I don't know why somebody would put in a comment like that, you are very nice. Different people like to watch different kinds of videos, these happen to be ones that I happen to like among others. My youtube show is about preserving history, especially obscure aspects of history, I am sure that some find it boring, but others like it because it is unique and that is what I want it to be, if somebody doesn't like it, don't watch it. I am not trying to promote my show, my point is is that you have a nice show that a lot of people find interesting and a pleasant personality that attracts more viewers. It is not necessary for somebody to make a comment like that one, if they don't like the show, they don't have to watch it and the same goes with anyone else's show. I for one, really like your shows and always look forward to new ones.

People feel compelled to tell you the thoughts that flit through their mind, because they think the world revolves around. I honestly feel bad for people like that. Imagine going through your whole life being constantly disappointed and mad that people don't realize that the world revolves around them. Every time a creator releases a video, it is a gift to the audience. Even if I find someone's content isn't my thing, I always click "like" (unless it is objectionable), because they gave the gift of their creativity and energy to me for that 10 minutes or so. Unless you are paying for content, no-one owes you anything on this platform. You are a such a light in a sometimes, crappy world.

Yes! I couldn’t have said it better myself! I always click on the like button unless, as you said, it’s something I feel is offensive. But even when I don’t agree with the content, I just click off of it and move on to something else. No need to post hateful, snide or offensive comments. I don’t even click on the dislike button. I just move on. Bonnie is one of my favorite YT creators. I love her style and her beautiful personality. 🥰

I started sewing on my grandma's machine which I believe is from the 1950s. It worked really well for me for a lot of years, but it finally started having a lot of problems and I even took it in for a tune-up, but it still kept missing stitches and weird things like that, so I gave in and bought a new machine. I really should probably just have it looked at again and try to get it fixed because it was a great machine!

I'm glad to see you back, Sue! I don't blame you for not wanting to watch the hoarder home I was working on. That whole experience really tested me and I now will be setting some very clear boundaries with future homeowners because of it. Anyway, glad to see you back here. As for Mira and her wearing masks, it's really just a matter of staying semi-anonymous. She isn't quite ready to let the world see "all" of her yet. I'm hoping that she will soon be comfortable taking off the mask, but she already feels vulnerable showing her mess to the world and even uses an alias...Mira is not her real name. I think she's gotten enough support that she will soon be ready to unmask for the world.

Idk why people feel the need to go to the effort to make negative comments. So silly!
    Just keep doing you!
I have personally loved most of your videos and have enjoyed seeing you filming and editing skills grow! And if there has been one or two I didn’t find as appealing, you know what I did??? I just didn’t watch them AND didn’t feel the need to leave a nasty comment! lol! I do this with pretty much every RUclips channel I watch. Not everything is going to appeal to everyone at all times! And that’s okay!
I’m really enjoying the series with Mira - from both your side and hers.
I think it’s interesting to see the contrast between what a ‘professional’ (and one that is energetic and healthy!) is able to do in a space versus what Mira is able to accomplish - being someone who is still recovering from a serious illness AND being emotionally attached to all of the items she is sorting through.
AND your series lead me to Mira. She is doing amazing things on her own but your help has probably not only provided her with extra motivation, but also helped her in areas of her home that would have been physically very difficult to tackle! Kudos to you both! I will definitely continue watching!
As for masks…I’m an RN. I KNOW the cloth masks are more comfortable, and are probably fine for small groups (like when you are helping her in her home). But for larger gatherings and public spaces, I really encourage using surgical masks if at all possible. And n95 masks for any high risk situations. The surgical and n95 materials are just better for filtering out tiny flu, covid, rsv, etc. virus particles. (Okay, off my soapbox!)
Thank you for all you do to help people that need assistance! It may not always seem like it, but this is truly life changing for people that need it!

