- His Excellency, Qatar Airways' CEO Mr. Akbar Al Baker Qatar revealed the First Class Cabin on the brandnew A-380. I was impressed by his warmness and patience in talking to "just a passenger" at the stand and his quick and sharp mind in the press conference. He must be aware of the position of each single Qatar flight 24/24. :)

That is fantastic! homer, at 6:58, you said "Emirates" stand, but I assume you meant Qatar, right?

Thanks homer. I hope to see you fly in the Qatar first class one day. I would like to try the middle eastern airlines one day. Unfortunately, much of my travel is mostly domestic until the summer. I have lots of stuff in the USA and not much international stuff until then. Lots of United Airlines domestic! I hope all is well.
The product looks sleek and homey yet very elegant. Many people would be disappointed that these seats are not fully closed off like a suite, for me I don't think that is a problem. From the pictures these seats in the airy A380 cabin truly shows how spacious and exclusive it is. Not that I dislike the Emirates first class, but for my taste , the over gold trimming are a bit too much, I like gold color but it can be used in a more sleek modern way like on Etihad's Diamond First Class. Haha Homer you are such a flirt.. But honestly I can't blame you.

Excellent my friend...I was expecting that Qatar South Sudanese flight attendant to be in the video you had your photo taken with ;) ...I want to fly on that all business class A319LR also the B787...maybe fly out of LHR on the A319 and return to EDI on the Dreamliner...maybe this time next year since this years trips are planned. I wonder what Alex will make of this first class seat? :D Obviously..I know how busy you are at the minute with work so thanks for posting this video so soon my friend.

Awesome videos as usual. If you ever make it to California (San Jose or Oakland), the beer is on me (even though I don't drink beer). ;) I said one time that I would no longer look at A-380 1st Class videos until I have itinerary for travel (in 1st) on an A-380, but we all know how promises can be made to kick to the side hehehehehe... Maybe soon if things continue to go my way. I intend to go the LAX-DXB-SYD and back route, unless maybe there is SFO-DXB-SYD A-380 Service. Expen$$ive it will be, but one only lives once, so why not?

And don't forget new TAM First Class. Living room concept. I am not sure if I like it. Seens to me quite similar to Swiss.

Well..completely different concepts. EK has the private suites, while QR has a more open concept..whre of course the dividers will give you privacy when needed

It's great to watch this video, Qatar bought a beautiful airplane, but when finally the delivery? I think there are already three finished. Airbus is not happy with this customers I think.

D00d you were right there! Was he excellent? Maybe he's really just pretty good, or less than one standard deviation from the norm? I take excellency to mean 3 standard deviations or better than he norm which would mean he's in the top 96th percentile. Which is really rare. I mean take me, Im probably lower 4th percentile, so you could call me his schmuck'nes. I sit Y on American domestic air carriers, and Im made to feel like the schmuck I am. .... Just having fun. I would argue that , Transaero may be or Etihad , but not Emirates .
No privacy. I am not impressed.
Not completely so in my view. You get a lot of privacy if you raise the side dividers. Many People like a bit more open concept and Qatar is in good Company with their Approach, like LH, AF, Swiss and other premium Airlines choose the same Approach.
