      It’s a great feeling when one achieves something that they couldn’t at an earlier time. Sweet proof of the fruit of our labor.

    Also, I am not sure how you edit the video to compact the guitar neck, but keep it up!
    Very rare to see both the strumming and fretting close up at the same time!

    I just found your channel and love it!! I’m impressed by your singing on this and on the Cover me Up video. Your voice is very well suited for those songs. I saw your Kieth Whitley -Don’t Close Your Eyes video and wondered, if you were going to try and sing a Keith Whitley song like that or I’m Over You, how would you go about changing the key to suit your voice? Would you just play it the same and move the capo up until is sounds right? This may be a stupid question. I think my voice may be similar to yours and I just never thought about singing.

    • @LearnGuitarFavorites
      @LearnGuitarFavorites  2 года назад +2

      Glad you enjoy some of the videos Tory, Thanks! I normally need to go to lower keys for my voice and The easiest way would be to move the capo or remove it. If there is no capo then I have to figure out the different chords to use for a lower key. Hope that helps!

    Do you have any tips to help me get better at strumming patterns right now I’m having trouble getting used to strumming d d d u d u please help!

    • @mcharles559
      @mcharles559 3 года назад +2

      Hey Demetri morales try Hitting the 4th string and then strum across first 4 strings then hit the 5th string and again strum across first 4 strings it can give you a bass like rhythm sound after you get it down you can work on your up strokes good luck hopefully this was helpful A little bit

    • @LearnGuitarFavorites
      @LearnGuitarFavorites  3 года назад +1

      Just practice the patterns slowly and continue increasing them a bit as you get more comfortable. As you practice over time things will get easier.👍🎸

    • @karinadaisyjane1020
      @karinadaisyjane1020 Год назад +7

      You can slow down the play back speed.

    • @Rosicrucian69
      @Rosicrucian69 4 месяца назад +4

      He’s not going too fast at all. He literally slows it down and shows you chord by chord with TABs. You could learn from listening to this video without even watching it. He explained the dynamics of the hammer ons very well.
      Maybe you need to learn the basics of guitar before learning this song. I can understand struggling if you don’t even know what a string or fret is. But he’s explaining very well. It’s a simple 4 chord progression with a couple embellishments and hammer ons.
