Jodie is gorgeous. Even her laugh is beautiful. One of the most talented yet least egotistical actors ever.
I am curious what you know about her ego. Please explain.
@@distractionb.....and where do people meet the actors?
@@distractionb”least” egotistical.
Super smart. She actually graduated from Yale.
Thanks Jimmy 😅@@kimclarke5018
Imagine existing in the world of Hollywood for all these years, and still retaining your integrity. Got to admire that. 😻
I'm sure the Kardashians are going to be just as forthcoming and personable....lol
She chose not to do things rather than being one of those actors that will do anything for money. And she went beyond that into directing and producing.
LoL why the emoji choice
@@loveinthematrixbecause cats have a lot of integrity.
@@loveinthematrix. The bigger the star; the smaller the ego!
It's unreal that she's 61 years of age and still naturally looks so good. What a legend
The funny thing is, for some of her roles, they actually had to make her look older to match her current age in the movie.
You act as if people are ancient at 61 lol. A lot of people look good in their 60s and even 70s. It's a matter of lifestyle choices - if you choose to treat yourself and your body badly you will look bad, if you choose to treat yourself and your body well then you will also look well in old(er) age.
@@Sashimi1408 People age differently. 60 is the new 40 for some people, but for others, 60 still looks like 80..
So nice to see a celebrity age "naturally" no Botox and fillers!!!
To hear you speak one would think she's at death's door lol. 60 isn't THAT old.
I dare anyone to point out to me someone with more talent and more class than Jodie Foster. By far the greatest actress of my generation, and yet so down to earth!
agree
As a little girl, I always looked up to her because she to me was the classiest and most intelligent of all actresses.
Damn good looking woman as well...
PREACH!! I love her.. She is a CLASS act! 🙌

Jodie Foster is a treasure.
A strong brillant woman. We need more of her.
Wonderful.. so thank you!
She always just makes me smile, that luminous beauty, that mix of brains and heart . A star for the ages, no matter how reluctant.
For me it's always been that voice.

@@kencairns532 Remove that godawful peace sign. Easy to be ''pacifist'' when your home is not invaded and relentlessly attacked. Do you know what war is? Do you think attacked countries chose to be at war? No, we don't. It's preposterous to put a peace sign while there are genocidal invasions happening in the world.
OMG I love her. She looks amazing. No botched plastic surgeries no fake BS. All real. What a great actress.❤
Do you think there's one single hollywood star that is natural 100%???, I would love it was true but I'm afraid is not. She looks great, looks "natural", but, Is she?

Just say she looks great. No need to add "for her age"

My eyes popped out of my head when I saw that Jodie Foster was on the show. What a magnificent interview. She is, as Jimmy said, a legend.

The Silence Of The Lambs is the by far one of the greatest acted and scariest movies of all time!! I went to the movie theater to see it as an adult and when I got home I checked under my bed. Jodi and Anthony Hopkins were just the most dynamic duo and it will be a long time before anything out of Hollywood can match it!
It’s my favorite movie of all time. People are always shocked. Watch it every time it’s on. It’s a classic.
Famously, all the major figures in the project were second-choices. Demme wasn't even on the studio's initial list of preferred directors, they wanted Gene Hackman to play Lecter and they wanted Michelle Pfieffer as Starling.
Sometimes, fate just throws the right people together.
The book is so incredibly well written you cannot put it down until you finish it. Compared to the book the movie is lame and boring.
OMG! Yes! Nobody could have played her character! That role was made for her! And then I saw her in “Contact”, and she’s been my dream woman ever since! I also love the fact that she is letting herself age with grace! She looks so much better than those botched surgery Barbie dolls, who need their looks cuz they don’t even have 1/10 of the talent that she does!
Watching as we speak lols...creepy! 😮😳🇨🇦💁
She is such a breath of fresh air in Hollyweird! Beautiful, talented, unproblematic and down to Earth.
….and she acknowledges that she LOVES Los Angeles (her birth city). Interesting that most Americans hate L.A. 🤷🏼♂️
Never forget her role in Contact 1995! Superb
She has aged beautifully!! And talent, wow! So many stars go for overboard plastic surgery and look horrible. She’s naturally beautiful! Kudos Jodie!
Jodie has had plastic surgery and it was done well. She definitely had nose and chin work. Compare old photos.
Still has that "spark" decades into her career, how can you not love her?
Jodie's such a wonderful human being. If there's a list, she's near the top.
Jodie is and always has been classy and beautiful. She looks amazing. We are the same age, I grew up watching her grow up. Love everything she does.
She should receive the Kennedy center honors and afi life achievement award for her contributions to the film industry for decades both in front and behind the camera

