I have it on my 365XL and like it. Wish my 320 had one.

Thanks for the video! I got a good deal on a P365 XMacro but it didn’t have a manual safety. Reason why I want a manual safety is because I’m new to carrying and would like the manual safety to build up confidence.
I’m now comfortable carrying guns without manual safeties as I also got a Glock 19, but having the manual safety on the P365 has helped me build the confidence to get to carrying all the time with any handgun without a manual safety.

This video was so useful. I just got a P365X and I was considering doing this until cutting the frame part.

Replacement frames with the safety cutout are relatively cheap

@@kurtthegunsmith Not on sig's website, that cost $90.

    Excellent video!
Not having a manual safety on your carry gun can get you killed. If God forbid someone is struggling with you and is able to take your gun, having a manual safety may prevent them from being able to shoot you. If they don't know how to disengage the safety and use the gun, it can give you time to pull a backup pistol or escape. Massad Ayoob has some good information on this subject!
By the way, the reason you're not satisfied with the job you did cutting the grip frame is haste. If you had taken your time with hand files you would have done a much better job. Make the initial shallow cuts with a small saw or Dremel, then finish with files. Take more than 5 minutes. The results are worth the time!

Wow. So because they don’t offer a manual safety on the X Macro Comp, I have to buy the part….and the new grip module. 😡

Have you felt any difference in the trigger pull.

Nope, this part doesn't interact with any parts of the trigger when disengaged, therefore your trigger pull will be exactly the same

I can’t for the life of me get the takedown safety bar back on correctly

Did you try hitting it with your purse?

    Why would anyone do that?

Some like the idea of having a safety to manually disengage before firing. That's actually one of the major hangups people I've talked to have with these, they aren't comfortable carrying it without a safety.