    • @ABeautifulMessExtremeCle-zl1wp
      @ABeautifulMessExtremeCle-zl1wp  2 месяца назад

Yeah, people are funny like that. I don't even get offended anymore. I mostly just feel sad for them that they would even feel the need to say something like that.
This has definitely been my favorite series to do because I love that Mira has come to this place of being able to let go of things on her own, which makes it so much easier to allow me to do what I do best and just let me go, go, go. I'm glad you found Mira as it sounds like you could benefit from hearing her thought process as she goes through her decluttering while you are facing similar things right now.
And I had to laugh about the mask thing because I know these do almost nothing to protect against spreading illness.😁 That's not the reason that she wears them. It's simply to cover part of her face because she still wants to stay somewhat anonymous. I hope someday she will take off the masks and feel comfortable without them. However, I do have to toot my own horn for a second because the masks that I made in the beginning of the pandemic were pretty legit and far better than all the cloth ones that people were making and selling because I had access to the blue material that surgeons use to wrap their surgical instruments in before they put them in the autoclave since I was a transcriptionist for some neurosurgeons at the time. So, I was able to use that material in addition to the cotton fabric to create a better filtering mask and even sewed a piece of wire for the nose so that it would seal a little better. The doctors I worked for, both at the neurosurgery clinic and at the pain clinic, ordered a whole bunch of them for their staff since supplies were so low and everyone needed some good masks. Me and about 10 other people made around 3,000 masks to donate to whoever needed them, but most of them went to nursing homes. So, while many people were feeling super depressed about the whole pandemic, I was thriving because I'm such an introvert so staying home didn't bother me and then I found a way to help the community, which made me feel good. Good times!😊

What a beautiful room she is able to use right now again. Thank you for your support 😊💖👍. You're a real good friend 😍 to Mira and every time one of you is talking about the other I feel 💖 love.

I have been following your channel quietly for a few months & you are just an amazing human being AND BONUS you sew 😍😍💕Back in Oct I started helping my folks who's home was in bad shape & you are one of the ones who keep me going. I only have 6 hours once a week to help them but I'm getting things repaired and cleaned & decluttered WHEW ! It's been so nice hearing the stories you tell and reminders mental health and physical health play a roll in it . I don't judge but I do have to remind some of my loved ones they don't need shame , they need help. You are a wonderful asset to the youtube community . Side note: Creators have those block tools for a reason 👍😉 , keep doing you ! #kindnessmatters Have a great weekend!

Awesome! It's one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. When I was introduced to it, I was immediately all in and it kind of took over my life... and my house! 😅Every room was covered in Fabric or Days for Girls kits and I was constantly going to events. I eventually had to turn my stuff over to another local team because it was also trying to run my transcription business which was growing and I no longer had time to run a team, but just wanted to help when I could rather than being in charge. It's an amazing organization and they have changed so many lives with the kits. I miss those days sometimes!🥹

She must be so happy but mostly relieved to have a space she can work in and enjoy her process of scrapbooking but also finding her things… I’m in awe of you! When sorting. Maybe think of the rainbow.. gold and brown are different. Or think of something like Christmas.. you might use gold then but the brown wouldn’t work as gold… but as least it’s sorted…that’s what counts in the end and everything will have a place… thank you for helping her… you are such an awesome person…

That looked like so much fun to sort through! (Weirdo alert LOL) Although YES to the inevitable confusion about color gradients! For me, gold would be its own category from brown, same with silver and gray. Multicolors, though, that's a wild west category and everyone's on their own for that 😂 Very cool to have been able to see the evolution of Mira's scrapbooking skills too! Great idea to reuse those Felicity Jane boxes.

My machine now behaves all the time. Before I retired I always sewed stuff for the holiday for my preschool classes. People don’t realize how much school females miss when they don’t have their necessary supplies so thank you for doing that.😘And thank you for this video!

You did a great job! I'm a scrapbooker and I go through the same color struggles which is why I don't organize mine by color. I group my papers by how I would use them together to make scrapbook pages. It's just what makes sense to me. I put a simple plain sheet of copy paper between each group - not even sticking up. Almost everyone sorts by colors but I just can't so I totally get it! LOL! You are NEVER boring, by the way!
