That neighbor was nosy because not many people have seen a great big lawn machine like that, that can take all the high weeds and grass like that. I’m surprised more people weren’t out there to watch you and that machine! lol.. And thank you for not calling her “A nosy Karen”. Too many RUclipsrs with their own RUclips channels use that name, Karen, for a degrading insult when it’s a name. You were very polite. 😁
I mow my neighbours yard every time I do my own. She’s a single mom who works long hours. It’s a blessing the relationship we have. She’s 20 years younger and working so hard to have a good life. A little extra help is a little extra sleep for her. Kindness
I have to say, that's the most anti-neighbor behavior I've ever heard. First off, NOBODY has any right to tell someone else what to do on their property. None, period. Unless they worked for Code Enforcement, that's another story, but having no authority over their land, so they're in absolutely no right. Second, if people really were neighbors, hearing what those people went through, they would've at least lent a hand. Thank goodness for guys like you, Erik.
Hmm, really! I live on a 10-acre rual farm for 26yrs. I've had 2 major medical events that has left me not being able to mow my farm. That I was able to keep in pristine shape. The 2 close neighbors have lived there for just under 10 yrs. Neither one has offered to help. The neighbor on my right called codes. Causing me all kinds of stress. So living in a rual has nothing to do with having good neighbors.
I also grew up rural and can attest to that sense of community. Now a days people just are not willing or perhaps able to help. We are currently living rural again and I can say we would help each other out when needed.

I have the best neighbors ever. I’ve always mowed my own yard, but when I turned 73, my sweet neighbor said he will mow my grass. All I have to do is weed wack around the hydrant and curbs. That is as two years ago and he still mows for me. Sooo nice.
My neighbor (another widow) was 20 yrs older than I and I did my best to take care of the things she needed including laundry in the garage when she could no longer take the stairs between house and garage. We lived as neighbors for nearly 40 years before she had to go to adult care. Now nobody in the surrounding area helps each other or talks over the fence anymore. Sad state of our world. Thank you Erik for being one that cares and helps!
I have a 500 lb neighbor who broke her leg and was in rehab for 6 months. Another neighbor and myself took turns mowing her front yard while her 21 y.o. nephew "lived in the house". When she got home neither of us were told thank you and I stopped doing it. The other neighbor continues to help out even though she is not homebound and works. Still no gratitude from her....just the expectation it's someone else's job and not hers. I really can't remember who was taking care of it prior to her rehab stay...but she had someone doing it. In our case, we are being taken advantage of and I stopped letting that happen.
I miss talking through fence neighbors. Next door has become abandoned (fun fun!)and to the left they are quiet and elderly but they smile and wave. They never asked for help until I gave a Christmas card and my phone number one year when I cleared our driveway I cleared theirs too. Found out they don't see good enough to drive in snow and I went for food for 3 folks on the block. A few years later we exchange plants veggies and conversations. We need more neighbors like this one. All we want is someone who smiles waves and keeps the land nice. Anything extra is a bonus.
There are still good people in this world. A couple years ago water pipes burst under our concrete slab and we couldn't use our bathroom for two weeks our neighbor gave us a key to her house and also left out snacks for our son. We still watch out for each other.
This seems to be such an "I," world these days. There was a time when neighbours helped each other. I'm 67 and I well remember those days. Thanks for being an Angel!
Sadly I have a neighbour who keeps demanding we cut our yard. I have been sick off work for almost 12 months. My husband is not in the best of health and works full-time. The yard is not at the top of our list and we haven’t the money to pay someone to do it. It is really stressing me out and I am expecting him to report us to the local council soon. Before I was ill I kept the yard beautiful, neat and tidy. If I could do it I’d be outside from dawn til dusk fixing it. Why do other people feel the need to interfere with our lives and cause us stress? Erik, as usual you have worked a miracle on this yard and have done a marvellous job. That mulching machine of yours is a game changer. ❤
@@MsDale1976 Same. I assume that neighbors are concerned about property values going down due to the appearance of a neglected yard but geeze, things happen! People get sick and can't do what they normally do.
