Pete you and your wife are good people!! My niece was born at CHOP she was given a 1 percent chance to live but the Doctors and Staff there saved her life!! Keep on doing what your doing!!
Pete, I LOVE my yard and yard work, but I love humanity and Jesus even more. You’re a great guy and do great yard work. But your passion for doing what’s right is 3x’s more impressive. Keep up the good work. I also love that you’re not ashamed to declare your love for Christ. Be blessed brother.
Great thing about Lake water is it has Nitrates in it from the nitrogen cycle. That's assuming it's stocked with fish or aquatic life. I've considered pumping water from my 125gal fish tank in my basement office up to a storage tank in my front yard. I'm in a townhouse so it'd be enough for the small yard. Free nitrogen too, and cut back on my water use. Recycling the water and getting some dark green TTTF in the process. It's a future project.
Pete I know in my heart you're a good man I hit the thumbs up all the time. I don't understand why people are hitting the thumbs down.... they need to get their heart right check you later
Thank you for your video !! You do have a great well! We just installed our irrigation system just last weekend .... 16 zones with 4 heads on a zone with 2 gal nozzles.... my well is also 80 psi with the help of a franklin sub drive , and only 11 gallons a minute....the clock is a hunter Hydrawise that can be operated by my phone..... anyway thank you for all of your videos and keep em coming
Pete, thanks for sharing the story about your child and CHOP. I’m fortunate to live in the Philadelphia area because daughter needed to spend the first month of her life in CHOP. Best of luck with it all. I’ll pass the link onto everyone I know. Good luck with it all man.
My girlfriend's dad does the pump thing from the lake behind their house to water all of the plants her mother has around the property. I thought it was the coolest thing. Wish I had something like that here. We have a protected area behind out house, but i think they'd frown upon my draining it to water my lawn lol
love that you're helping familys and kids good luck God bless. kind of a dumb question... but We recently moved out of the city to a small town.We are just on well water. we have a decent amount of land almost four acres of just grass. Since we are on well, I feel like the larger sprinkler that I bought doesn't cover the ground like I expected to do. Is there a way to use this pump with a Regular garden hose??? or is that not possible?? 😬🤷♂️🤷♂️
I can vouch for the portable Utilitech pump. I'm watering a 15K property with one, using water from a stormwater pond. I can achieve a 25 ft. spray from a single sprinkler head 225 ft. uphill from the pond. I'm considering adding a second one midway to see if it will boost the pressure further and feed additional sprinklers.
Thank you Pete for being such an amazing inspiration to me. I absolutely love your videos and the lessons you teach are all God's word. Thanks again brother.
Hi Pete my tall fescue it wasn’t doing very well through the summer I found 16 1616 fertilizer in my garage I apply it about a month ago I reapplied new seed and now its beautiful deep green thank you for all your videos God bless you and your family
Not splitting hairs here, but the swamp water is not “free”. Anytime you move water from here to there, a pump is needed. Gas/ diesel or electric driven pumps are the only options and fuel/electric means $$ gets put out. Your just paying a fuel bill instead of the town water dept.. Great video of a booster pump install.
Also, I'm confused by how you're using this. You have a well. You must already have already have a well pump. Why not just get a better well pump and create a separate zone for this plot. How are you adding this pump to your existing well pump setup?
Hi pete,. What model is that water pump. I like to try that route to cover all my lawn. Thanks in advance. By the way, are you supplying the pump from the municipal water or something?
Hey Pete, I have a half acer (front and back). I bought 4 impact sprinklers for front and 4 for the back. I would like to run 2 impact sprinklers at a time in the front (zone 1) then the other two (zone 2). Issue is my outside water source just don’t have enough power to help my sprinklers really kick water. My water source is my house. No well or lake. I’m just trying to get ideas to make this watering thing a little more friendly. Thanks for any advice.
When the water timer isn't running and the sprinklers aren't on their schedule, does the pump shut off when it's not needing to pressurize or is it continuously running once that switch is turned on until you turn it off?
Everyone needs to get out and vote for a candidate that will make healthcare free at the point of need. No one who is sick should have to worry about this. It's great that you are doing this but the system is broken and needs to be fixed and value human life.
I've always had oscillating but do you get even coverage with these? At first glance, it appears you'd get more at the end than say, a foot from the sprinkler. Not to mention, you're watering in a circle. No issues?
@@GCITurf You had it right the first time Pete, 33' radius / 66' diameter. I've measured mine at 40' radius making an 80' diameter circle. I hope to shake your hand this week at GIE.
GCI Turf Services: I run two 2gpm on one hose. 5gpm is about all a residential hose bib can handle and still have 45+psi at the sprinkler to drive it properly.
Hey Pete, I have a question for ya. I had my grass seed come up but when that little heat wave hit. Got some brown patch in the the baby grass. I've cut the grass a couple times but I'm wondering if I can do a disease app on the new grass seed or will it hurt it? It's looking kinda bad. Pretty yellowish brown.
Yes you can as Mr Pete has said. Propiconizole specifically states that it can aid in seedling development when treating seedlings after two blades emerge. I always use this technique because of disease potential here in Cincinnati when reseeding
Love your videos Pete! Love them more you guys are charitable people! Just signed up on smile.amazon-team jaxx to help out. We spend about $5,000 on there annually so hope that helps buddy! Keep on doing the good Lord's work and God Bless you and your family!
You're not creating higher pressure with the pump, but instead creating a higher flow. Pressure is the restriction of flow. This is why when setting up irrigation you need to know what kind of flow rate you have, so when you spec your sprinkler heads and nozzles you can stay under your maximum flow rate.
J M looks like a chickweed to me. Either way, some post emergent broadleaf herbicide should kill it I believe. Triplet SF should do the trick. I bet even a spray at your local big box store would do it as long as the main ingredient is 2-4d. I’ve used Weed B Gon with some success. Probably wouldn’t be the best if you have a lot. If you have a lot, I’d probably go with a more commercial herbicide like Triplet.
there are not many things on Earth more noble than helping kids and their families
My wife and i have a very strong desire to do this...

