I am from Kenya and a huge fan of your videos. I was deeply moved by the first video but this almost brought me to tears.
I grew up in a small town (bigger than Budalangi, though). Every Saturday, when I was around 11, my mother would drop me off at the local public library and for approximately $0.30 I would immerse myself in books for the entire day. In those pages I met Nancy Drew and got to chill with the Famous Five. I walked besides Tyrannosaurus rex, peered down volcanoes and was fascinated by quasars and black holes. Suffice to say, the library was my favourite place in the world… well, save for home😊
I consider myself extremely fortunate; first, to have parents who supported my curiosity and, second, to be in the proximity of such a spring of knowledge. Unfortunately, the latter is remarkably rare in my country.
At best what you have done will inspire and equip the next generation of leaders and changemakers to transform their community. At the very least you have provided a distraction and a healthy escape for a kid from the often problem-stricken environment they are growing up in.
And so on behalf of that 11-year boy who will open 'Dinosaurs and Other Prehistoric Life' any time a few weeks from now, I want to say thank you; to you and Cambry and Philip... And to everyone who donated a book or helped in sorting and transporting them, and to anyone who watches or likes or subscribes to your channel because they helped the word travel. If any of you has ever been unsure, you've made the world a better place.

I spent 3 long weeks with my best friends, to make one barely passable bird cage but I feel really proud of it. I was from small town with limited access to internet. It is truly amazing when a collective effort is put towards an important cause like this.
If we all work together we can achieve anything such as hunger and building shelters for those less fortunate.

When I saw you pick up that book (Call of the wild by Jack London), I remembered a time when I was privileged to visit our school library and read some of those interesting stories.... including Frankie among others.... And I just wished those were coming to my country instead coz most of the books I read in that library actually had a donation sticker from some place out there...
Thanks Zack, this is going to build a whole generation of brilliant people...

@@realemonful As a donator I have to say without the work / planning of Zack and Phillip there would not really be a focus / catalyst for the donations. So donators getting second billing is not lacking respect, at least IMHO.

I knew a briljant physicist at university (The Netherlands, ) from rural Africa that got the same opportunity you're giving. He got his doctorate in Material (Nano) Science and was the smartest of us all!
You're giving people access to the world and beyond. That's just indescribable epic.

I grew up in northern Kenya where the entire school had a single book for every subject no extras, we use to read old newspapers as the closest substitute of a story book.
