Robbie isn’t bad but he jumps ahead and leaves us all behind wonder how this all works together if he would brake it down and take it a little slower it would have made it way easier
It’s RUclips… just pause it. He is the most detailed guitar lesson guy and the only person online I can learn from. This is 1 of the harder songs and maybe you’re just not there yet?
It's true though I have to co sign for this comment. It's not that he's a bad teacher. It's just if only he took that one extra slowed down step to catch us slow heads up he would be like the LeBron James of musical acoustic tutorial
Robbie thanks. I've been playing that main riff In a completely different way but yours sounds so much better. I got caught up learning from a different teacher and I've been playing It all using the single strings throughout the entire song and have never got It to sound right but thanks to you I will get past the way I learned It and be able to play through the entire song the right way Thanks again. You're a great teacher
I’ve been learning this song for a long time now and this video was such a surprise to me lol. I’m glad one of my favorite teachers made a tutorial on this song.
@@tytykaratekid3135 I’m learning it for me and my girlfriends one year we were listening to it in the car and I told her it reminded me of her that was enough to bring her to tears so I know if I learned it for her it would mean a lot
This is literally one of my favorite songs and thought it was going to be super hard to play I’m not sure why it never recommended this video ive been subscribed for a good long while.
Man thank you so much been playing for 30 years here and there I go looking for something to learn and some people just can’t teach but you my dude are the shit! Thanks..
The first part was taught well but then the guy guy took off. Next time please take each chuck piece by piece and then work them all together. Even rewinding doesn’t help
Yeah I'm having issues after the first c chord. I understand what he's showing me but when he plays it fast it doesn't sound or look like what he showed me.
Robbie there’s one part in the intro where you say you’re going to show us slowly and it sounds like you’re hitting the 3rd and 4th string twice but showed us that we’d only do it once. It’s at 2:20 in the video. Am I just hearing something that’s not actually there or was there a slight mistake in the first part of the instruction on the intro? Love the video, just trying to get this right. Keep up the great work my friend!
I'm not sure if that was a mistake or what. If I understand where you mean, I am hitting them twice. Sorry for the confusion there. Sometimes I say one thing and do something else or play things differently each time.
@@LearnGuitarFavorites ah ok, I just kept trying to play it the way explained but heard it differently. I know it’s got to be difficult when trying to slow it down. Thanks for the help.
What you call a bm chord is actually just a G chord without the 3rd fret on the low E. You could call this a G Major 1st inversion(notated as G6 sometimes) or just notate it as G/B(meaning G but with the lowest note being a b instead of G). For it to be a Bm triad the g note from the open g string would be an F#.
Man im so happy i found you. I had tried to learn this song before but some tutorial had me trying to do this crazy different. No familiar cord shapes whatsoever.. This definitly looks more like it. I'm going to bed but im gonna return and iron this one out tomorrow. I can see that i know i can do it.
Thank you, for this and thanks for how you do your lessons I love how you break it down and then actually sing all the songs while playing them . I believe you are the only RUclipsr that does this and why your my favorite guitar tuber
thanks again cool Robby....I'm learning at a rapid rate...thanks to you....I'M becoming a legend in my own mind!!! SOON I'm gonna have to ask myself for an autograph....before I have to over charge myself. lol
A lot of times, playing the song slowly helps with that. If you can slow down your playing and really practice getting your strumming correct that will help you smooth it out. Be patient, practice and it will come.
Hey man! I realize my last few requests weren't quite country... other than GOOD CORN LIQUOR!!! Which you had already had one for that. And ive learned it and I love you man. But you do country. Bluegrass is country right? What about.. the crawdad song? Doc watson? I also realize your stuff is all beginner/ intermediate but man if there's an easy ish way to play that I'd never stop...
It’s a good tutorial but he goes pretty fast. Something that worked for me because I knew the main notes to the song better was to learn on the main notes first and get good at those before moving into the extra picking. Less frustrating that way
I dont need to watch the whole video for him to be helpful, just at the start when he plays it is all i watch. I pat attention to his fingers and cords and then i got it
Great video, a little fast at times, but I just paused and rewind each party until I got it. Even tho, I mostly know all of this… I’ll be working on this one for a while!!
Hey i wanna offer up some songs i want to learn. Weather you do em or not just some ideas.. Throw another cap in the fire, sam doores. Leaving Louisiana in the broad daylight, shovels and rope. Sorry your sick, ted Hawkins. The crawdad song, doc watson. Oo-De-lally, roger Miller. Good corn liquor, the steeldrivers. Strawberries, caamp. Election day, blaze foley. Or anything blaze foley. Man i could go on forever. I don't expect you to do any of these but thought i could try lol. You got plenty i like already to keep me busy. Your a good instructor i apreciate it.
Great song and you have made it so easy to learn ....is there any way you could help me learn "Best thing in my life" by Bryan James I really want to play it for my fiance at our wedding.
Hey man I’ve been trying to learn this song, but I can’t figure out how you are playing G and B strings in F chord and then D and G in C chord. It’s definitely not the rhythm you showed in the video, it looks like you are playing (let’s take F for example), it looks more like you are playing G and B together and then B again and so on, but that also doesn’t sound good. Can you tell me please how you are doing it.
Sorry, but I can’t really keep up sometimes. I would recommend to slow down just a little bit. But you are doing great other from that and it sounds good.
Having so much trouble getting my picking tempo to work right in the intro. I'm hitting all the right strings and noted but I can't get it to sound right. So frustrating
Thanks!
Thanks so much Brad! I appreciate you🙏
