- In this video, our in-house sim expert Gaz and McLaren Factory GT3 driver Joe Osborne test out Heusinkveld Engineering's sim racing pedal offering. Joe takes the Ultimate+ for a spin and tunes them to perfectly match his GT3 McLaren 720s.

I was chuckling at first but “I middle foot brake” broke me. 😂
Joe's jokes aren't scripted haha, you should hear the ones we had to cut!
@@DemonTweeksTV 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Joe is great. I could race cars with him all day with his sense of humor.
You should see the unedited stuff haha!
1:29 ... Middle foot braking ... LOL I"m dead Hahaha
Sick commercial…
Was hoping to see an actual driver just give their opinions on these. Not just a infomercial.
Hilarious and Informative
Is the s curve the same with the brake?
How do these feel against feet in socks? Is it uncomfortable to heel toe in socks with the ultimate+ pedals?
They still feel good in socks, but really are designed to replicate that real race car feel, so probably worth using sim specific socks at least :)
Bro he is literally complaining about things you can clearly change, they are on the screen in front of him. It says bottom and top dead zone. I have these and the software is genius.
Conclusion? You could not tell the difference between ultimate and the sprints?
Joe means he could not tell the difference in terms of response and feel between the ultimate+ and the pedals in his real GT3 car. We did not set up the Sprints on our rig as we were trying to replicate a GT3 car - The Ultimate+ pedals allow us to put the same braking force through the pedal as a real GT3 car
@@DemonTweeksTV thanx :)
@@DemonTweeksTV Do you recall what elastomer stack he ended up using to get that feel? I couldn't tell by the angle of the camera, but I'd love to know! Thanks fellas
I just picked up some sprints, they are great. The only real difference between the ultimates is that they provide more braking force.
@@elitesennabubble They also have a damper on each pedal which is going to offer a different feel.
I think you misunderstand the term "dead zone" with the brake pedal. Sure the fluid and slave pistons move as soon as you press the pedal but there is always a small amount of "dead zone" as the pads move to clamp the discs, it is after this point the pedal begins to stiffen and slow the car. so there is always a small dead zone.
I was coming to say the same thing, I doubt they will ever replicate pad knock back after a long straight though
140 kg?... Jeez he's got a leg on him. Best I can do on my Ultimates is 50 something lol.
Just commercial…
