I wouldn't recommend an airgun for EDC, but in some situations it can be adequate. If you're not prepared to take a life, carrying a real firearm is stupid. You're more likely to have it used against yourself if you pull it in a scenario. An airgun however, you can use without the concern for killing the other person. Ones that are realistic like this gives you similar intimidation factor (until you fire it) so some individuals may retreat from the sight of it. If you do have to fire, shots to the face can give you time to retreat. You can carry this without concealed carry permit because it's not a firearm (same applies to antique revolvers from 1899 and prior) and if the attacked gets possession of it, you're gonna be in a lot of pain but you want be dead. If you are prepared to take someone's life in a defensive scenario, then a real firearm is always going to be better. And in any defensive use of force scenario, make sure to call it in regardless of the tool used or the results. If they survive and they call, they're the victim and you're the assailant. If they get away and you report that you had to defend yourself, you have a legal trail you can use in court.

These replicas are great for if you don’t have reliable access to a shooting range since you can shoot them in your backyard. Most models also function just the same as the real gun itself so you can be familiar with how your carry gun works but not have to constantly drive across the city to reach a range
Mine has a problem with the slide where when I rack it back it gets caught on something right before the slide release. Not sure what, it also makes it hard to cock and most of the time it doesnt reset when shooting
I have two p365's . Read lots of complaints about slide not working properly . Both my guns where sticky , lube slids with silicone oil and work action by hand for awhile , easy . These parts are not like real firearms and the tolorance leaves a lot to be desired . They now both work great .
You may also try some rubber o rings to help cushion cylinder against the seal . Size - 9/32" O.D x 5/32" iD . Does not work well in some of my guns , but does a good job in my 365 and can leave cylinder in . Have had no problems with seal .
Just found out today . Don't overload magazine with bb's . On some guns when you release the spring a bb may slip up under the spring feeder bar and stop the spring from pushing forward. Thought at first i couldn't hit the barn door till i discovered there were no bb's coming out . 🤪
I have an airgun that I use for this very reason. However, I have been thinking of going to the cool fire system. You should contact them, I bet they would send you a system for T and E. Coolfire.

Tbh I don't think that's something to worry about too much - even dollar-store cap guns can be convincingly realistic at this point. In a robbery I wouldn't expect too many people to be looking too closely at how 1:1 a gun looks. (Not to mention, hyper-realistic will always be there - used to airsoft a good amount in college and a LOT of airsoft guns are pretty much 1:1) AFAIK these sorts of very accurate airsoft/BB reproductions also have a real purpose - can be used for training by police departments etc for force-on-force training, which you obviously can't do with real handguns.
This gun is horrible!!! I have had the misfortune of having two of them and both were horrible! The gun is poorly made and does not shoot with any type power when it’s not jammed.I would tell anyone interested in buying this gun to save their money. @@jagpilotohio Used to airsoft a lot. A lot of people will take the orange tip off, or paint over the orange front section. Literally a 30 second job. So if someone purchased a reproduction with criminal intent, that would not stop them at all. Also, this isn't an airsoft pistol - it's a C02 training pistol that shoots metal BBs, which are too dangerous to shoot at real people. And while one of these won't kill someone, it CAN absolutely injure someone pretty badly. Honestly I think this is perfect for a training pistol's purpose. Too dangerous to play with, real-looking/feeling enough that in handling it I would respect it. If I bought this, I would WANT to treat it with the respect my Sig P365 deserves.
