    What's the name of the routine/form (or the routine the individual performances are based on) ?

      This is Contemporary and Optional, which means each form is designed by the athlete and the coach to showcase their skill. I believe contemporary Nanquan is derived from the five southern families, as well as some more acrobatic movement to show athleticism.

    This is not martial arts this is martial dancing, acrobatics and falling with style... how does any of this relate to physical combat?

    • @shuise
      @shuise 5 месяцев назад +1

    "Northern Fist" style is to rough for women to learn.

    • @makkiyaibu3905
      @makkiyaibu3905 5 лет назад +3

      What do you mean "to rough " , i know its considerd as more manly routine cause of the screams , and how much they jump or do other stuff but it doesn't mean its to rough for women , heck there's a even girls as young as eight can get a gold medal from this routine . There should be no borderline for women routines

      Tf u mean bro? Southern style is definitely more "rough"
