Jodi and Anthony Hopkins were just the most dynamic duo and it will be a long time before anything out of Hollywood can match it!

I loved astronomy and was a huge fan of Carl Sagan and of course the question of "are we alone in the universe?" is something I think everyone asks themselves. The scene where they are grilling her over her character not having proof of the alien contact made me cry when she explained she had an experience that she can't explain, it was so powerful, her acting in the scene... wow.

I suspect that Jodie Foster is intelligent enough to know that there is no adequate test to measure intelligence. She probably has the knowledge and logical thinking to know that the IQ Test is inherently flawed in many ways, including that a measurement of intelligence can't be reduced to a single digit.

Not many can withstand the rigours of Hollywood and Jodi has done just that from an award winning child actor to Yale graduate to award winning adult actor to director. It is amazing that Jodi has retained her integrity and love for the art and just continues to grow as she ages (very gracefully ages at that!). ❤ Such a beautiful human being.
