💚 Oh Buddy I love you🐾💓🐾 Magnificent plants Amy🌿My dear husband just ordered me a "rare yellow" one! I will be propogating in the spring for sure. So exciting! Q...do you still hold back on watering/fertilizing in October to promote blooms? Blessings 🤗
Thanks so much, Sharon! The yellow ones are BEAUTIFUL! I don't hold back on the watering and fertilizing in October now...but they don't require quite as much in October. Blessings to you and Buddy appreciates the love! :)
@@Mel-sv1ux Amazon, It looked like a t-giving cactus to me by the photo, but I don't care. Leaves weren't rounded. Mine already shipped from southern cali. Won't be long I'm in AZ. So exciting!
Beautiful! Thank you for sharing your approach to growing. I was looking at my older plant trying to decide If I should do some trimming. The fertilizer recipe is great too, thank you. Blessings
Good gracious, I have just found you on RUclips. What stunning plants you have. I am definitely going to apply your method to my cacti. I have an older cactus that just finished blooming for me and now I have noticed some purple ing of some leaves. I have had it for quite some time and praying that it just needs to recuperate from the blooming. Thank you for your videos. It’s been 3 years since you posted I hope your plants are still thriving. 😊
Hi and welcome to my channel! Thanks so much for your sweet comment. I have a lot of content from the past 3 years, including current cactus videos. Many blessings! 😇🌸🙏
Good morning Amy. I started using your formula a few weeks ago and I'm finally seeing buds on one of my smaller Thanksgiving cacti. Hopefully the larger plants will put on a show this winter. Your old cacti is absolutely stunning! Have a wonderful day. Tammy in N AL. 🙋♀️💕💐
Beautiful! My two are much smaller, but the blooms are bigger and more colorful this year! Have a blessed Thanksgiving, and thank you for sharing your secrets. 🥰
I received a Thanksgiving cactus as a gift last year and have been following your regimen since April. I put the plant outside for the month of October (50-60 degree nights) and now it has flower buds on many of the stems. Thank-you so much for providing this powerful information about keeping these plants healthy and strong! Looking forward to what it will look like during Thanksgiving! Happy Thanksgiving to you!
This plant is beautiful!! I love watching your plant videos and they are so helpful!! I have phalenopsis, this seems to like water more than moss or bark, and I have Thanksgiving and Christmas cactus.Thank you!!😊
I got a small one yesterday and somehow it still have buds. I am so worried that they wouldn’t bloom because of the probable transitioning shock. I hope I won’t lose buds and afterwards have a nice healthy growth during the summer. Come fall, I wish to have beautiful blooms. I definitely try your fertilization method, since I use something similar for my 2 beloved orchids. It is a very clever and useful trick to use fertilization water left out from the orchids. Thank you ☺️
Thank you so much for this information. I received a small Thanksgiving cactus from my friend for Christmas, 2 years ago. It's in a small, plastic "Groot" container. I water it every 2 weeks (in So. California) and I've had a few new leaves, but no blooms. Should I transfer it to a clay pot?
After watching your videos about this Christmas cactus, I just went to the Home Depot and bought a new one. I have, white, pink and salmon colors, and today I got Red...🤩🌺🌹
Thanks for shatmring with us. Its beautiful. I got 8 kinds of orchards every time when i get them growing again they get white funges on the leaves then they die again. Now i got them growing agan but i cant get them blooming what did i wrong. Please ket me know
It's now November in the UK I have 4 Xmas cacktus which I leave in my bathroom one of the plant its flowers are dropping of and I had a big one of my sister and it isn't in bud how much water and light do i need to give them to help them bloom thank u
Hello, new to your page. New cactus mom, my question is I just bought 4 thanksgiving cactus they have bulbs on them and a few bulbs bloomed. I want to know can you tell me how and when to fertilize them now as it’s December. And how much and often? And you have such a great collection and beautiful cactus. Thank you

How beautiful 🌺!! Thank you for sharing & it was so good to see Buddy, he looks so sweet❤️. Thanks for the info, I’ve been adding a tsp of cal/mag & seaweed extract-oops! How do you get them to fully bloom. The the cactus that I have doesn't Bloom fully it has buds , but it hasn't opened up , do I need to fertilize or just leave it and see what happens
Hi! Since it's budding, it will bloom soon! Just don't move it...it will disturb the buds and they'll fall off. Wishing you many beautiful cactus blooms!

Your holiday cactus are just beautiful. I really hope mine can grow to be as large as yours. My holiday cacti still have really small buds and some large which fully bloomed. My question is will those small buds continue to grow??
Hello, I’m new to your channel and a new Thanksgiving cactus owner. I appreciate all of your care instructions as well as your kind blessings. Is bottled water a good substitute for the reverse osmosis water that you mentioned?
Hi and welcome to my channel! :) I would think that bottled water would be fine for a Thanksgiving cactus. If you have a Brita or Pur canister, that would be good too. Blessings!
I'm sorry to say but the cactus you say is a Christmas cactus is not a Christmas cactus it's also a Thanksgiving cactus. I have all three Christmas cactus, Thanksgiving cactus, and Easter cactus and I have been growing them for more than 35 years. Christmas cactus do not have points on their segments their segments are scalloped there are no points just ask any expert go to a nursery that deals with holiday cactus and ask them to show you a Christmas cactus and you'll see the difference but make sure they're experts and not just a flower shop that said your plants are beautiful you're doing great keep it up. And to the other comment to that's said yellow flower cactus are rare they're not this is just a ploy that sellers use to charge more money and make a few more dollars.

Just wondering you say to add the espoused lime 2-3 times per year is that the same as you cal mag or something different
The Epsoma garden lime is a pelleted form of calcium and magnesium. CalMag is a liquid form. I use both. :)

Eastern (morning) sunlight. ☀️
