With the android cables make sure not to use a charger brick/adapter it can output too much electricity amd can ruin your controller
The phone charger applies 220 Volts while the ps4 charger applied 150 Volts. I just think it's not safe to charge your controller with a phone charger.
My PS4 charger cord and my micro USB cords are both 110 volt not 220...220 volt cord is for like my arc welder or a dryer a/c fridge

Idk why but I don’t use these hacks besides dimming the light and using a regular usb cable to charge my remotes but it’s good to be reminded about this. I love PS4 such a wonderful beautiful system man.

It's not a PS3, it's a Sony TV. They also use the XMB menu.

Don’t plug it into power adapters (blocks) or the wall because that can damage the controllers battery life. But yes you can use any micro usb cord as long as you plug it into the ps4 itself.

You didn’t mention another hack, if you want to turn your controller off, hold the PS button for about 30seconds
You could turn it off manually before those 30 seconds it literally takes like 10 secs

Also if you hold the PlayStation Button & The Share Botton it will start to flash off in on. Then you can pair controller when Bluetooth is on. Then you can play any game on your phone with the PS4 Controller.

I just use an external hard drive. It’s a hard drive you can just plug in with USB so you don’t have risk messing your PS4. For the people who didn’t know.