Perfect timing, Pete!! About to hook up a pump from my pond. Looking forward to your Mac Daddy pump video!
Awesome tip on using a splitter to run to hoses to a sprinkler to get more coverage. Dang, so simple yet effective.

Would it be too noisy? Too distracting?
Team Jaxx. You got it. Maybe one day I will see you when you come back to Philadelphia.

Interesting concept. Might have to try this.
I’ve been waiting for a vid like this. Can’t wait. Thanks man!
Will this pump pull from a water tank and then discharge. Or is it like an injector and you gotta push water to it????
Hi Pete will it work if I
connect one of these to the main
Love your passion for giving!
What’s the best way to store extra grass seed?
Need to dig a well and use a pump!
Appreciate you for all you do.
Nice video Pete! I needed this! What number tips do you put in those pop up heads? Did you say # 3 and 5?
3, 5 and a 3 on the end.
Hey Pete is this one thing that runs in conjunction will my submersible well pump running as well?
Yes
Im gonna use jax for my prime account but what exactly happened? Is jax the one that was helping you and the wife in the garden earlier this year?
My well puts out 7 gal a min with refill of 1.5 gall and 40-60 psi any suggestions?
Thanks for this video.
How does the inlet hose not collapse from pressure? Thanks
Always good tips. Thanks!
Pete can the pump be used at a home with less than optimal water pressure? I dont have a well or lake.
Janine A. Yes. You’ll have to compare the specs of the pump vs your water and make sure it’s compatible
You made a awesome video
I've always had oscillating but do you get even coverage with these? At first glance, it appears you'd get more at the end than say, a foot from the sprinkler. Not to mention, you're watering in a circle. No issues?
I was thinking same thing, looks like alot is getting missed
If the electric pump is pulling water faster than the well pump can replenish it, will it hurt the well pump?
Michael Russell probably so. Your water source should produce a little more water than the pump I would imagine
I like you Pete. Enjoy watching your videos and thank you for the knowledge as it's helped me a lot. Bless you and yours.
Shoot me a link for the sprinklers in this video.
Can it be connected to a regular hose connection on a baseball field
Could you hook that pump up to a a hose that hooks up to the house that runs off city water?? Or is it ment for lake, pond, or river water?
Colin Clennon use with any water source
Hi! Hope all is well! Any issues hooking this up to the hose from the house? About to go out today to buy this (or similar) pump! Lol
Hi Mr. Pete! If someone could please let me know if I could use this with my 5/8 hoses from my outdoor faucet to water my lawn with a sprinkler?
Bayou Fishing Bengal I’m sure it will work with that
God bless you and your family Pete! Great video also.
