The blade is not rated for high speed of the grinder may fly apart
Please, even with this guard, use carbide multi wheel disk. The problem with those wood blade is when it got caught in the wood and everything goes boom! Angle grinder speed is too fast, you wouldn't have time to react when things goes wrong. stay safe brothers.

Also the small ring adapter used to fit the blade onto the grinder's mandrel gets misplaced during tough operations and the blade begins working out of shape. This is the reason blade gets caught in the wood and causes a disaster.
And change the rotation, turning the machine to the other side. The rotation must allow the cut to be made from the bottom to the top of the piece, preventing the blade from advancing over the piece.
My grinder has variable speed how much rpm do you think is safer for wood cutting disk ??
It will depend on the size of the disk. The Bosch CARBIDE MULTI WHEEL discs already indicate the recommended speed. Although these discs do not burn the wood, I do not recommend a very high speed. Up to 8000 RPM for 125 discs for example.

I had a lot of old pipes and rebar to cut up and from what I read ruclips.net/user/postUgkxPDBfLu68o58Aw85O_J-zIFfjJARBhp-3 this would be the tool for the job. Since I had never used one, I watched a couple of youtube videos and I'm so glad I did. Some really good safety tips, which I followed, and this tool did a splendid job. One good thing to know is the weight of the tool puts just about the right amount of pressure on the metal I was cutting, so I didn't have to use a lot of pressure, which is more likely to jam the tool. It made fast work of my job.

That angle grinder and wood won’t be safe no matter what type of jig you will come up with. Wood blades needs slower disc speed. Probably you’ve realized it when you try to cut. Try to use it with variable speed grinders with a slow speed

This is crazy and unsafe in everyway. That blade at higher speed is just an ingredient for a fucked up trip to the doctor.

Don’t see you sawing with it. You’d have to pull it backwards so it isn’t climb cutting. Without a retractable blade guard like a real saw it’s dangerous

Or maybe if you can reduce the speed maybe it would be safer. Grinders is above 8k rpm. Woodsaw is in the below 3k rpm only. Just my comparison.

Dangerous and does not comply with the safety regulations of any developed Country. No insurance company would pay out if you modify a tested product yourself then have an accident. This is why we have British Standards & European standards with machinery. People who modify power tools are putting themselves and others at risk.

For safety and efficiency NEVER use the ring adapter! Instead, drill the sawblade using a stepdrill bit up to 22.2cm and place it directly on the angle grinder's standard mandrel.
Oh man don't ever try this please guys i strongly do not recommend this. You will get in to a biggest hazard. No offence i ask from the chanel owner to kindly please do not ever add unsafe videos.some people don't even cosider there safety and they try.
I agree 💯% bcs if a safety officer get to him for a inspection,he will loose all his tools, I love to work with my tools, not the hospital

You mashed the shit out of that piece of wood at the end and tried to hide it lmao i saw that massive f up at the end nice try though sadly grinders will never be able to cut with a wood saw blade but you do get specialised wood cutting disks for the grinder.
