Procreate Basics Tutorial - • Ep. 1 | Choosing an iP...
How to install :
1. Go to any of the link above. Put in any amount and checkout.
2. You will receive an email with a Download button.
3. First you can try to click on the button in your iPad.
4. The link should bring you to the brush set. Which you can load into Procreate by clicking on 'Open in Procreate'
Troubleshooting
1. Instead of clicking on the link in your iPad, you can click the link in your computer.
2. Unzip the file if need to and save it to your iCloud or Dropbox.
3. Navigate to that file in your iPad and click open with Procreate.

He’s talking about the sketch layer. Because the sketch layer is made out of sketch lines with lower opacity for shading you get a layer that expresses all light n dark values using opacity. So when you lock the alpha for this layer you can recolor this sketch and you can essentially finish your painting instantly. That’s the tone trick he’s talking about.

I don't get it. When we start using the red, what kind of brush I should use? And should I create a new layer or can I do it in the same layer? I'm very confused and I tried watching it with the lowest speed but can't catch if we're supposed to use a new brush or keep using the Saturation brush :( I also don't understand where the orange is supposed to go...

it works as long as you have procreate or procreate pocket. Make sure you unzip them first!

I struggled with trying to figure out how to download the brushes. I tried multiple things, and it didn’t work, I got the download email but it would just take me back to your website and make me start over again. Also tried putting in my billing into etc. and that didn’t help much either.

Obviously it’s sped up I don’t think people get how long a simple face takes to do and I’m trying to gain perspective myself

in other tutorial she typically uses the natural flat brush from her smudge brush set. This would be my guess here

You need to use the blending tool in procreate. It’s between the brush n eraser. Then u pick the blending brush to use with the tools

i get nothing, I merge the layer and than you can just overdraw your sketch? that would just erase it. what happend between?

Yes and no. I learnt by color picking. The only thing I learnt was there are too many colors to make sense of. Everyone has their own journey in learning.
Excellent video. From what I understand you only used the saturation brush and the sketch brush. Is this correct?

When you’re painting the main skin tone, you just did that on the same layer as the merged sketch layer? Edit: oh, you have to use your special saturation brush, thanks!

She used the app Pinterest
