- In this month's Newsletter video we will be showing you how to setup the Davis Vantage Vue console to receive from the outdoor ISS (Integrated Sensor Suite) or outdoor sensors. We will also show you the set up for the remainder of the console.

Thanks for reaching out on our RUclips channel, the Vantage Vue is still an excellent station for a newbie. They are a US made product, that features UV stabilised plastic and are designed to last for significant periods in the Australian climate. In saying this, it will really depend on how you want to see your data as to whether this will be the best option for you. It will be worth reaching out to our team to discuss your options to ensure this is the best unit for you.
You failed to show the "dumb button" when you pushed it, so I still don't know how to get out of set up.
I looked at the console, and realized you said done button. I pushed it down and held it and got out of set up. Thank you.

And Do I need to separate the data logger from the console or not?

Hi. what's the best way to mount the outdoor station?
Thank you for your enquiry regarding the mounting of your Vantage Vue.
This will greatly vary depending on your environment and obstructions, along with the distance from the console to the outdoor sensor suite.
If you can send through a mud map of your property to customer-support@instrumentchoice.com.au one of our Scientists can assist you in positioning the station in the best location and at the best height.

You should of showed what buttons you were pressing.

My console has stopped displaying the Barometric pressure. Any suggestions please? Thanks
Hi Robert, thank you for your enquiry regarding your barometer reading on your Vantage Vue. The sensor is housed within the console and the first step would be to do a full reset of the console. You will need to power it down removing both batteries and AC adapter. Let it stand for 5 minutes and then repower it. If this doesn't resolve it. It is likely that the sensor has unfortunately failed. If that is the case please reach out and we can move forward from there.
how to can setting if the temperature outside, humidity outside and dew point not rush up on the console.
Hi Muhammad, If your console isn't showing temperature, Relative and Dew Point it sounds as though it isn't receiving from the outdoor sensor suite. Enter the setup menu and ensure that the station you have set your outdoor station to matches your console.

How many beeps with data logger and without data logger
Hi John, Thanks for your question. There will be three beeps without a logger and four beeps with a logger. Hope this helps!
How to buy this in abroad
The Vantage Vue console in the video has been discontinued and it no longer available. You will need to speak to your local Davis supplier for alternative options.

@@instrumentchoice I'm in balkans and nearest i saw is ljubljana and Belgrade which is around 300km away from me but i don't know to risk to go to far Idk what to expect there
