I think he uses Space Engine on Steam to make parts of his video, which is an amazing program that has large amounts of the galaxy simulated. Its not updated anymore but if you enjoy just chilling in space its a great buy.
This will end up, over the long term, being a highly viewed video. Triangulum is one of those things that I'd look up but wouldn't have good, clear explanations to find; just a bunch of data and pictures. Thanks for making this to finally change that
Yes, this video has no parallel anywhere on RUclips. I’ve watched it at least 20 times myself and told my astronomy groups about it. There’s a lot of stuff in here I’ve never even heard before or read about. Fantastic video.
The Triangulum is my personal favorite galaxy as it is far more colorful and more beautiful than many other galaxies in my opinion and I feel as though it isn’t mentioned near as much as the andromeda even though it should be
@@Gregg69420 I've always been fascinated by it because the milky way and andromeda pull in all the attention because of their sizes. In reality, the local group will eventually be a single galaxy containing both of them AND Triangulum, so I think all three galaxies are really just the fetal phases of the massive super galaxy that our distant descendants will inherit
Wow, latest SEA video! Mate, I've watched your videos over and over for months now. They are the most interesting thing on RUclips by a mile! Keep up the amazing work and would love to see you making full documentaries for Netflix...etc one day.
Glad you enjoyed it! I promise I won’t overuse this tour formula, I just felt there hadn’t been enough cover for M-33! But I won’t start spamming content like that
@@SEA I think the format works great in highlighting the unique aspects of the astronomical bodies. The size of Andromeda and it’s fated collision with the Milky Way; M-33 and it’s intense star-forming regions and small galactic nuclei. With proper spacing (pun intended) I’m sure the audience would look forward to seeing one every 6 months to a year, time and engagement permitting. Thank you for your response and tremendous work!
I have been watching Space videos every night at bed time for over 10 years and your videos are unparalleled and in a league of their own. Your videos are the most anticipated of all my subs. Thank you!
10 years…that’s impressive. Are you of study or just that obsessed with the cosmos? Not judging either because I can see myself in 10 years watching this channel lol
@Kyle Kamins Personally, I enjoy this type of content when I’m trying to fall asleep. It gets the mind going and puts it in a great state for wild dreams… I absolutely recommend trying this out!
This Video introduced me to your channel a year ago and it has no peers on RUclips! I was looking for something that would help me break down M33 when I show my images of the Galaxy to my friends and family! It’s fantastic work as well as your work on M31! Great job! Cheers!
So glad you enjoyed it! I also make these productions so I can research a complete “under the hood” piece about objects like M33 where there’s lots of contrasting pieces of information. So if it helps you then it’s achieved its endeavour! And thank you so much for the donation as well 🙏💙
Haven’t even watched it yet and I’m already here to call it brilliant. Turn this on when you turn the lights out and it’s the next best thing to being there. Great work, SEA.
Legitimately the best video ever on The Triangulum Galaxy, bar none. Well done. Any chance of a future video about the local group. Appreciate the hustle and grind you and your team put in everyday. Mad respect
The Triangulum Galaxy is like the Luigi of Mario, it's the brother galaxy that is never talked about much unlike the Milky Way and Andromeda. But it is also the only other large galaxy that will merge and it has a lot of cool stuff about it that is overlooked. Thanks for uploading a video on this and more underrated aspects of the Universe.
I absolutely love the content you present to us! Always paced perfectly, full of information presented in text and speech throughout the video. Thank you to everyone who works on these videos!
One phenomenally clear night in early autumn 2014, I spotted galaxy M 33 by naked eye at a reasonably dark-sky site. To confirm it, I looked for open cluster NGC 752 nearby. There it was too! Have not seen such a clear night since.
I'm so happy you made a video about this beautiful not enough talked about galaxy! When you made the one for Andromeda, i was hoping someday you'd make one for Triangulum. Once again, outstanding work!
Another excellent video. Of all the challenging concepts, I think the whole idea of passing galaxies that don't involved colliding stars is the hardest perspective. We see these galaxies as small, compact objects that seem to have its galactic star population all crammed together. Then contrasting angular size with cosmic distances one can get a better appreciation for the space between the stars. But it is a hard thing to picture. You do a great job making it possible to imagine.
Excellent as always. I love the clear, unhurried descriptions without the overly-flashy effects and overly-loud background music like some other channels/shows. You're a youtube treasure buddy.
I remember ALL THE WAY BACK with the GD DOCUMENTARIES MAN!! It’s SO cool to see how far your channel has grown since that day you made the decision to change your content away from that. I don’t know if you will see this but being a childhood idol it’s just overall a really cool experience
