This is a great video. But, you said in disassembling the cylinder that to unscrew the rod that has no slot, you should turn clockwise; yet, you turned it counterclockwise on the video.

I have the same weatherby with the synthetic stock that I would like to put picatinny rails on the front foregrip and flush mount QDs in the rear stock. Is it possible to put the qd in the rear stock

Make sure you rough up the liner with some rough grit sandpaper so the glass has something to grip to. Also if you heat the barrel a little the glass will flow better just not too hot. I have used different mfg. liners but the best ones in my experience are TJ's liners. They are aircraft grade material and are hammer forged. They are sold by the inch so you only buy what you need. Those little #4's are neat little guns and fun to shoot.

My mag won’t go in when it’s fully stacked. When I take one bullet out it slides in perfect it’s an extra mag but thought that was kind of lame

Thanks for the video! I got a good deal on a P365 XMacro but it didn’t have a manual safety. Reason why I want a manual safety is because I’m new to carrying and would like the manual safety to build up confidence. I’m now comfortable carrying guns without manual safeties as I also got a Glock 19, but having the manual safety on the P365 has helped me build the confidence to get to carrying all the time with any handgun without a manual safety.

I have heard that when using copper bullets (monolithic)….. accuracy may be improved if you clean the barrel down to bare steel first (with a copper solvent). Have you found this to be true? Recently heard this from Ron Spomer and then tested on another channel. Id love to know your opinion. Thank you

Love the idea of being able to raise / lower the vise but that's about it. I would like to have that and install a 3x adjustable multipurpose vise.

I don't know when out 16 Guage was made. It would not eject plastic Shells. Took to gunsmith and now it ejects plastic shells. My Dad got this gun in the 50's.

I think you need at least 7 or 10 more vises. Then you can join the vise-reject club with the rest of the smiths that haven't figured out how to use 1 multipurpose🤪

I just put a new Wilson Combat grip on and reassembled it, then the magazine wouldn't go in, thought I messed the FVU up. When I get home I'm doing this 1st thing, hopefully that fixes it. Thanks!

Thank you sir I have a S&W K22 3 screw that I want replace the cylinder stop and spring this is so helpful , I have taken the gun apart a few tines over the years its pretty east but never the cylinder stop. It's a fantastic gun!

Really nice review! A lot of reviewers have commented on the bolt moving back slightly and having to move the bolt forward slightly to return and lock it, but never explain why. They just leave it as having a sticky bolt action. Another thing they comment on is the safety not completely returning to the safe from the fire position. The safety is activated, but it's not completely in the safe position unless you double move it there. Have you experienced that?

Adapt a air fitting to the thread of the nipple, clip into an air compressor and just wait, pressure assuming the ball fits tightly should come up to like 60psi before dropping to like 30ish and the ball falls put the end. Sometimes if the ball isn't so tight you may want to get like 100 psi in the tank before clipping onto the nipple adapter

My CZ 457 heavy barrel does not like CCI Standard Velocity, inaccurate and failure to eject.

Disappointing that you have to make repairs to a nearly new gun, I just deceived a 930 in March of 2024 as. Warranty replacement for a 9200 which worked flawlessly for YEARS! My son and I put 60 rounds thru it for the first time this past weekend, we had 6 fail to fire. Our problem is the shell gets past your tube shell release but then gets jammed agaisnt the elevator, so ours looks like the elevator is moving upwards prematurely and binding the agaisnt the brass before the shell fully floats onto the elevator. Before getting this 930, imhad asked the mossberg warranty person many questions , as I had just bought a choate pistol grip stock for the 9200, my question was will the choate pistol grip fit the 930...he said yes in an email, I took his word as being an expert on their products and then asked...if I pay more can I get your 3 barrel combo...taking his word that the pistol grip would fit, i laid out the extra cash. Upon getting the 930 I attempted to install the pistol grip only to find out, it's not compatible, I called choate to confirm this. So I called mossberg and said I was a little mis directed, could you ship me the proper choate pistol grip from your site, they said nope sorry our guy mis spoke, have a nice day! I asked how fair is that, I paid extra and have been a loyal owner for years and had friends buy mossberg products, theynsaid sorry we wont be ordering anymore, I asked if they could send a PO to choate, and have them forward the buttstock, the answer again was no, so I accepted they wont come good on that, so I asked nicely if they could ATLEAST, send me the 20 dollar over sized charging handle....again this customer service person let me down., not even 20 dollar part to say sorry for the inconvenience! This said I dont see this next warranty repair going very well seeing as how they dont have a care at all if your happy with transactions with them in the least. Another disappointment was , I didnt know that the 930 was more of a base model , my 9200 had chrome lined barrel, and this nothing...so it's almost like I downgraded, and didnt do enough research to see that the 940 had already come out...and I should have asked for it....since they got the bugs out of the 930 with the 940 improvements 😢

What's the thread diameter on those barrels? 1"x12tpi? I've got one in 7x57 but the throat looks porous lava. What's the chance I can spin on a large ring mauser barrel, witness mark it and cut the extractor grooves? I've got a mill, no lathe.

Thanks for that video. Well done. I have a model 70 featherweight in 270. I put a stainless Hart barrell on years ago. Barrel breakin included JB bore polish. This has made a very smooth bore and barely picks up the copper. After 40 rounds of TSX it takes 6 to 10 patches of copper solvent and it is clean. My 1921 Mosin is pitted and takes forever to clean. Condition matters. Congrats on the group size, its a keeper.
