- This is a quick video of how I cut Stainless steel sheet metal using a angle grinder and a sawzall. The quickest method is a grinder with cut off disc, But it is incredibly dirty and dangerous compared to a reciprocating saw. Using a sawzall the job can get done but it takes a few tricks to plunge cut.

Enjoyed how simple and PRACTICAL you make it. Thank you!
Number 1, Stud. Who cares about tools when you have talent. Make it happen.... lol, great vid. keep it up
Quality work with regular tools!🤓
Oh yeah, I can definitely see myself losing control of that Sawzall, lol. You have better skills though! Thanks for the tip with the fiberglass. I guess I never really thought of that with all the times I have used them..
Awesome thanks very helpful!
I've had 5 cutting disc explode, im done with the angle grinder solution using thin cutting wheels.
Never had a disc explode - either you're buying cheap ebay wheels or you aren't handling the wheels right. Do not over-tighten them (try to seat the nut on the metal ring only if possible, spin the wheel slowly to make sure it's balanced and lastly present the cutting disc to the work piece slowly and at a steady pace. Quick jarring motions, angling the disc when a slot of already established, or any number of other operator errors can cause the discs to fail. Treated right it's an amazing tool.
What gauge stainless is that? Never thought of operating reciprocating saw upside down. I want to try this but hope my recip saw does not take off out of my hands
thank you
I always use my spark guard
Ty for video
"wear your safety equipment"
...and the guard is missing from the angle grinder. Besides the chance of the blade catching and cutting you, the cutting disks like to break, especially if you try to cut anything but straight.
cutting annealed metal is much easier considered cutting hardened metal without ruining the heat treatment takes a lot of time and care
***** I dont see anyone having use for hardened plate to make into things. they take so much effort to work with, grinding is also a pain in the ass
Not safe
Safety first
no safety, dirty work what a heck?
Why not just use an axe?
Why would you say you going to show cutting with sawzall and grinder when you are giving reasons not to cut with grinder and end video without using grinder
The video l just watched showed an effective cut made with both
Long and only talking
I get so tired of watching how to videos made by people who so obviously don't know what they're doing. This guy cannot be a professional metal fabricator using those tools. There's nothing wrong with DIY projects but people turn to these videos for good solid advice on how to complete their project you're doing a large disservice the people by making these videos
What happen with the grinder? You did not use. Not sure if you know what your talking about.
I disagree. It depends on the project. Get over yourself thinking the world revolves around you. How did you pay for the video? Exactly! 😎
Trash. No good, alright for last resort.
