So this will work even with 440A Stainless Steel, hardened Sheet ? Rockwell Hardness C55+ ? Awesome video, very nice. I think I'll use a 4 1/2" x 0.045" cutoff wheel made with a combination of two abrasives (ceramic aluminum oxide and zirconia aluminum).
I have to cut my chimney as well. It's 304 stainless steel. Do you think I can cut it with my Dremel tool using wheel #426? Never cut metal in a straight line so I'm not sure if this can be done with the Dremel. I can also purchase wheel #506CU if that's going to make a difference. I need the chimney to be no more than 10.5".
good video, informative. Just be careful next time because you measured 12 inches of the visible side, but I believe you wanted to shorten the chimney 12 inches.
Thank you Mark for this video! I was able to do it myself and saved a lot of time and money!!!
A quick one for next time, for better safety put the guard back on the grinder. Don't want to have a disc shatter on you with that setup.
Great video :-)
Great video, thanks!
many thanks :-)