Can't imagine clearing this lot by hand. Thank goodness you have that mulcher. These neighbors who complain should be ashamed of themselves. Thank you sooooo much for helping this family😍
Back in 1993 my wife and I bought a house in Springdale, Arkansas. Small 2 bedroom older home built in the 30's. We hadn't been there but a few weeks and I noticed my shepherd licking the grass. I walked over to see what he was doing and there was a 2 inch steel pipe sticking out of the ground about half an inch filled with water. My neighbor, an older gentleman told me his brother had lived in that house right after he came home from WWII. That was their well. So I get a water pump that attached to my drill, hooked a 50 foot hose to it, fed it down the pipe, I had free water. So I poured a 3 inch slab of concrete around it and built what appeared to be a doghouse around it and put a 110v pump in it. Lived there 12 years, filled a 9,900 gallon swimming pool from it every year, watered the garden and lawn with it. I thought about hooking it up to the house but wasn't sure if that was legal or not. I also put in a fish and game cleaning station with a double deep sink. It was great.
Neighbors should help Neighbors. My husband mowed our 94 yrold neighbors yard until her family moved her to a assisted living. He did that for about 4 yrs. Eric your town is lucky to have you! 😊
I’m 69 years old and I mow my own yard. It’s a very big yard so my awesome neighbor across the street mows down the easement for me and half of my side yard which helps me so much. Sometimes my other neighbor has a yard business and he will mow the side of my yard for me so I only have the front and the backyard to do My neighbors are always so helpful. God bless you for helping this woman.
I love that machine. If I ever win the lottery, I would buy one for my son. When he mows his property, he gets so excited. He does straight lines, if one isn’t straight, he goes back over it until it’s perfect.
The last 30 yrs our nation has become more about what's in it for me. You do you and I do me. Back in the day we watched out for eachother. Not anymore.
We really need to be very cautious about who we help. There's too many people out there who simply want a free ride. I'm all for helping people. But I always want to know their story first.
We had an older couple move in next door. They were in their mid 70's. He was sickly and she was in good health but was unable to do some things. So we helped them with home repairs, painting, mechanic work on occasion. In turn the elderly gentleman watered my flowers, and cared for them every spring until winter hit. He loved to garden so each spring I would help him plant my front yard flowers as well as his flowers. He asked to take care of mine as a way to us since we helped them so often. With both me and my husband working full time, this was a perfect solution. They were the best neighbors I've ever had.
I am very blessed to have my sons living close. My yard is almost an acre. The yard had gotten pretty grown up due to my surgeries, family illnesses, and just life in general. My boys came up with their tractors and big trailer. They were getting the brush out when a neighbor came over and asked when their 'mother passed'. They told him that I was in the house watching TV. They had a good laugh and ended up helping him spread a dirt pile. For no charge, of course.

My grandparents built their farm in 1922 and there was no "city" water available, so they drilled a well and used a hand pump. This could be the remains of an old well! It looks a lot like the old pump on the farm. 👍Keep up the good work! I help my neighbors in any way I can, It's awesome to see there are still people who believe in "love thy neighbor" as a lifestyle. Bless you.
They say to love thy neighbor. So even if you don’t love your neighbor, you can be polite and try to help them. Can’t even imagine why their neighbors would rather complain than to try and help. I understand that some elderly folks are stubborn and prideful and aren’t always keen to help, but you can keep reaching out to people in need to see what you can do to help. God bless you for helping those in need.
I am amazed at your equipment ! You must be blessed abundantly and you deserve it because you have helped so many in times of need and continue to do so!
Since my Dad passed the neighbors have been helping my stepmom maintain her large yard. The neighbor behind mows for her and the one beside her does the weedeating and sprays where it’s difficult to reach. She has awesome neighbors.
I care about my neighbors! I am 73 and just had open heart surgery. I may not be able to do heavy work but I bake and take to them and do things to show them I appreciate them. I greet them and check on them too.
Orrrrr hear me out. Some of us physically can't help due to chronic pain and surgeries. Some of us also may not have the mental capacity to help either. Hope this helps 🙃
People have no respect for other people. But you Erik came to their rescue. You are a great man. People should mind their own business and if they don’t like it, then go in there and clean it themselves
I've always believed you should help your neighbors! Instead of complaining to them, be nice, and ask how their doing. Especially our elders! You never know what they might be going through. The guy on the corner doesn't have enough to keep himself busy, or he wouldn't have complained. Eric, you do an amazing transformation every time! There should be more people like you or caring neighbors, and there wouldn't ever be a problem to fix.
