My oldest son is in one of my early videos helping to clean carpets in a house. Then I have two videos where I'm working with my daughter. Those bugs are found all over the world! I googled them one time and there are so many versions of them and so many names for them! In New Zealand they are called “slaters” like Christian Slater 😝 I have no idea why. Maybe their shell looks like slates? They love decomposing wood and organic stuff. Also you talk the exact right amount IMO. That’s why I watch/listen to your videos!

Filters are easy lightly tap on a hard surface like a pole and use compressed air or a leaf blower. Leaf blower usually takes 2 people, air compressor only needs 1 person. Added bonus the deep narrow pockets in the filter really get cleaned out. I've been cleaning my own drywall, concrete, wood etc. messes for years from oscillating multi tools and rotary hammers to general site clean up.
Rolly Poly bugs, my Dad used to call them Gob Sows. I like his name for them better! So nice to have your son for a helper, and Belated Happy Birthday to him. Wow, wish you lived close to me. I don't have anything close to that bad, and I have a lawn guy for the yard. You all did so much work and what a transformation!! Well done!! So glad you didn't fall when you tripped! I'm from NC and we called them pill bugs. They eat decaying material so the leaves were a heavenly spot for them.
