I used Enovid during a weekend I had to work a really large convention back in September. I still wore my N95 a lot, especially when I had to be out on the show floor or in the larger halls -- but occasionally when I was in our work room (which was thankfully never very full, and quite large), I would take some "mask breaks" and felt more at ease doing so. Who knows exactly what protected me "most" -- or if it was the Swiss cheese model of all of my efforts (more likely) -- but I never got sick.

Thank you for answering all of these questions, Sandy! I do have a comment/alternative product to mention. Especially relevant for those concerned re: price. Like you, I wear an N95 every where I go, but the more protection the better. I started taking the nasal spray Azelastine in June for allergies. It has been shown to be an antiviral that inhibits the thing we're all trying to inhibit. There is a study on PubMed from Aug 2021. My insurance covers it because of my allergies, but it's also available OTC.

I have now read both the pubmed abstract as well as the original paper. While I agree it's encouraging news, it's important to note that this entire study was in vitro, not in vivo. That means, that the drug was tested in a lab on cell cultures in petrie dishes, etc. This has not been tested on human beings divided into groups and then comparing infection rates. That might be a long way off, though I have no way of knowing based on this paper. My guess is that it will be important to prepare the product in such a way that it stays in place (up in the nasopharynx), and the currently marketing product -made for allergy sufferers- might not do that. I agree it's something to keep watching (unfortunately, it seems that the concept of repurposing old drugs never gets any traction). It seems relatively benign, especially if you're on it anyway; however, I'm not entirely convince that it works in vivo they way it did in the lab experiments described in this paper. Be well.

@@SandysDIYHealthAdvocacy There is another study, which I cannot find now as I did most of my research over the summer, that showed users (can't remember the group or setting) were less likely to test positive. From something published in June 2022, "A Phase 2 efficacy indicator study with azelastine-containing nasal spray that was designed based on the findings reported here has been concluded recently, confirming accelerated viral clearance in SARS-CoV-2 positive subjects."

@@SandysDIYHealthAdvocacy I read over all of the studies on nitric oxide and it's really just incredible. I'm ordering some to have on hand for myself, and also for my brother who is more into doing Jiu Jitsu several times a day than he is into masking 🙈. I got all of the risk aversion genes in the family! He got Omicron earlier this year & then had long haul issues for several months, so having this on hand for him will be great. Thank you for all you do!

Thank you for all that you do and share with your viewers.
Can you elaborate on what is said on individuals who had 2 mrna vaccines and booster along with an Omicron breakthrough and how they are protected.
I had Covid for the 1st time on this New Years Eve. I'm still not sure where I caught it from. I have been wearing a mask diligently since the start of the pandemic. The only time where I let my guard down was during the holidays where I visited family members who came down from Florida on Christmas Eve. although none of them were sick.(Perhaps asymptomatic) Symptoms lasted me about a week. It took 12 days before I tested negative.
I'm a caregiver to my Mom who I'm with daily. My greatest fear is getting sick again and passing it on to her or my family.
However, because of that, for the past 3 years I'm living in this fear bubble and refuse to visit anyone or go to any event. I want to slowly do things again. I'm glad to have seen this video along with your most recent one where you got the bivalent booster. It brings me peace to know that I'm not the only one.
Everywhere that you go nowadays, people who wear mask look like the outsiders because hardly anyone especially in my area is wearing a mask.

      Wow. I totally hear you.
I've read that Omicron breakthrough offers the longest (though not forever) protection. There are probably exceptions.
Anyway, I hear you regarding the bigger picture. It's very hard to know what's best, and I think everyone has to decide for themselves. As for me, I realize I'm caught in a bit of a fear loop (yes, I made that term up). We've decided that we're giving up too much at this point to continue being as risk adverse as we've been. That's probably a whole other video (or 3!), so I'll keep you posted. I'm starting small though. Be well.

Including shipping from Israel, how much does it cost?

I believe it's about $45 per bottle (if you buy at least 2), and they might even still have a 10% of end of year special going on
