    She touches and hits so many bullseye's in this speech.
    There's something old school about her and that's what makes her classy.
    Yes, Jodie, no reality show or press conference from you a la Kardashians and luv ya all the more for it.
    No ever badmouthing from her either about fellow actors or directors, and she's seen EVERYTHING in Hollywood to write a book !
    She keeps it real, low key and good humored, and that's prob how she is when the cameras aren't rolling.
    So many great movies and iconic performances.
    She lets her work speak for a life that's fully lived and realized.
    Finally lost it when she gives that moving tribute to her mom at the end. Bravo !
    Miss ya, Jodie !

    • @kayliahferrero
      @kayliahferrero 10 лет назад +32

      No way is Kristen Stewart like Jodie Foster.Her acting is wooden stiff and she doesn't have the emotional range of Jodie.besides Jodie is smart,funny and sensitive while kristen is clumsy,awkward and lack self confidence.

    • @SpicyMarcoBB

      Jodie Foster may be awkward in public and quirky just like Kristen Stewart, but when it comes to talent, there's no comparison, Kristen Stewars has none.

    • @reptongeek
      @reptongeek 10 лет назад +13

      Kristen Stewart does have talent outside of the Twilight movies. The reason I know this is because she was in Panic Room. David Fincher would never have cast her in that film if she couldn't play that role

    • @kayliahferrero
      @kayliahferrero 10 лет назад +3

    • @reptongeek
      @reptongeek 10 лет назад +1

      David Fincher though does do a lot of takes and there is a lot of performance variation in those takes, so I don't think he would hire an actor/actress who wasn't able to give him a wide range

    She makes 50 look 30! Yet you can tell she’s aged naturally and beautifully, and you can tell she takes care of herself, protects her skin, eats right and works out. She looks healthy and fit, radiant and absolutely stunning.
    As a gay woman, who came out later in life, not only do I respect her tremendously and felt immense joy and pride when she did this, I also intimately and personally know the courage it took her to do this. And her thanks to her Mom was so heartfelt, bittersweet (does her mom have dementia?? To me Jodie’s speech seemed to allude to as much) and meaningful, it moved me to tears. Besides being an incredible actress, one of the very best of her generation, Jodie Foster is strength, class, intelligence, humility, and genuineness personified. Focusing heavily on the coming out aspect of her speech, many seem to skip over the fact that this speech also contains her announcement to semi retire from stage and screen. Which is a bit sad considering her enormous talent on screen and behind the camera; yet I cannot wait to see what she does next. I’m thinking either teaching acting as an honorary professor at her alma mater or writing novels. She’s incredibly intelligent with a genius level IQ and MENSA membership, learned to read and was memorizing lines at 3 years of age, was valedictorian of her senior class, is an Ivy League, magna cum laude graduate of Yale University which also awarded her an honorary doctorate, and is fluent in four languages. I’d wager her success at anything she puts her mind too. 👍
