Great, very informative. Lots of professionalism to take onboard there, surprised the seat safety pins were removed whilst still under the shed though!
"surprised the seat safety pins were removed whilst still under the shed though!" ... my thoughts exactly! I've seen the results of an inadvertent ejection accident in a confined space and it wasn't a good outcome.
@IIproductionsII You can learn them all in a day using mock-ups called cockpit procedural trainers pretty comfortably, but you need to invest a lot more time to make sure you can pull them out under pressure. I like to go through them every morning to keep it fresh.
nice checks .. diffrent checks than what we have in KSA .. but its cool .. i can see a very clearly the safety drill with the crew chif nice :) .. finally the checks should be readed from the FCC .. have a safe and nice flight
@jpicard That was you who filmed this? If so, beautifully shot - very comprehensive and I'm sure its not easy to get such great footage whilst actually carrying out the checks yourself. Was this used for 2FTS coursework or purely for your own collection?
great ,entertaining video & excellent basis for a video tutorial.However.. as I once said to somebody else,of similar production,is it 'too much(freely available) information'?..back in 89,two young blokes from Lucknow near Orange attempted to take the Electricity Commission Jetranger for a joyride with fatal results for one of them after[allegedly] watching a movie somehow showing start sequence for the jetranger. Maybe iclude a footnote "NOT TO REPLACE ADEQUATE FLIGHT INSTRUCTION!"
Indeed you would be correct in what you are saying if that was the case but in all honesty I don't go around digging up year old comments just for 'correcting' someone. I just happen to be on the page at the time & thought I'd comment..I am entitled to do that aren't I ?... I'm not really going to lose any sleep whether they read my comment or not....cheers
you are aware that the pc9 is NOT the only aircraft inthe world with a Pratt & Whitney PT6A-62 engine in it & having worked on them I'm fully aware of the security measures employed at military & civilian contract bases...by all this I'm saying that there are aircraft out there that use similar starting procedures & operational parameters so it doesn't need to be a military base for what you're saying to happen..& there are people out there foolish enough to do it..just my thoughts
@jpicard yes this has been cleared for public release by 2FTS. Pilots that are between BFTS and 2FTS can use it to maintain their skills.
will there be a realse for the PC-21

It’s not a 0,0 seat, so you’d be up sh!t creek anyway

Wow, I'm amazed by how similar the procedures are to the PC-12
is that the door handle from a 80s golf?
I enjoyed this video a lot and I simply love the PC-9!
I love the auto info announcement: “Runway 18, wind 180, 18 knots....”! Funny!
Miss U "Aladdin 511"when I had trained to be the QFI class 115 at RAAF, East Sale AFB, 1993

@RHINOneSeven This is used coursework, and still currently is. I did the same for 79 SQN Hawks. Its part of many clips used for pilot training.
The right canopy handle at 3:26 is awesome xD
Wondering if that’s the best place to be removing the ejection pin.
I created my FSX PC-9/A Startup checklist off of this :)
Me too! :'D. Mine was the IRIS Pro training series! Yours?
Damn sticky park brake ;) Nicely done.
Thankks for the video! :D
your welcome

Thanks. It’s my footage and it took a few goes to get a god take 😊
Any chance to get more videos of this amazing aircraft?
This actually made my day!
awesome video!
Listen to the ATIS, it's RAAF Base Pearce
Love this video! any more like this?

World’s longest checklist. Lucky that military never has to do anything in a hurry.
Awesome. The in cockpit Voice sounds like a Telstra announce lol😎😎😎🤣🤣🤣
My father RIP 😔 was a pilot in the Iraqi army ... I remember he was mentioning pc 9
@cyclistpilot Yea because someone is just gonna wander into a RAAF base and just start up a pc-9 and take it for a cruise...
@aussiepride2005 best asking the official channels if they want to post that. I do not have that authority.
makes me want to fly...too bad flight lessons are so expensive..
love it - thanks for this
U definitely wouldn’t want to be in a hurry

Thanks a bundle for sharing!!!! ^_^
@jpicard By 'crown' he must mean 'gouge'.
Love these preflight vids, if anyone knows of anymore can you link them here please?
@jpicard its all property of the crown, they can do whatever they want with the footage :)
Its great, think of new one with better quality
@aussiepride2005 as soon as they ask me to
love it :D
the pilot's salute is an American "gung ho" thing, our pilots would get a friendly wave.
aweeeeeesome!
guessing this is pearce airbase
Handler Jack turned into Handler Phil.
@IIproductionsII If your a genius? Then the time it took you to watch the video once through.
just WOW
It must have been the ground crews first launch, talk about going overboard with the "all clear" to start and taxi.
One day rooster one day it will happen you will fly.
swiss aircraft :D
its the roullets
Un avión ya obsoleto ,mil veces los aviones Texas 2. Y el súper Tucano.

Ah, RAAFIE checks, way over the top!
cool video but one thing, "if you can't hover, don't bother!" :-P
