    That is a sweet looking GP-30. One of my favorite locos.

    A fascinating video. An "Original Transcon RR" enthusiast, here. A simple procedure done many times daily, but seldom shown in a nicely prepared manner such as this. I know now how many gallons they hold, LOL. We travel the original UP/CPRR ROW's, do simple Rephotography, etc. following A.J.Russell/Alfred Hart/Charles Savage' views. The UP/Kansas Pacific apparently was not the major player during the Manifest Destiny era, as UP and CPRR were the major contenders for Government money's, etc. Thanks for your efforts. Subscribed.

      Thank you so much. Not everyone knows how many gallons there are in a locomotive. That's why I put it down, and it's always a big hit because everyone asks about it.

    Pretty cool. I don't know much about trains, but never woulda thought that they'd refuel somewhere other than a yard or fuel depot.

      @GreyBeardTrains  8 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, a lot of times, they can not get to the yard the direction they're going