We had several neighbors this spring with health problems, we all chipped in to keep lawns done and garbage day taken care of, can't imagine not helping out❤
The neighbor came down on a lawnmower, looks as though he was elderly and couldn't help anyway so he decided to engage his crotchety old man mouth and complain. Have a little compassion old man and stop harassing the ladies who are going through things beyond their control. Erik, yet again a fine job. Keep doing what you are doing ❤ God Bless you
Back in my days, neighbors helped each other . Thank you for cleaning her yard. God Bless you❤ I'm 61 and still help others that are in need. PS....I watched 3 older gentleman died from cutting grass when I was in my teens
Neighbors. It is so much easier to complain and not help. Then it is to have a human kindness and compassion. !!! Eric thank you for all you do without hesitation or reservation!!!
You’re so right, Erik. Mental health issues also mess with people’s ability to keep yards from becoming overgrown- because weeds grow incredibly fast. You are truly an angel for helping this family!! God bless you.
My hubby will be 77 in October and he cuts our elderly neighbor’s yard and the young man next door cause he works all the time. He has been doing. This for at least 5 years and not planning on stopping anytime soon. Eric thanks for your generosity ❤️
There are a few good neighbors but they are few and far between. It says in the Bible at the end of times people will not have any respect for others, become callous, greedy and only think of themselves. I am seeing this now everyday in people. A neighbor who knows these people have had such health problems and demands them to clean it up and not get out there and try to help them......there is no excuse. I would not want him in my neighborhood. He may need help one day and no one will come to his rescue. You my Man did an outstanding job for these people and who are one of the few who still cares. Bless you sir.
I love what you do Eric. I mentioned once before we had been looking for help. We are nowhere near you though. Yesterday one of my neighbors complained too. They have all the equipment we would need to get our place cleaned up, but not only will they not help us, they are threatening to sue us now. They won't get very far with it. I still am fighting my broken back. People can be such jerks.
Erik, you never cease to amaze!!! FAN-tastic job as usual. The problem with some neighbors is that they would rather complain than see if someone needs assistance, this or antagonize their neighbor expecting friendship. I like all the new machinery. Thank you, Erik, for caring & helping others!!!
Sometimes people get so concerned with what is going on in their own life, they seem to not be kind to others. Then there are others like you that help those in need for free. Thank you.
Thank you Erik for helping them out and I hope her neighbors understand what there health needs are and help them to maintain the yard instead of being annoying Karen’s
We live in a society that we care about ourselves than others. You make a difference after all. I do believe in helping our neighbours or become friends with them. Your machine is a real beast 😂😜
God bless you Eric your a star I wish there were more people like you in the world it would be a far better place you are so kind & giving you will be so blessed😊😊😊
Praying for the Lady and her husband. Thanks for helping them. You're so Awesome. God Bless You. Thanks for caring. Just wish people would start being more helpful to each other. Awesome Video ❤❤❤😊😊😊
Neighbors are not what they used to be when I was younger. I am in my mid 60's along with my brother-in-law, and we still get out there to mow and weed eat. I still love it and both of us can still do it. My sister, in her 70's, gets out there and pulls weeds and digs up roots when needed. Most people cannot rely on neighbors who are only looking out for themselves and like to cause problems for those that need a helping hand. It is a shame. Our world has changed so much and not for the good. Thank God for people like you and several other utubers that get out there to help those in need. Looking forward to your next video.
I understand nosey neighbors, had them for 11 years...finally moved and so far at 70 I have lived in the country and can do what I want. WHEW!!!! Thank you for being helpful to those who need it.
I’m thankful to live in a neighborhood where this kind of activity doesn’t happen. We take care of one another. Our neighbors help raise our children. We all depend on one another because we can!
I would help my neighbor as much as I could. I am blessed with wonderful neighbors that help me post back surgery along with my family. I would never not help if I could.🎉❤
Yes, their neighbors should help. If they had offered early, it would not be the trouble it is now. That angry neighbor needs to meditate on his navel, and how well he keeps that navel clean.
Thanks for helping this couple. Have the Lady call the city or someone to check it out, it might be a cave underneath. That's what happened in my city in an abandoned property.
You are awesome! Thank you so much for helping this couple when no one else would. It looks great! That pipe could have been from old utilities. Maybe there’s an underground bunker somewhere. I guess you could go the sci-fi route and say metal snake.
