Very interesting to see the full process from start to end, thank you for sharing.
It’s embarrassing to admit but I didn’t know about the smudge tool! Looks very useful for blending colours together smoothly, especially where the skin is concerned.
The blending tool is important if you want to have a realistic approach to your drawing. :)
Do more of whole process videos pls. It’s very soothing
Pisting more videos soon. Thank you 😊

Yup :)
am amazed from the fact that u always switch colors quick u used about 100 shade of colors and still look great , and my dumb asss thought i had to use a color paletts only 😤🤣
It make's the portrait more realistic using different shades of colors.
More real time please. I learn from real time videos
Thank you. :)
I just started portraits… I retire u win lol
Amazing artwork and thanks for sharing! Curious to know why you use shade / colour lips brown before moving to the red colours? Any reason to don't shade with a red or a pink? Thanks
Thank you. Sometimes i like to experiment things in my process :)
This is not speedpaint and for me its a better bcs i know how do The details or shadows and more so its for me more better 🙏💗

Brushes by Mel on page 8 of Portrait section on Brush Galaxy.
where u intending on having it printed/ as i noticed u used 300dpi?
You’re so talented! How did you learn how to match the colors so precisely? Any tips?
Thank you :) i just practice my eye picking colors. And blending is one good technique to practice too.
Hey great video! I‘ve just started drawing. How do you control the opacity of your layer in general? I don’t know how to do it, thank you!
You just merge all your layers. Two fingers tap in your layer and lower the opacity by sliding your finger left.
the background music: plink plink plonk
Thanks for the detailed explanation, but which merge tool do you use?
I used the layer option on the upper right of the screen. And click the layer and choose merge down. Or you can pinch in the layers that you want to merge. I hope my explanation is clear. :)
@@billynotbully yeah thanks
Thank you so much for this gret indepth tutorial. I subscribed to brush galaxy but I cannot find your brushes ...can you help? thank you!
Thank you. I don’t have a brush set yet but i’m posting it soon :)
Which brush did you use for smudging/blending please?
I use Soft air brush and control the opacity level for more precise blending. :)
What wondering what brush pack do you use?
I use skin by Mels Brush :)
Next alita
I'll consider it :) Thank you for the comment :)
I'm really impressed.....I just want to try this out....but I don't have the brushes....and I don't have the money to buy 😭....do u know any free brushes I could use for this portrait?
You can use brush that already in procreate like softairbrush. :)
Quick question please , how you managed to display two pages on procreate? I mean one page to sketch and the other to display photo . Many thanks for your channel .
There are actually two ways to it. You can use the reference tool by clicking the wrench icon on the upper left of your procreate screen, click canvas and reference. The other one is if your in procreate up swipe up from the bottom of your screen til it pop up the dashboard icons and drag the photo icon to the side of your screen and that will make another window. Hope i help you with this :)
@@billynotbully yeahh you can either use the reference window or split screen :)
You are so amazing
Thank you. IpadPro 2018. :)

Hello Natalia. I use soft airbrush mostly. 😊

Hello and I am sorry for trying to message you in this way but can you refer me to anyone who could help me with galaxy brushes? I paid $19 but when I go to the site it will prompt me to pay a second time.... again I know it's not your company but I liked your tutorial and I am a new procreate user. I didn't even get in email confirming the order
It’s okay. Did you try to email them/customer service?
@@billynotbully yeah I did what I could and I don't know how seriously they take emails because I haven't heard back. There is no phone # that I could see
I’m sorry to hear that. I will try to reach them and ask them about your concern.
@@billynotbully thank you I appreciate it
