Tip I found helpful for light direction is go to Wrench in top left, canvas , enable drawing guide, edit drawing guide, choose perspective and then tap where your light source is and it will draw guidelines from that direction :)
This was so helpful thank you so much! I’m a traditional artist who’s looking to learn digital. These are all the tips and tricks I’ve been wanting to know! Thank you so much!
At the base colouring process: you can also set the line art layer to reference mode and then drag and drop the colours. They will be applied to the line art surfaces
But if you have holes in your lineart, it won’t work. Like if you look at his when he’s using the selection tool, the face has a little open area in the lineart That’s probably why he didn’t mention that one
thank you! I've watched all of your tutorial video, and I think it's the best among others tutorial! because it's simple (no need for many confusing layers/effect) and instruction is very clear. Most of it are not a very long video, but all of it have a every important things. Since it's free,it's really helpful for newbie, who doesn't have much budget.
This was very informative and when I get some time I will draw something using it. I am currently adapting as I usually draw pen and paper so it is like learning all over again.
This was genuinely super useful, thankyou! I feel like such an idiot as I didn't realise you could use the selection tool by tapping ahead of where you wanted to select instead of just carefully drawing along the line. 😂 Thanks dude!
How can I get that Gouache brush? Also, when I get to the shadowing part, all the brush strokes just come out grey, they dont take on the color of whatever they are being painted on. How come?