Loved her direction and acting in Little Man Tate. Dual force.
They are too busy giving the award to rappers these days....
Absolutely LOVE Jodie Foster! She is so talented and gets more beautiful by the day! She seems so sweet and the kind of friend you would love to be around. I respect that she has kept her private life private and I’m happy for all of her successes. Love you so much, Jodie!
Jodie Foster is a class act. Loved her sinceI saw The Silence of the Lambs as a 13 year old in 1991. I will always watch anything she is in.
I’ve always loved Jody! I followed her in the 70s as a kid, and I only grew to respect her even more! I respect her privacy. Everybody deserves their own place of happiness! She’s a fine example of a very strong woman and mother! She has earned her spot in Hollywoods finest! ❤ We love you, Jody!
Jodie is so damn cool, and an absolute icon, a word that is thrown around too freely these days. If asked who I would want to have dinner and hang with, out of any living person, I think Jodie would be my answer. Such an inspiration and so much to learn from her.
Jodie Foster is an extraordinary actor. Her presence on screen is intense. She puts her all in every role she puts herself into. I love "The Accused", "Silence of the Lambs" and I also loved her in "Maverick".
She was so good in The Accused that it kind of traumatized me. She's incredible.
What was the one named after that lil son of hers called Tate. It was very moving.
Gosh, I forgot about Maverick...what a fun movie!
@@carenclemmons5002 "Little Man Tate", I think. It was her directing debut.
"The Little Girl Who Lives Down The Lane" (is that it?) was very good. 1970s.
Growing up I so looked forward to any Jodi Foster movie. Fantastic talent and just so real.
I’ve loved this woman since we were kids.
Me too!!!!😂

I’ve missed Jodie Foster! It was so good seeing her face again. Can’t wait to watch her series.
she was kind of absent for a while. Maybe raising her kids. ALWAYS wanted to see her again. I knew she'd impress.
I’m just glad her face still moves. When I saw her forehead move and wrinkles appear, my already high level of respect for her just shot up even higher. One of the best.
Jodie has such class! She is not in the least pretentious, which is sooo rare these days❤
I love Jodie Foster. She started so young and has worked with everyone in Hollywood. And she hasn't changed. No botox or fillers.
I fell in love with Jodie when I was 11 and saw Freaky Friday. Still love her 41 years later ❤
I _love_ that Jodie Foster is still killin it and making popular appearances like this. She's a legend and a role model of character for any of us.
The silence of the lambs is my favorite movie with her , she is one of the best actress ever , so amazing and talented

Mine was Stealing Home.
My fave is also silence of the lambs, but I also loved the little girl who lives down the lane. Great movie!
@@Lichan11 If you taste bitter almonds, don't swallow.
Silence of the Lambs was also my favourite...altho' I believe Anthony Hopkins stole the show there . I have to mention "Carnage". Jodie plus Winslet and Waltz, funny but actually had a serious message.
What I love is that she still looks like Jodie Foster. A beautiful person. Love her.
True story, my mother named me after the character Jodie Foster played on Kung Fu Theater, Alethia. She saw it when she was a teenager and decided that would be the name of her first daughter! I hated the name when I was young because it was always mispronounced, but I appreciate having an original naming story😊. Congratulations to Ms. Foster for all the hard work she put into having a successful career with longevity!

