    My hopes are high on you having an episode with Jack and Kevin from Evergoods. Can easily go over 2 hours just talking about Kevin's design choices.

    What a great interview! Good questions from you and Bo and really cool to hear about the Bellroy mission and culture from the insiders.
    I was the one who asked for the classic pouch plus to return. Sounds like I'm S.O.L on that, but thanks for bringing it up! I'll continue to enjoy my regular classic pouch and desk caddy. Or maybe a plus will appear on the NN marketplace!

    This is the kind of content I use to expand my attention span. Awesome talk!...
    Oh, and this made me think when James spoke about the "general purpose" of the Venture line layout: what about adding the ambidextrous use as a principle to the backpacks design? I found the addition of an external water pocket a win (coming from a Venture 22L)... but this made me lose the zippered quick access pocket for on-body use (I used to keep keys and wallet and earbuds there so I didn't need to lay the bag on the floor to get them. Now... I just cant.)
    I guess that explains those bags with hybrid (zipper+expandable) water bottle pockets... so you can use them as both. Looking forward for the next iteration of the Venture line!

    nice I dig bellroy a lot but other than textiles I feel like they don't do enough new interesting things. No new updates to core bags like the transit line and whatnot. I guess they sell so many nicknacks and doodads that everything takes nine years to transform or evolve.

    • @Nomads.Nation
      @Nomads.Nation  2 месяца назад

      Interesting take - so you really want official V2 versions of bags? Cuz they do updates but they are usually more subtle and not announced, the bags just quietly evolve

    • @kavkazE
      @kavkazE 2 месяца назад +1

      @@Nomads.Nation yeah, not sure I buy that it takes so long to update their family of bags for the reasons they provided. I think they're just happy milking what's there. I know it's the "iPhone" iterative approach but I'm sure they have way more than enough feedback to create true V2s and then begin iterating from that point. iPhone X style!

    This was awesome!!! I really really hope you guys do some more of these with other makers. Aaron you should go knock on Able Carry’s door and get them on. And now that you started out with Bellroy, when trying to get other brands to say yes you can say hey Bellroy came on so you should too. lol and both of you should check out 1733, and DEFY too they are both out of chi town. Bo especially check out DEFY if you haven’t they ride motorcycles but are not like a full on moto brand. They make some amazing stuff.

    Awesome.
    I find bellroy shoulder and back system the most comfortable and they fit my back really well.
    For some reason big fluffy straps doesnt guarantee absolute comfort (as I experienced with able carry max, evergoods)

    • @strandrea
      @strandrea 2 месяца назад +1

      I agree, they are super comfortable. Sometimes I feel like I’m drowning in those bigger straps. Bellroy Transit plus is totally underrated and very comfortable.
