Yuccas grow slowly, often taking years to bloom. Some can live for hundreds of years.
Yuccas are popular in drought-tolerant landscaping.
Native Americans used yucca for its medicinal properties, treating headaches, skin conditions, arthritis, and joint pain.
The roots of some yucca species can be used to make natural soap.
