4 EASY AND INSANE Tricks Using A Doubleback Card!

Hey everyone! These are 4 very easy yet amazing tricks utilizing a double back card. The tricks get progressively better and better so be sure to watch the whole video if you want to be a master at this gimmick! Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe!

HOW TO REQUEST A TRICK:
1. Find a performance of a trick on RUclips that you would like to see on my channel, or even film yourself performing the trick and upload it to RUclips.
2. Copy that RUclips link and go to the discussion page on my channel. (You have to be on a computer to go onto the discussion page, unfortunately it doesn’t show up on mobile devices)
3. Comment in the page: (whatever you want to say really... like “please teach this!” Or “I would love it if you revealed this!” Something like that.) Then PASTE the link to the performance in your comment.
4. Post your comment! And I will for sure look at everyones request! The people's tricks that I like will get a special shoutout and a tutorial for the trick in a future video!

For trick #1 & #2 you could use the "marlo tilt" as it looks more like real magic instead of just putting it second from top (you do use the marlo tilt in trick #4)
For trick #3, i would suggest using a "spread cull" to bring yheir card to the top. This looks more natural.
For trick #4, here is my suggestion. Place double back in box as you did, then any trick you want as long as their card ends up on top of deck. Use "one hand top palm" to take their card, the just pick up card box and "pretend" to dump out their card from box. (As their card is palmed in your hand, when you pick up box and open it you make sure flap is facing down, hold finger over open edge of box, give box a shake and let palmed card slide out of your hand. It will look like you just shook it out of box. Close up box and hand out entire deck. You end clean with double back hidden in box)
This is just my 2 cents worth. These are my methods for performing these tricks

This is awesome. I randomly bought the black bicycle aviary deck today because I thought it looked cool, but I didn't know it came with a double backed card in it. I love the way you explain these things. I also find interesting the different ways that you can effect people by a presentation. Such as when you say that you are going to use your imagination and creativity to flip the card. That is a much different kind of effect that card magic had on me when I was a young child. For me it was always as I was watching a presentation, that I was be holding this crazy thing that was happening in my reality and it was not because I was thinking it was going to be like that.

I love those Citizens cards. For whatever reason, they seem to be the smoothest of the ones I’ve tried from Theory11, and the inclusion of that double backer only sweetens the deal that much more. Thanks for the awesome tutorials!
These are Artisan Blacks from theory 11, I have the same decks. It's $10 presently at local supermarkets

Pretty much all of these can just be done with any normal double-lift. I much prefer color-shifting double-backers. The effect is way stronger to "change the color" of the spectators card. I don't think any of these four tricks couldn't be accomplished by just double-lifting any given card in your deck. Except for the "one upside down" trick.

For the first trick, just put it face down in second position, then flip over both cards, and lift up the card on top seperately

What are some decor that come with double backers?
That's my favorite part about double backs is the fact that you can do that prediction card or just double lift and be able to slide the card off and show that it's one card.
Oh wow, I just got the Artisan deck from Theory 11, saw the double back card, went looking for some tricks and found this video. Also got the Monarchs as well and the High Victorian. Theory 11 makes some beautiful cards. Thanks for the tutorials.

I just picked up the Bicycle Frost deck from Walmart and found it comes with a double back card so that's cool.
I got the exact same deck for Xmas
the riffle double break is kinda like a crutch try to use pinky count. it makes that double lift slightly more conspicuous.

Just taping 2 cards together to make a double backer feels unnaturally thick. Just watch a video on how to split cards and glue them together.

Do you have a trick that uses a doubleback card that has different colors? like in one side has a blue back and in other side has a red back
The problem in the trick #2 is that you need a justification for not turning the card from the middle immediately, and putting it back on the top of the deck instead before you flip it again.

Since no one's saying it. And maybe cauze they are not totally bad with cards as me . I would apreciate a rework on the ambitious card routine. Anyway its all good if u dont wanna make it cauze its kinda old . Keep up the good work man!
Another good tip is to stop encouraging people to riffle to get a break and teach them the pinky count, far more effective not visible by the spectator it can be done at any point plus it creates more dexterity with the finger for more sleights, flourishes, etc.
Now the same stuff with a double face and a blank card ;)

I mean, the first trick doesn't change at all if you use a normal card instead of a double-back. The trick doesn't need one at all!

What i do to prevent the spectator choose the front card is hand him a fan of the other half of the deck

Most decks (if you’re getting them from places like Ellusionist or Theory 11) come with a double backer. I have at least 15 decks that come with a double backer. Also, did you just explain how to do a really basic double lift by telling us to get a break when you could just do the lift in the moment?