She is the perfect example of living healthy. She looks so good.
This is one of the smartest women in Hollywood, I think her IQ is somewhere in the 160s. She is so special, in everything she does. I will watch the new season.
I suspect that Jodie Foster is intelligent enough to know that there is no adequate test to measure intelligence. She probably has the knowledge and logical thinking to know that the IQ Test is inherently flawed in many ways, including that a measurement of intelligence can't be reduced to a single digit.

My very devoted dad took me to see every single film Jodie was in, when I was a child, apparently one year younger. Films with swoon-worthy Dean, too. Theyre the glue in my brain of childhood happiness, drowning out everything else. Thank you, Jodie.
I grew up with Jodie Foster, didn't get it when she was young, but as an adult she is Fricking amazing in everything. How do we love these people anymore?
All the best to Jodie Foster! One of my heros growing up (one of my best friends went to camp with her one summer, so I always believed she was a real person, hope that makes sense to folks) and she’s been through so much. So glad she’s happy. Always love to see her doing well.

well said. I enjoy fun movies, but too many Superhereo movies out there. Give us dramas about real, interesting lives. And put Jodie in them ! YAY
Jodie is awesome
what a freaking legend. beyond the incredible talent there's something I find deeply relatable about the way she acts around people. A little bit awkward in a really endearing way. Like you can tell she's a bit uncomfortable with all the attention when she's not playing a role. Another commenter described her as a "reluctant" star and that feels so spot on. A mark of someone who's really very humble and respectful, i just love her so much!
She said she's a huge introvert.
@@missdee4927 She didn't want to for so long, it was a huge thing when she finally addressed her private life on a talk show years ago.
John Hinkley made her life horrific when she was in college. It's no wonder she guards her privacy.
well said. She looked so shy when she came on stage to the standing ovation. Like a little embarrassed. Imagine that !
She just gets better as time goes by. I've always loved her depth and unique beayty aside from insane talent! I've been wanting to watch her show, this is my sign!
I love Jodie Foster. She's so natural and down to earth person. And she is, in my eyes, the best actress in the world.
You don't know many actresses then, do you? She is definitely not bad, but "the best in the world" is a stretch. Not to mention that two movies she was in, Flightplan and Panic Room, are two of the most stupid films ever made.
I grew up watching Jodie. Freaky Friday one of my favorite childhood movies.
Jodie Foster is class personified. One of Kimmel's best interviews.
ahhh jodie foster, she's a year older than me but still followed her movies like: napoleon and samantha, tom sawyer ... bugsy malone, little girl who lived down the lane ... one of my first loves at 8 years old ... today i see her and still see her smile that so enchanted me when "we' were young.
I love how she aged. She looks old, no plastic cirgury nor botox. And that is what makes her look real, human, great. ❤
I would say that she even looks 10 years younger than your average 60 year old woman and she didn't even use any plastic surgery...
Do your research. She has had plastic surgery. She hired a good plastic surgeon.
Oh please , get off her case .
I am 100% Team Jodie, but that is not how "old" looks. She looks considerably younger than her age, and if she's had surgical help with that, good on her for finding the right surgeon.
It's great to see Jodie, she means quite a bit to me as I grew up watching her movies. Contact had a huge impact on me as a teen and is in my top 10 favorite movies of all time. Anything Robert Zemeckis touched turned to gold. I loved astronomy and was a huge fan of Carl Sagan and of course the question of "are we alone in the universe?" is something I think everyone asks themselves. The scene where they are grilling her over her character not having proof of the alien contact made me cry when she explained she had an experience that she can't explain, it was so powerful, her acting in the scene... wow.
Love Jodie Foster for her soulful authenticity. Been waiting for the True Detective to be released!
Jan.14th on HBO Max!
She looks the same as when she was on the show, Courtship of Eddies Father. Anyone else remember that show?
This two time Oscar winning legend is in her element with thriller films and shows especially. Can’t wait to watch this season!
Her magnificent eyes are even more amazing when you think about the brain and the mind behind them....the intelligence, the presence, the intellect, the humor...I could go on and on. She is just one of kind...❤
