Thank you for the nice comment. I’m glad that you found this helpful! My intention is to just help some people out and save them some time and headache! :) A lot of us are working on similar projects so information sharing is very useful! After watching countless RUclips videos I figured I may as well contribute when I can.
Nice video. Have you ever measured how many gallons per minute you can draw using this HF pump? I have a similar setup and am currently using an inexpensive pump from amazon and have found that the actual gallons per minute is much lower than they claim. Am considering buying the HF pump as a replacement.
@@jimcrookston2776 I have not measured but I know it is more than my house’s well can pump, as I ran similar setup with my house well before buying the pump. Sorry I’m not more help!
@@dustyathome9824 No worries and thanks again for the video! The pump I bought says it can do over 20 gallons a minute but it's actually doing 8 gallons a minute (measured right at the outlet). I have 4 areas and just do them separately to avoid any issues.
@@jimcrookston2776 it’s been a while since I ran standalone swivel sprinklers but seems like my well was maxed out running 3 or better stated when I hooked up a 3rd sprinkler I saw a drop off. This pump can run 3-4 sprinklers without seeing a drop off. With walking sprinklers however, I do notice a slow down in speed each one I add but water spread/distance is fine on all.
The longest I have run it is probably 8 hours. I’d check a product listing/detail to find your answer, as I’m uncertain. For me, I would fear the foot valve getting clogged with muck and/or weeds over time and blocking water flow and then the pump getting damaged from loosing prime. However, I suspect this may not be a concern if you have cleaner water than I do and then it just comes down to if manufacturer designed it for continuous running and sorry but I do not have that answer.
I have 4 water sprinklers and use city water will this pump make my water sprinkler have more pressure, if i only have 2 run it does fine but not so much running 4 all all at one time
I empty the water from the hose and pump and store it inside in the winter when not in use. I have left it outside uncovered the rest of the time. It probably would last longer with a roof over it but I haven’t done that, yet anyways.
@dustyathome9824 can you tell me how you initially got this pump primed please? 🥺 I've got a inch intake hose direct to pump, everbilt 1inch foot valve at end it doesn't seem to suck any water. I've added water to the pump itself via the intake plug but it just pumps that water out and won't suck from hose. Any help would be appreciated 😊. Or maybe you can point me to a video that shows how to prime - thank you 🙏
What I do is fill the intake hose with water. Should be able to add water to the pump and slowly fill up the hose if it’s already connected and if intake hose is lower than the pump. Hope this helps.
@@manuelcepeda8954 I’m not certain but if I run it every couple days it doesn’t seem to do that. Friends have told me it should not do that but mine of course does. I assumed due to being a “cheaper” pump exposed to elements outside but really that’s just a hunch. I’ve never torn it apart to try to fix it or diagnose it.
We're I live there is no water however water pipe is about 200ft from my house is there any pump can suck the water from there in my home, I don't want to leave any pump on the road
Suggest turning playback speed to 2x in Settings.
This helped me out alot. I use irrigation water but the idea and how you implemented the hoses and the parts you used were very helpful.

How long can you let it run before having to shut it off?
Can it run indefinitely?

I’m doubtful it will help in this situation but I’m not certain.
I use mine to boost my city water pressure. You need a non kinking hose or it will collapse it
I am looking for something like this for a small flower garden. is this pump able to sit out in the weather for long periods of time?

Mine sits outside all summer

Sorry, I’m not sure.
Run some 1 inch schedule 40 PVC to the water source and put the pump next to your house/garage.
Can we see the foot valve
Yes at 1:58 minutes into the video and also linked to product in the description.
Nice job.
Thank you!
You did fine.
Thanks!
