Yo, Will(or Tom)! Your channel has really become something to behold. Your reviews are soooo good. I know everyone thinks Barry at Sim Racing Garage is God's gift to sim racing. But his reviews are paid for and he is just so selective that I have started ignoring him.
You guys, on the other hand, are immensely detailed without going overly crazy on the technical side. I have made all of my purchases over the last few years largely based on what I have learned from your videos.
      Keep up the good work!

Hi James, great to hear your insights! Just one minor correction, you claimed the elastomer you put in influences the maximum braking force you can utilize. However, due to the design of the mechanical endstop you reach at the second stage of braking, you can always reach exactly the same brake pressure regardless of the elastomer you have in there. All it does is determining the amount of force needed to overcome the first stage, in theory you could remove it completely (in that case you’d only push against the retainer spring until you reach the 2nd stage)

I think its crazy asetek listened and then went right out making pedals selerate if you want. Insane company. Love it!! Ive neverr seen anybody teaol brake so fast. To me thats just nornal braking lol you are super fast but I wouldnt even consider that trail braking.
Edit: i see since this you have changed. I watched one of your latest videos and thats def trail braking. I guess thwse pedals made you think you were trail braking yet werent? The brakes dropped right off as you thought you were trailing.
So yeah probably just something to do with the pedals because you trail brake amazing when I watch other videos.

Thank you for your honest review. You are actually the only calling okt the „cheap“ construction of the throttle. But i‘m sure it can be fixed with a better spring and better matched rubber.

Love your review. I’m actually searcing peddals with a high forch needed on the brake pedal. I’m a big guy 1m87 with big foots 😂 and with heusinkveld sprints i’m maxing out so easy i’m afraid to buy the ultimates. I drive a lot of iracing and acc and i drive with a really stif setup. Today i tried indycars on iracing and i crashed a lot not because of overdriving but i max out the brake pedal with my big toe figuratively speaking , i am a late braker and my reaction the speed only when i’m not holding in is maxing out the sprints to easy. Also in opposite of you i make errors when holding in my force. I maby dont need 100 bar but i do need double the force with a bit of slack when driving formula cars. I think you are gonna make me buy these pedals.

Too light throttle is my biggest problem because DTM in Raceroom without traction is very difficult to modulate. It’s like: or too less gas or too much gas which means spinning constantly. So yeah a good throttle with hydraulic dampening would be driving changing for me.

Say if the Loadcell brake force was set too high causing you to not get on max brake pressure consistently enough, would that cause colder brakes and Tires?

hmm still a loadcell design, but with all others using springs or rubber this uses a hydraulic cylinder. Be interesting jut how reliable it will be after a lot of use.

In my opinion they should Dell this Pedals With an Even softer elastomere. With the Softest Black elastomere i Need almost 40 bar pressure to get Ingo Hard Stage. Which Should be around 70kg. I almost Never get Into Hard Stage With Even the Softest elastomere…

I tested both and went for the Heusinkveld.
They are more racing/engineering, while this feels more like a lifestyle/design product than anything that’s built purely for functionality.
You can’t even space them like you want, that’s like Logitech pedals!
      They should always come individually!

thats a completly miss understanding what the software need to have... dont need led, dont need to see pedals pictures move, dont need curved lines... BUT NEED OPTION TO SAVE CALIBRATION FOR EACH CAR....unbelivable. Another thing... they will not be compatibile for simucube true drive software. That decision will reject many simucube owners to buy it... including me, who sees first hand the benefits of one software for the whole hardware. To bad decision for Asatek director