If only people were all like you, what a wonderful world 🌍 we would live in. Good job Eric and don't forget to wash with Dawn dish soap to get rid of the poison ivy 😊
Yes we need neighbors helping people who can’t do the job themselves I am very blessed for my neighbors great job of cleaning up the property she’s lucky to have found you
It's my first time actually watching one of you videos. I've seen you & know you are from Mich. So am I --from Muskegon but I have lived in N. Carolina for a long, long, time. How kind of you to help this lady who really needed your kindness. Thank you. I'll be watching more. :-)
Hey, Erik. Good to always see you help someone in need. Survival is the mode of many neighbors today. People are trigger happy. So neighbors stay on their side if the fence, and still they have no desire to help someone, some of the neighbors are a part of the problem. They toss their trash in there, too. But we bless God for you. ERIK. YOU ALWAYS BLESS SOMEONE FAR BEYOND WHAT THEY CAN EXPECT, I LOVE THE COMPANIES WHO GIVE YOU HEAVY DUTY EQUIPMENT TO HELP YOU GET THE JOB DONE.!!!!!! THE BIGGEST HIGHLIGHT FOR ME, IS WHEN YOU HAVE YOUR HEADPHONES ON AND THE SONG IS GROOVING AND YOU DO YOUR LITTLE DANCE 💃 🎉🎉🎉😅😅😅😅😅 I LOVE IT!!! GOD BLESS YOU, AND PLEASE TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF. I'M PRAYING FOR YOU.❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

People have no respect for other people. But you Erik came to their rescue. You are a great man. People should mind their own business and if they don’t like it, then go in there and clean it themselves
That machine is wicked awesome. You have a huge heart sir, thanks for helping!
I remember a neighbor helping me when I had a leg injury. They have since moved on. I hope they are doing well. I hope she puts grass seed down.
Prayers to them
I've always believed you should help your neighbors!
The neighbor should help them out and understand or mind their own business
I probably would have said , unless you are paying my taxes keep quiet..
"Karens" exist in both sexes. They don't know how to mind their own business.
Or at least recommend someone who could help.
Keep doing what you are doing ❤ God Bless you
He’s probably the one that said he was tired of looking at it to , instead of offering to help. ( while he sits on his rider)
Judging when you don't know for sure 😕
@@dianeadkins1281 he was identified as the complainant. It's clear as day.
@@dianeadkins1281 isn’t that what you are doing too?
@@dianeadkins1281 go back inside
Neighbors should help each other. When you're down, it's in that time. Neighbors pull together and help. I would help.
Eric you are such a blessing from God to help this lovely lady out 👍
The jungle like this requires a beast to tame it. Great job Erik 💪👏🏼 We live in a different time for sure and not a lot of neighborly people. 🙁
That machine is amazing. Went through that like butter. Great job. 🙏 To the lady
That’s years of neglect. Not just a few weeks. She is blessed that you could help. Most people do not have the equipment to help.
Actually, those plants are pretty fast growing-since she broke her arm and her leg, she would have been laid up for 9 mos or more...be kind.
Where I live, that type of brush can grow in one rainy season.
She explains in the beginning
Don't forget that explained that she didn't know the Property belongs to her.
Back in my days, neighbors helped each other . Thank you for cleaning her yard. God Bless you❤ I'm 61 and still help others that are in need. PS....I watched 3 older gentleman died from cutting grass when I was in my teens
Blessed to help them
Thank you Erik. Now you know this family health issues, I hope you will go back from time to time and continue to help them.
I agree…neighbors should help out their fellow neighbors.
Amen
Mega-Munchie in action is irrationally enjoyable to watch, better than many TV shows - splendid transformation 👍👍😺
Erik, you did great on this yard and helping them. Lord bless you and your family.
You do amazing work. Watching your videos gives me a little hope for humanity. Keep up the great work.
You have the greatest lawn/mowing equipment ever!!! Love your films....😊
Blessed to help them! Be sure to subscribe
Cool mulching machine. Thank you for all your help and compassion.
Awesome job Eric. God Bless you and yours for showing the love for your fellow citizens. Thanks for being you.
Blessed to help them!
My hubby will be 77 in October and he cuts our elderly neighbor’s yard and the young man next door cause he works all the time. He has been doing. This for at least 5 years and not planning on stopping anytime soon. Eric thanks for your generosity ❤️
You are a good god fearing man be proud the neighbor could take a lesson from you.
You are amazing. Kindness just oozes from you. Thanks for sharing your love for others. Thanks for being you
There are a few good neighbors but they are few and far between.
Blessed to help them! Be sure to subscribe. Hope the world turns around
Where abouts?
That’s so sad that they are the antithesis of a “neighbour”.

@@OutdoorswithErik I have been subscribed for a long while...just change name.
I am blessed that I have several really fantastic neighbors. I help them whenever I can and they help me!
That is awesome!
Sometimes people get so concerned with what is going on in their own life, they seem to not be kind to others. Then there are others like you that help those in need for free. Thank you.
