..
