That song that keeps playing is badass
Just saw you on 70 going west, looking cool! Keep it up
I love your videos man, very educational. I deliver campers right now but looking to get into hauling cars. I'd love to pick your brain sometime! How much do you charge for a 1 on 1 consultation?
Another good one! I had the same thing happen to me Monday. Went to pickup a Chevy 1500 and they was like oh that was shipped last week. But the broker didn’t want to pay anything for me going an hour and half up there. 🙄 Oh well be safe buddy!
Same happened next day too. Went to pick up a jeep at auction and it was signed out before thanksgiving 🤷♂️
Heck Yeah it’s a wonder I didn’t see you yesterday I pick up at lux motors almost every day they always have cars to move. Also great Editing I like the laid back vlog style video.
Haha thanks man. So since you know Evansville you saw how screwed up I had to route myself because of that truck I was getting. Airport, Wolfe auction, lux then off to Indy. 😂
@@LoadMizer Oh yeah definitely put you behind by a few hours at least evansville is small and you were able to rebound and make ur drops.
Big thumbs up that your ok..how long is your truck and trailer? And what is Preferred short bed truck or long 🛌 bed 🚚 truck.and and merry Christmas to you and your family.
Do I need CDL to make the samething in my truck?
Great Videos brother.. i have a quick question. i just retired from the US NAVY and i live here in jacksonville florida im getting my authority in the next month, i have done my research and here in jacksonville there is a lot of Auto actions plus the ports are here as well do you think gonna have a good chance to start my business. also there is a lot car dealers around here as well.
I know i may have missed your past video about my question I have, how come i dont see videos about how the process of booking a load ?
I am just as interested of the process/operation to getting a load, figuring cost of operation and pricing myself for short haul to long haul all I typically hear is made this amount, this car go here and that car going there...knowing that seems to be pointless. Dont get me wrong i appreciate you and like your cool attitude. I personally would appreciate help understanding an efficient way to operate and learning process.
I am a single car hauler(#7700 max limit) winched paid in full, Toyota Tundra paid in full.(10,600) max tow limit
Things go well with learning.. I will scale up asap
Hey brother good videos. I’m prior military and DOD logistics specialist. When I retired I started with a Dodge. Dually 3500 and a Take Three 3/4 Car hauler. I got into a bad accident a few years ago 2017 working part time for a tow company their truck had a faulty rear main oil leak so I hydroplaned. Anyways I’m redoing my equipment and was thinking of a Kaufman 4/5 Trailer with pulling with a Freightliner M2 single axle. I’m a CDL holder. Besides Central Dispatch amy other load board you can recommend. Just asking IIts been 5 years and I don’t know if the Car Hauling business and protocol has evolved.
Hows the Buffalo NY area for car hauling? I'm trying to make the switch to cars but I can't access any load boards to check my area. Also I have a f150 and a 1 car just to start think thatd work to start??
Great stuff... Just wondering are you still using the gooseneck set up with that trailer? How has it been for you? Would like to know your opinion, does it feel safe or should I go with a 5th wheel set up?
If you have the capability I’d go with a 5th wheel. There are a few companies that require it and they pay really good too. Plus it’s a LOT more stable than a gooseneck ball.
Load mixer just have a quick question. I will have my authority in a few days. I’ve bought a 35+5 pj and I’ve been watching your videos and considering getting a wedge. I live in dyersburg tn just curious about how good hauling cars around this area would be. I used to own a small car lot so pretty familiar with the cars anyways. Thanks in advance.
I see quite a few cars over that way. You’ve got Memphis and Jackson to work with but also sikeston poplar bluff and cape. Every once in a while I’ll see some coming out of dyersburg and union city but your most likely going to be dealing with those areas to get in and out of the house 👍
Hey I know your from Kentucky. Hope all is good on your end with the tornado.
The tornado missed us but we still don’t have any utilities. No sign of them being back up soon either.
Load Mizer I’m looking into getting into Hotshot by the end of next year. I saw one of your videos on invoices……….when using invoices to transport cars do you have to wait for payment or are you able to use a fraction company to get paid sooner for those loads? Enjoy your concert!!
You could use a factoring company with some of the bigger brokerages but for some reason most factoring companies just don’t deal with auto brokers. There are options though. Quite a bit of cars are paid by company check or cash on delivery. The guys that make you wait 10-30 days or so generally have a quick pay option that ranges between 2-5% and you can generally get paid between 1-3 days from those. All in all after about a month or so you’ll have steady revenue hitting the bank. It’s a lot more paperwork to keep up with though. 👍
@@LoadMizer thank you so much for your time and your reply. Keep on trucking and once again thank you for sharing your experience with us. Maybe one day you’ll be able to subscribe to my RUclips channel, I’ll definitely shout you out!
I notice you have the expanded metal on your wedge. Do you have issues with welds breaking using the over the wheel straps vs using lasso straps? I just started hauling cars and I use the lassos
I haven’t had any issues but I’ve never really over tightened these either. That’s where you get the bends and popped tack welds. You don’t have to go wild on these ratchets for the strap to get tight enough to hold a vehicle in place.
Dang Man U kind close by to me. I live down in Lawrenceburg Tn. I’m looking to getting into maybe some car hauling
Hope you're all good with the tornadoes
Barely missed us. All utilities are out though in all counties around me.
