I'm not even pregnant or even a woman, but I've been in bed with the flu and this really helped to sort my aches and pains for laying down for so long.
Thank you so much for making this video. I'm 24 weeks with incompetent cervix and now on bedrest- I nearly cried when my doc told me no more yoga but she said this practice was fine! You have no idea how helpful this is, thank you so much.
It is so hard to find a video like this that can help pregnant women put on bedrest. Thank you so so much for making this. Would you be able to do another video or more series for bed rest exercises/movements? I would appreciate it so much and I'm sure many other women would too!
I'm 18 weeks and have just had a cerclage and am bedridden for rest of pregnancy (with some limited walking priveleges). Have been super worried about keeping my body healthy for when the baby comes. I already feel better for having done these stretches and will continue daily. Thank you so much!
I had a cerclage cervix, and I', yoga teacher as well, some of your poses are not safe if someone has cerclage, and rest in bed means no open hips , no sit strieght, no pressure on your cervix! take it easy ...
I found this to be a little much for my body while on bedrest, but at 36 weeks I have now been told that I can behave as a "normal pregnant lady." This video is great for helping to get my strength back before moving on to more challenging workouts!
This video was just perfect. I am not on bed rest but am 36 weeks with painful bladder symptoms and pelvic floor dysfunction and this video helped me so much.
I am not on bed rest but I feel sick, exhausted and tired all day so I spend like 75% of my days in bed anyway. This was the perfect "difficulty level" for me to pull through the whole work out. Even though now I feel like napping again. I will try doing this every 2nd day now
Thank you so much for sharing this vid, I used to be physically active untill I was diagnosed with an incompetent cervix. Doing this feels so refreshing after weeks of inactivity. Felt comforting warm sensation over my back and legs right now. Can't thank you enough..❤
@@shivisinghal4890 I didn’t get a cerclage but a Pessary inserted (not sure if this procedure is common outside of Europe). It was during week 30. I’m now on week 34 and cervix is stable and no longer on bed rest. Also am on Progesteron to prevent preterm labor.
@@shivisinghal4890 ahh ok, I think in Europe they do the same. The cerclage and the tablets especially when it is early in the pregnancy. They generally also add the bed rest. I hope that everything goes well for you. I met many women who had short cervixes and with these preventative measures delivered healthy babies.
Overall this is a lovely resource. I agree with some other posters that certain movements may not be safe for incompetent cervix. Just another reason to check with your doctor or midwife about what exactly the restrictions are! :)
Jessica, I love your videos so much! I'm not on bed rest but I did this video anyway and got a great stretch. I'm 33 weeks pregnant now and I've been doing 20 minutes minimum of your videos per day my since my 3rd trimester started, in order of most popular to least popular (I filter your videos based on popularity). I have about two more days' worth of prenatal workouts and then I'll have completed all of your pregnancy workout videos so I'll start over from the most popular ones after that. I'm so thankful for you!
Congratulations on your pregnancy!!! Getting close at 33 weeks 💞 It’s my goal eventually to have a new workout for every day of pregnancy! I have a ways to go still though ;) Thank you so much for joining me and your support!
Thank you for this ❤️❤️❤️ 21 weeks with cervical incompetence and on reduced activity/modified bedrest. So worried about putting any extra stress on my cervix, so this practice is perfect! I was so sad when I realized most of my prenatal yoga is all about opening and stretching in your pelvis and puts pressure on the cervix, and I’m so grateful I found this so I can safely keep my body healthy!
I’m not on bed rest but I definitely tried this and enjoyed it. I’ve been religiously doing your prenatal yoga every night. It is the only thing that helps me sleep at night.
Thank you so much for this! 🙏🏻 I’ve reached my 34th week today and I am absolutely mortified to give birth while a worldwide pandemic is happening.. (it’s my first child) Do you maybe have any tips how to calm myself before giving birth and how to hopefully make it a good experience? Lots of love from Sweden ♥️
Hi Vivi! I love your name (my second daughter is Vivi also). What part is the scariest for you? Maybe addressing your fears and making a plan for each on e would help? Or are you looking for more a meditation or yoga class to help bring calmness and confidence to birth. It is a hard time to be pregnant and birth, but mothers are strong and we can do anything for our babies! You are preparing and you are going to do amazing 💞 love from Canada
@@PregnancyandPostpartumTV Love that your daughters name is Vivi as well ☺️ I was thinking if there might be a meditation or exercise that I can do when I go into labor that takes away some of the stress and anxiety surrounding it. I will definitely try to write my fears down and bring them up on my midwife appointment to help deal with them! 😊
Vivi NaMg yes there is! Look up hypnobirthing, there are some guided RUclips meditations. I’m with you as I’m also getting ready to give birth. Sending love ❤️

Wow, it is so nice of you to make a video like this :) I'm hopeful to not be placed on bedrest, but I'll save this to share with my midwife for the early postpartum period.
I'm 16 weeks pregnant and just found out that I have a dilated cervix and polyp so I can't have a stitch. I'll be doing your exercise on regular basis. Thanks for this video

I’m 17 weeks pregnant with excruciating round ligament pain and it’s also in my vagina CD abusing more discomfort. I’m trying to find ways to elevate the pain. I’m not on bed rest at all and this is my 4pregnancy. I never felt this before
Can we get on our yoga mat to do these ? 🤦🏾♀️ I’m definitely showing these to my dr . I can’t just lay here in bed or on the couch and not move a lot it’s driving me crazy ..
