I would prep the bottom when i was subbing the tumbler and do at the same time, then bottom wouldnt shift doing it like this either it would stay in place
I did my first tumbler after watching your video. I left in in until the press beeped which was just over 2:30 minutes then turned the tumbler and flipped. It worked great. Maybe the logo would work like you said on the outer rim of the bottom. And do it when you do the whole tumbler. Thanks for sharing!
Can you do a video from start to finish with decal design and what type of material you use for the photo transfer on tumbler, please. Thank you for your video! Love it!
Thank you so much! Yes, I agree with the uneven pressure. I'm working on different ways to make this process easier and successful for those that want to add something to the bottom of their items.
@@SheeshSoCraftyLLC I like your attitude- everybody's having debates about cricut mug press but you are focusing on solutions! Love the positive energy. Also, check out Angie Holden's video- she has found more mugs & tumblers you can use with the mug press!

I wonder if it would sublimate more evenly if you used a thick book instead of a hot pad to press the tumbler. Might distribute the weight of you pressing down differently.
Yes I did 2 out of the 3 pictured on the Cricut Mug press! Check out my other video for the full breakdown on how I sublimated them. Be sure to like the video and subscribe to my channel for more videos coming soon!
great video!! You may want to try to use a heavy book over the tumbler bc your hand may have shifted the weight. If not a book maybe something a little bit with weight content..just suggestion. You sound like an experienced You tuner! Congrats 👏. You have a new subie.
Thank you so much for subscribing! I will be trying out the book method along with a few other methods suggested. Thank you for your suggestion! I appreciate the positive feedback.
Great idea! I just think with closing it, it makes the tumbler shift slightly off of the plate and may not work. However, I will definitely try that out next and post a review with all the suggestions and how well they worked!
I think you aren’t getting good contact bc you put it in the recessed area. I would place it on the outer, raised edge and try holding it against the top platen of your regular heat press or an Easy Press. I subbed to your channel! You have great presentation skills and I look forward to watching your channel grow. You might want to turn your tablet sideways, to give a widescreen view that will fit a phone and monitor screen better. You’re gonna do great!
I would try it at the same time as subbing the tumbler. I think that would work out better.

I would have never thought to do this. Thank you for sharing this idea.

Mama Cherry you are absolutely welcome! I'm glad you find my video to be of some help and that you had much success with sublimating a tumbler 💜
Very helpful on showing the Cricut logo on the bottom of the mug 😊 - I know not to but the Cricut mugs now ✌🏻😁
I'm happy this video was able to help you!
Wow. This will work! Amazing! Just press really long.
Thank you for doing this i am still waiting for my press to come in!
I will try when I sub my mug all at the same time.Thank you for sharing.
Sounds great!

Yes, I will post a step by step on how to design the decal to sublimating the tumbler soon.
Hello, great video. I’m glad I found you. I am now a subscriber to your channel, can’t wait to watch more videos. Thank You 😊
Thank you Patty! I appreciate the support and will be sure to post more videos.
Nice attempt. I fear that the issue is uneven pressure on the bottom which may result in mixed results. I love your tumblers. Very pretty.
Thank you so much! Yes, I agree with the uneven pressure. I'm working on different ways to make this process easier and successful for those that want to add something to the bottom of their items.
Try wrapping a brick with something to protect your tumblers and use that to put downward pressure while heating
You can also use the mini easy press for the bottom.
That's a great idea! I may have to purchase one to try it out.
I was thinking the same thing. I might just try this today😁
Thank you for sharing your ideas !!!
You're welcome!
Thanks for trying & sharing. I’m going to try it on my next mug.
Yes I definitely say give it a try! It doesnt hurt to try everything out at least once.

Try using shrinkwrap to hold the label in place.
Yes I'll be trying shrink wrap and the silicone wraps in a video coming this week. Be sure to subscribe for more videos coming soon!
Great idea
I was able to get the label of of the mugs I purchased with 91% isopropyl alcohol!
I'll have to try this as well! Thank you for letting me know!
Thanks for sharing... can you do a car air freshener video pls?
Thanks

Was the bottom blank? How do you remove writings from the bottom and then add your logo? Thanks for your help 🤩👏👏😎
The bottoms were blank when purchased.
Thanks for sharing the knowledge. 😁😁
You're welcome!
Thanks for sharing! I tried this on a ceramic mug today and it wiped right off. So not sure if the ones I have aren’t coated on the bottom 🤷🏾♀️
That could be the reason. I'm going to try again and post a follow up video in a few days if the results change.
@@SheeshSoCraftyLLC I have not tried a stainless yet though.... I just snatched your video and I’m going to try it today.

Great idea! I will use this way on my next try. Thank you!
What about putting mugs upside down on a table and balance your regular heat press at 400.
Hmmm I never thought of that. I may have to give that a try. Thank you!
Did you do the tall tumbler in the Press too??

Would love to know which vendor on Amazon you use for your mugs
I believe that info is posted in the description. Please refer to there for the direct link.
I was told the bottom doesn't have a heat element. It's just there to keep the cup steady.
Aww that could be why it didn't work as well but I figured I would at least try since so many people had asked me.
I wanted it to work too.😢
@@wileycovington4497 I know me too! I'll try again and if it works, I'll post a video on my update. I hope it does 🤞🏾

Can you do the bottom logo first and close it to hold in place and then do the sides next?

Thanks you for your video! What type of sublimation printer do you have you?
Epson ET2720
What kind of paper are you using for sublimation and which printer are you using?
Epson ET2720 and A-sub Eco paper

I’m wondering if putting pressure on the bottom plate, will it damage the bottom plate.
I surely hope not.
Thank you!
You're welcome!
Maybe if you subbed the bottom at the same time as the rest of the tumbler.
Thanks for trying
Put a weight on it so you don't have to hold the tumbler down.
TFS👍🏽

Did you know you can remove the metal plate on the bottom of the tumbler, t then replace it if needed.
