  • Here is John Piant in BIGFOOT #4 and Jim Kramer in the new (at the time) BIGFOOT #9 performing at the Bloomsburg, PA Summer Jamboree on July 27 and 28, 1990. Both drivers pushed their respective trucks and both drivers may have pushed just a little too hard. Watch to see what happens.

    Both trucks are amazing. I’m amazed how Bigfoot 4 can still fly as high as Bigfoot 9

      Yeah, it does but I also enjoyed #8 and 9s muffler sound too.

    • @nathanmcdonald610
      @nathanmcdonald610 4 года назад +4

      #8 and #9 were using mufflers at this time. #4 was open header, thus much louder and aggressive sounding.

    Bigfoot 9 is basically the grandfather of what we have today. I believe Bob Chandler said that they wanted to disqualify him because nobody could keep up with his truck.

      That was 8. But they were identical. 9 is probably being parted out in Brazil. They lost in in Brazil and a few videos have popped up of it being used. It’s running horridly.

      As in it got stolen down there?

    • @TheDarkLordLink
      @TheDarkLordLink 5 лет назад +1

      @@huntersagoon More or less. 9 was "confiscated" by the Brazilian customs. Can't believe they got away with it, too.

    • @moonlightshade00
      @moonlightshade00 5 лет назад +1

      @@FordFan01 Its still in use by a Brazilian company or government, They have repainted it multiple times and changed it names just as many. Still pretty pathetic of the Brazilian Government not to give #9 back to it's rightful owner.

    • @Ronsmytheiii

      Dark Lord Link latest update on 9 was that the company that ran it down in Brazil dropped the frame into traffic and totaled the truck.

    From all the videos I have watched and the stories I've read I wonder if Bigfoot was Bobs nickname then Jim should of been Leadfoot. He always smashed the throttle.

      Bigfoot #9, it was an even lighter version of #8 and I think the lightest Bigfoot truck there's ever been to date, if I remember correctly, it was slightly less than 10,000 lbs which is what #8 was spec'd at.

    • @waynenorbreyjr9371
      @waynenorbreyjr9371 4 года назад +1

      Nope, it's #9, Bigfoot #8 was already out and #9 was similar, but had a few extra tricks to it.