@@LoadMizer god bless y'all
Hey bro, are you ok? I was in Memphis when the tornadoes hit. But I remembered you are from Kentucky. Just checking you you and the family.
Yeah man the areas around me got crushed. We still don’t have utilities. The tornado missed us by 8 miles. When I have internet and power again I’m going to upload some videos I took of the area. It’s unreal.
@@LoadMizer good to hear you and yours are ok. 🙏
Best state to run
Hi I have a 2001 Ford F-250 7.3 powerstroke. I just got my llc but after a little more research I’m concerned that my truck might not be able to haul a 3 car hauler. My concern is my gawr rating as it is at 6084 lbs. Is it possible at all for me to do a 3 car hauler? Or would I have to convert it into a dually? Thanks a lot man I’m really trying to get all of my specifications correct before I apply for my Mc number and get insurance and your channel has been helping me a lot
I’m glad the videos are helping out! You won’t be able to haul a 3 car setup with a 3/4 ton though. Sometimes I have to be really careful how and what I load in the first position over the bed of the truck in a 1 ton. Some days even a 1 ton isn’t enough to haul a 3 car setup maxed out.
This is with a lasso over the tire? Do you strap straight down or slightly forward or back? Can’t nudge the feeling of over the tire allow front to back movement.. any input?
Because of the flippers I have to lasso the front wheels on the front car. The rears have regular 3 point straps. I strap my lassos at the opposite angle of the rear 3 point straps 👍 didn’t budge at all
Is there any way to call ahead of time to make sure the vehicle is actually before you waste fuel and time?
Always a contact number, I’d also highly recommend calling both sides every time just to avoid that exact situation.
Haha a miss is still good as a mile, what do you think the most ideal dead you every had to encounter?
Did you ever release the template for the BOL???
My buddy is still working on getting the website setup for that.
Hey buddy are you using central dispatch to find cars more than other load boards?
Yes the majority is definitely central
@@LoadMizer I have been pulling off of METRO, but need to start running off of Central because the $$$ is better per car
They usually have pretty good prices on cars but they gotta sit there a while before they start cranking it up
I noticed that sometimes you pull cars onto the trailer, but other times you back them on. Does it matter? Or is there a particular reason?
Generally if I back a car on it’s for 1 of 2 reasons. 1 is to keep weight off of my truck axle by putting the engine of a vehicle (the heaviest end) towards the middle of the trailer. 2 is to free up deck space for longer vehicles. Generally the distance from the rear tire to the back bumper is farther than the front tire to the front bumper. If I back a car on I can have more of it hanging off the front of the trailer this giving me more room for vehicles 👍
@@LoadMizer thanks for sharing buddy
A day in the life😉
Where at in Mississippi did you deliver?

Dude you got get some carpet off side road or buy peace fold it so that it it’s soft part inbeteween 2 cars then it eont matter if they bump there protect d

Ghosts of the rail - Gabriel Lewis
Always very informative videos. I got a quick question if you can answer i'd appreciate it. I have been using my F250 and Kaufman two car trailer for 2.5 years. Just bought a F350 dually 2023. I have to wait a month for a trailer like your 3/4 car 50 ft wedge to be built after a deposit. My question is did you have to go and add towing capacity to your truck registration, and did you get an apportioned plate? Trying to figure this out before i commit to 3 car wedge, also having to get IFTA. What do you suggest? I have a CDL but havent used it since i was towing a 2 car.
Yes you’ll need an apportioned plate to use the full potential of your setup as far as weight goes. You’ll register the truck for the overall weight capacity of the combination through the state. IRP and IFTA pretty much go hand in hand when getting your apportioned plate, you can’t have one without the other. IRP will be your new registration and that’s where you’ll get your cab card showing all your weight registrations for each state/province.
Hello I was told you may know someone that can transport my Tahoe from Little Rock to Hendersonville Tn for a reasonable price. I did uShip for the first leg but they sucked and over charged.
Is that 50ft car trailer legal with that truck having a box? Wanting to order a similar trailer but cant find a direct answer.
It’s way close and doesn’t allow me to have any overhang. Definitely go with a chassis if you’re going to haul cars 👍
@@LoadMizer Thank you sir. Your videos are super helpful and I appreciate your knowledge in your videos.
When an what part Mississippi you comin to
Long gone. I was in Starkville, Brandon and jackson Thursday.
Good job Ricky.Called you the other day but no answer.Call me when you able too 🇬🇧🇺🇸👍
Is this profitable in any state? I'm in south Florida thinking of getting into this business.
I've never seen more than $500 for a vehicle. Other than a Humvee I hauled for the military paying $1,300. Not a fan of hauling vehicles.
Really depends on the region and the distance it’s going. It usually doesn’t start paying well to haul cars until you can get 3 together or more. From where I’m at if I want to go the distance I see plenty of cars paying 1k+ to go 700-900 miles, especially to Texas
@@LoadMizer I kinda figured that too. I can only put two vehicles on my gooseneck at a time and sometimes I take vehicles just to get me in a better spot for the better loads. Like your channel brother stay safe and in between the lines out there.
$1 for every time you said Camry? 🤪
I don’t even understand why I said it so many times 🤣
@@LoadMizer doesn’t matter, pay up 🤪
