OK NOW.. STAY SAFE AND KEEP IT MOVING!!! WOW GET HER DONE!!!
You doing great job bro. God bless you
Great video! These are exciting to watch 👍
Talk about the organization of your truck space. Where are you keeping everything? And what about a printer? Do you carry one? Send like the only time I need a printer anymore is for Manheim gate passes.
Good job Sir 🇬🇧🇺🇸👍
Going to do a live tomorrow at 3pm eastern let’s see how this baptism of fire goes 😳🇬🇧🇺🇸
Hell yeah I see you buddy!
Enjoyed the video!
Heck yeah I love the drive up to Effingham i take the back roads get off on 64 head up through Fairfield.
I used to run to Olney the back way from 64 through Grayville. Been to that Walmart DC soooo many times lol
I enjoy the road videos
First starting off should I try to book my loads day by day or try to book a full week? Any advice is good advice thanks
Somewhere in the middle would be a better option. Day by day generally turns into losing a day or piecing together partials. Sometimes it beneficial but most of the time you want to be about 2 or 3 loads ahead. A week in advance only works if you have dedicated freight with consistency. Generally way too much happens any given day en route or at a shipper or receiver to be able to reliably commit to freight that far in advance. I hope that made some sense.
Your videos are awesome. I like the vlogs. Wondering if the Ram has grown on you at all or just waiting patiently to get back into the Ford lol?
Absolutely cannot wait to be back in a Ford lol
Making all the money out there
Then I go home for 2 weeks 🤣 gotta stop doing that lol
@@LoadMizer sounding like jason (dream inspired)
I gotta talk to him at some point. One of the first hotshots I ever watched on RUclips.
@@LoadMizer mine too
Awesome video "LM"
Great stuff! One question, were you concerned at all having the limo at the very top front when headed to pick up the Buick? We've seen the videos out there of rollovers due to high-speed cornering with a high center of gravity, definitely would have been nervous having that Beast sitting that high up there LOL.
Nah man just gotta take it easy is all. When you haul anything high centered like that you’ll get a feel for how much you want to feel the truck lean when making a turn. Always much better to go into a turn too slow and adjust from there.
@@LoadMizer copy that. I came across the Gorge on I-40 East in North Carolina today, and a guy with a 3 car wedge past me in the left lane doing about 60 while navigating those sharp curves, but he had a wrecked Dodge Dually at the top front and that trailer was leaning big time! I thought he was going to lose it there for a minute. Thanks for sharing your travels
Some people just have to learn the hard way lol
Few lbs lighter over the scales now 😂
Nah I probably ate the difference last weekend 😂
I live in Mt.Vernon 👍
Also, are you using the new version of central dispatch or still old version?
What’s the best load board for car hauling ?
Central dispatch has the most vehicles available to move. You’ll find other boards from brokers within central. Hands down the best.
How do you strap a dually which tire do you recommend strapping?
The inside wheel lines up directly with the steer tire so that would probably be the “correct” way to strap it but honestly either tire works fine.
hey, good videos! Quick question... on a tandem axle single wheel trailer, non CDL set up... are mudflaps required for the trailer itself?
Yes you’ll need mudflaps on the trailer.
Finally 😂
Flatbed or wedge trailer ? I know both have there value. But im leaning towards Flatbed that way i can do both freight. And vehicles
THAT WAS TIGHT the timelapse.
What Load Board You Use?
I use central dispatch for the most part. A lot of companies within central have their own boards once you sign up with them.
What load board do you use ?
Central Dispatch
Hey whats up im from chicago and wanted to get into the car hauler bizz i wana start with a r car wedge and stay local is it possible to make good numbers staying local?
It’s possible but trying to corner a specific location like that will definitely need to have customers in your pocket ready to go. You’ll just be running in circles without any customers lined up to keep you busy and generally you’ll find those customers over time proving to them that you’re capable of meeting their needs.
When you had just the limo loaded, you weren't worried about being overweight on the drive axle, should you get checked? Or does the trailer distribute the weight rearward that well? I hope this ain't a dumb question!
Not a dumb question at all. I’ve found that most vehicles under a midsize SUV will scale out. The limo here is 30’ so the weight distribution of that is actually a lot less than having 2 small cars in the same space 👍
how do i get started
That’s my same question
I’m already looking at a truck. And calling for wedge trailers but they are 5 months back tracked. Plenty of time to start filing for My business and looking for insurance. But what else will I need that’s the question and any recommendations for boards. Save the newbies from the headaches ya probably went through. I’m researching also I’m not Being lazy but what I read sounds like ppl just trying to sell me. It’s always a catch with ppl online. Hope you can help thanks 🙏
If you’re going to haul cars, the biggest thing you’ll need is some money tucked away for operation while you start to generate revenue. Most factoring companies won’t deal with very many auto brokers. There are a lot of COD’s as well in this business. As far as boards go, central dispatch has the most vehicles of anybody else. I believe it’s around $115 per month. I use several boards but that’s the only one I pay for, the others were all found through brokerages I deal with on central. You’ll be given access to 1Dispatch, ship.cars, super dispatch, metro loads and others as you sign on with brokerages through central dispatch. Other things to consider would be a fuel card and equipment. A program like quick books will also make your back office organization a LOT easier.
2 loads a day 3 dollars a mile including my dead heads
three days to five days a week
7 hours a day for both drops
120 for fuel each day
Sounds perfect! 👍👍
Have you or do you use emodal?
No way. Be a cold day in hell before I mess with ports again. Just not worth the time and hassle
@@LoadMizer yup that’s what I figured 😂 people think an auction lot is a lost maze, I tell them HAVE YOU DONE A PORT P/U-D/O 😂
Ports are just awful lol. I’d raft her walk laps in an auction than deal with a port any day
I have watched a lot of your videos on how to do this and that. But I don't think you've done one on what kind of paperwork you do on a daily basis. I don't think they just give you the keys to the car and tell you to just take it over there and drop it off.
That’s a pretty good idea man, I’ll make that happen 👍
Ever dealt with the tow truck world ?
I haven’t but it’s always interested me.
I just took off 9 inches of my beard yesterday, because summer heat, dry skin, itch, etc. lol Beard oil makes the beard look great, but doesn't do a fucking thing for my skin lol
Is that limo a "two car rate"? 😂
I like the stuff. Just messy. I’ve always had facial hair issues. Stupid shit 😂
I made 2500 at 1400 lbs to go 120 miles
Good money 💰
