Do you have to keep it in the fridge until use? I’ve seen some make multiple bars at once and keep it in a cool/dry place and some make only one bar at a time and say it needs to be kept refrigerated
Hey I love that you’re making soap! But I do have to just say that adding milk to an already completed soap base is not okay. It’ll become rancid! Think about it like adding raw eggs to an already bake cake. If you really want to add milk to a soap, I recommend that you dabble in Cold Process soap making. This actually allows the milk to soponify (soap). Good luck y’all ❤️❤️❤️
I can’t do it this way my baby’s eczema so bad I can’t use soap at all. Water alone dries him out. I’m trying to find a recipe that doesn’t include anything that will irritate his skin further. I’m planning to use breastmilk, aloe and oatmeal. I’m not sure how it will bind together for a mold though. If anyone sees this in the next week..

You should be able to thaw it out before you use it. But I’m not completely sure. Maybe do a quick google search

How long can you store breast milk in the fridge before you make the soap?
Up to 4 days, then after that it needs to go in the freezer up to 6 mo at best. 12 mo is the longest it can be in the freezer

This helped my daughter with her eczema flat ups tubbytodd.com/products/all-over-ointment-page-non-otc
Just add the breast milk directly to the bath water.