:)
You teach by example! You renew my faith in humanity.
Huge job, but Excellent results! I'd give anything to have that soil! Great video! Hoping they both mend 100% ❤😊
Hello Erik ,I don’t know how you have time to do all the gardening you do Hope you are well xzx
Wonderful job Erik, it looks great. That pipe in the ground could be an old well casing.
Hello and thank you for being so kind the pipe in the ground looks like a old well have a very blessed day
Thank you Erik for helping them out and I hope her neighbors understand what there health needs are and help them to maintain the yard instead of being annoying Karen’s
That was fun to watch! I’ve never seen one of those mulching machines before
We live in a society that we care about ourselves than others. You make a difference after all. I do believe in helping our neighbours or become friends with them. Your machine is a real beast 😂😜
Human nature.
If everyone would stick together and help if you can, can you imagine what a better world we would be in
From all the comments u get for helping people in need God will always blessu and yr family. Great job

God bless you Eric your a star I wish there were more people like you in the world it would be a far better place you are so kind & giving you will be so blessed😊😊😊
You are a gem! Not only for helping them out but for acknowledging her partner as her wife.
They were both amazing people
@@OutdoorswithErik in the first part of the video she said her husband was in the hospital so I'm confused.
I only heard ‘spouse’ not husband.
People have no consideration or compassion for their neighbor! Sad world we live in. Thank you for stepping up and helping out !
Ahoj Eriku, to byla úžasná práce a majitelka vypadala spokojená s tvojí prací! A to je moc dobře! Užijte si s rodinou krásný víkend! 🌿👍👍🌿🏆👋
Im watching your videos from the Philippines i like.your.amazing machine. You clean up so well. And God bless you
Great job yet again. You ever notice how neighbors are not nice anymore? Thanks for what you do.
God bless you Eric, its people like you who make me proud to be helping other people. When I see someone who needs help I don't heaitate.
I understand nosey neighbors, had them for 11 years...finally moved and so far at 70 I have lived in the country and can do what I want. WHEW!!!! Thank you for being helpful to those who need it.
Nothing wrong with being nosey just have to help each other
I’m thankful to live in a neighborhood where this kind of activity doesn’t happen. We take care of one another. Our neighbors help raise our children. We all depend on one another because we can!
I would help my neighbor as much as I could. I am blessed with wonderful neighbors that help me post back surgery along with my family. I would never not help if I could.🎉❤
Your 1 in a million Eric, World would be a better place if there were more like minded people like yourself
There neighbors should offer to help...
Yes, their neighbors should help. If they had offered early, it would not be the trouble it is now. That angry neighbor needs to meditate on his navel, and how well he keeps that navel clean.
Amen
Great job Erik . I know the neighbors will be happy and the owner looks very happy .
Thanks for helping this couple. Have the Lady call the city or someone to check it out, it might be a cave underneath. That's what happened in my city in an abandoned property.
Yeah, I was thinking someone could get hurt stumbling upon that or an animal could lose their life falling down that pipe.
You are awesome! Thank you so much for helping this couple when no one else would. It looks great!
That pipe could have been from old utilities. Maybe there’s an underground bunker somewhere. I guess you could go the sci-fi route and say metal snake.
The hole looks like an old well.
That's exactly what I thought..
Old well or if there was a house there in the past it could be leading to a furnace oil tank not capped off.
I was going to say the same thing
Or else breather from a septic tank without the mushroom top
Or for sewage
We need more kindness and compassion in this world, Erik thank you for making a difference 💗🙏
You did a fantastic cleanup for this family. I admire your work ethics! Nothing deters you from
doing the best job ever. 🙌👍
If only people were all like you, what a wonderful world 🌍 we would live in. Good job Eric and don't forget to wash with Dawn dish soap to get rid of the poison ivy 😊
Yes we need neighbors helping people who can’t do the job themselves I am very blessed for my neighbors great job of cleaning up the property she’s lucky to have found you
Blessed to help them! Be sure to subscribe
I'M PRAYING FOR YOU.❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Great video Eric! May God grant you and your family so much for all the blessings y'all do to help so many people out! 👍👍👍
Eric, you're such a blessing to the many lives you touch. This transformation was much more than phenomenal. WOW! That crazy machine of yours is a true beast. I've watched you use it for a while now, and it makes your work so much easier and faster. Thank you for all the selfless things that you do for others. You're a gift from God, and He will continue to bless you and your family. Sending love from NC 🇺🇸
