He’s so cute!!! I miss those days. My husband and I have been together since 9th grade and our children are grown. They still live at home and I don’t mind to be honest. I still see them as babies. My oldest when he was 20 years old my husband left him in the car and went in the store. And he called me n I said “ where’s Todd?” He said Jenn, he’s in the car.” I yelled at him and said why would u leave him alone in the car?!” And my husband said “ I love u and I feel I need to do this.” And he hung up on me lol he did lol. Now they are 27 years old,21 years old and 18 almost 19 years old. I miss them being babies. U are enjoying every minute with him being a baby and I am so happy because before u know it they will be 27 years old. But u will always see him as that little guy. Xoxo
I've made breastmilk soap for my kids a few times before! And girl I feel ya. I was blessed to have the easiest nursing journey with my first three. This time has been more stressful. Endless spitting up, getting gerd medication, now struggling with weight gain. Lots of tears and stress, so sending you lots of love on that front ❤
What a lovely idea for a soap and congratulations, he is beautiful. I sympathise with you on the breast feeding, I found it really hard with my Son and wasn't able to with my Daughter as she had to be tube fed due to being premature. This is such a special soap and it is going to be so wonderful for his skin :-)
I'm so glad you put more pics at the end. He is so sweet. In French..chalet de savon is Soap Cottage. You cold even call it Soap Chalet. Just a thought. If you are going to start saving little mementos for him, you should put one of those aside as well.
Enhorabuena, por el nacimiento de tu hermoso bebé. En España decimos a los papas "salud para criarlo". Y a el bebé se le desea, que se crie con salud. Muchas felicidades, haceis una hermosa familia..🤗😊🌷💜
My twin had a second baby late July, and lactation specialist didn't say anything about tongue tie until we mentioned it (her first born also had it, so we were on the lookout). Turns out she was forbidden to say anything by the hospital. Baby had it corrected on day 7 I think, but she was bottle fed until then (sis would pump the milk and I would feed the baby). Kid is still breastfed, sis plans to keep at it until a year old, but only via bottle (Mom loves her Elvie wireless pumps).
Wow that’s weird. I was mad no one checked him for it. I saw to lactation specialists at the hospital. We struggled for 3 weeks before I figured it out. Wish I had the elvie pumps. They’re pricey lol
@@LunaFaeCreations Yeah, hospitals don't want you to know about tongue ties for some reason. That baby book/ packet she got in hospital: never mentioned it! And I read the whole thing, cover to cover. Oh, they are pricey, that's for sure, but she loves them (I guess insurance paid half the price?), and she did have the old Mendela? one as backup. You son is OK now, that's all it matters, and you'll know to share the wisdom to your friends/family members. Greetings to your beautiful family.
I know someone who had to pump exclusively so she could feed her daughter beast milk. But you know what, you do what makes you feel good and don't let anyone tell you what's best because they don't know. Believe in yourself :)
People just assume "oh, you're a woman with breasts, breastfeeding is a given and just second nature!!" It wasn't for me, I gave up after 3 weeks of hell lol. My wee lad just couldn't take to it at all and it added so much stress to an already very traumatic natural birth. Against all advice I put him on the bottle and he thrived. I was bitterly disappointed but I just wanted to enjoy him, not have a constant battle. Best of luck to you 😊 He's delicious!!
@@LunaFaeCreations Absolutely do not put the pressure on yourself and feel like you're not doing a good job. You're doing a MARVELOUS job, look what your body created 😊 An absolute miracle. As far as I'm concerned, theres far too much pressure put on Mums to breastfeed, and it's HARD work, it doesn't come naturally to all of us. Don't be too hard on yourself 😊
After hearing your breastfeeding story I wanted to tell you to look into Treeofhopecreations on Etsy she makes beautiful mom & baby wood pieces using breast milk.
Oh girl, Sorry the breast feeding has gone so bad for you. Don't give up, keep on trying. Remember to relax. It will come, I promise. I never had an issue, but my sister did! I breast feed 5 of my 7, not a bad ratio, lol! I was young when I had my first, he was over 10 pounds and broke his arm in delivery. My other is a step child so no go there, lol! Love this! So many amazing uses for breast milk! I wish women were more informed about this amazing liquid we make with our own bodies! ❤

Those pictures were just so stinking cute. I lived the Harry Potter with the giant smile.
Will you share the measurements? 🙂 Been looking for a recipe for my milk, I don't have a deep freezer and an running out of space
How much lye do you add to how many ounces of the milk?
Adorable baby pictures! He's so precious. I love that you used breast milk for the soap. It's going to be so good for your baby skin.
I hope this time around I can make enough milk for soap!! 💜 Beautiful!! 🥰
Good job Momma! He's gorgeous 😍 I had nursing issues as well with my first. It went great for the next 3 😜

BABIES ARE EVERYTHING 🥰❤️. He's adorable! Call it The She Shed Soapery 😄
What if you already defrosted the milk in the fridge? Can you still use it for soap?
Not as a full replacement of your water. It would heat up too quickly
@@LunaFaeCreations that makes me sad 🥺 it was the very last of my milk before I dried up
You can still use it but not as much. Soap at room temperature and add it to the oils
Can you do a detailed video of ingredients , measurements and steps please
can you post the recipe you used without the palm oil?
What's the recepie
I hope you try some home made lotions and potions for the skin to with the breastmilk I'm sure it would help

Very cute baby! How much lye did you add as a how much breast milk
Hi , What did you put on your breast milk to make it melt?
Sodium hydroxide lye is what’s used to make cold process soap. It heats up when it interacts with moisture.
People just assume "oh, you're a woman with breasts, breastfeeding is a given and just second nature!!"

It’s not easy. I do my best with it and try not to beat myself up too much. Mentally and physically it can take it’s toll.
