I’m currently writing a fanfiction that takes place in Gotham, so videos like this really help me get a better sense of the layout of the city. In my research, I mainly used a map of Gotham with public transit lines to plan out where my main character would live and how she’d get to and from work.
Little bit of trivia: Robert Kane Bridge is definitely named after Batman co-creator Robert 'Bob' Kane. -After the No Man's Land earthquake, nearly all but Wayne Enterprises buildings collapsed due to the fact Wayne Enterprises uses Japanese architecture. The design is specifically made to handle quakes. Another awesome video my friend. Keep it up!
Yeah it seems like a lot of the bridges and places were named after DC writer's or artists which is pretty cool. Thank you for the comments as always my friend.
Yeah and another bit of trivia. The district “Otisburg” is named after one of the districts that Otis was gonna take in superman 1 after lex was gonna reform the American west coast.
I'm also a Gotham city fanatic. But the one thing that bothered me in this video was Blüdhaven. It's not a district of Gotham City but a neighboring city. Chuck Dixon the creator of Blüdhaven has put a map of it in his comic run on Nightwing. Blüdhaven is beneath Gotham City. But your video was awesome. Great editing. I see where you got all your sources from. Currently I was making a map of the city myself when I saw this video after watching the architecture one.
Thanks for the kind words about the video. I was definitely not suggesting that Bludhaven was a district in Gotham. Apologies for not making that clear in the video. I just wanted to mention it as a neighbouring city because I love it’s history. Thanks for watching and commenting. Best regards, Schizofenik
Phenomenal job putting this together. I wish DC had the resources/talent/inclination to organize and caretake their canon to a degree that one could recognize geography and architecture presented in a consistent way, and see the city actually grow and change over time. It's no surprise given the scope of this city that batman quickly started putting together a bat-family shortly after his crimefighting career launched.
I wish there was a Map Code for this map. I would love to get in the map and look around for ideas. I’m building my own version of Gotham City now. Most of the great private Creative Gotham City maps have no Map Code. And that’s really a shame!!
Oh my… where have you been for 11 chapters of my fan fic? This is absolutely incredible! I’ve been switching between multiple maps, relaying mostly on Arkham Games for districts and locations, but mixing it with comic canon. This is absolutely incredible! Thank you!
This is one of the most incredible uploads I've ever seen. I love the format! Perfect. The attention to detail, the interfacing, presentation is amazing. This manages to be informative with entertainment value. This channel is woefully underappreciated!
Can you also make a videos of the map of metropolis, star city, coast city, fawcett city, central city and keystone, midway city, blüdheaven, and every fictional city and country on dc comics
i want a video like this but instead you go over every significant location and tell the stories batman faced at those locations, like jokers funland this is where batman and joker and their "insert number" showdown and ultimitely where blah blah blah died or something cool yk? im playing a lot of gotham knights and as a major batman fan and batfamily fan its depressing to explore gotham and not recognize anything, i want to be flying through the city thinking omg thats where so and so fought so and so.
so sad that a lot of this isn’t in use in the arkham series. to this day arkham island and a majority of gotham are still locked down do to arkham city. But this is only in the arkham series
I believe Crest Hill and Wayne Manor are is canonically 15 miles north of the Gotham City islands. It used to be in Bristol, but the comics changed it later.

hey you're content is amazing like I've never seen anyone this good at bat man facts
Thanks for this. You included a bunch of very esoteric locales
Recently, DC Comics put out Gotham City Monsters comic, one of the districts was called Monstertown, and one of its land marks is Tusk's Hotel 🏨.
So many districts in Gotham are over here in England. Kingston is a town near me. Somerset is south west. Burnley is a city with a FC. It’s mad
Well done my friend 👌🏽
AMAZING!
Roland Meacham is "The Smiler," but I prefer your interpretation, "The Slimer." I now imagine someone covered in a ghost's green ectoplasm.
phenomenal video
The next Batman game series should make a open world Gotham based on this.
I love how Gotham has got do much britsh culture

The way you set out this video is unclear, please make it again and make it more clear :)
I guess this isn’t a Fortnite map… so you can’t get in it.
