    Check out Tom Sawyer's RV Park along the Mississippi River. Very nice, clean, quiet, laid back, well-kept park. Watch the barges go by and walk the trails. We go to Beale Street in Memphis, TN which is less than 20 minutes away. Graceland is less than 30 minutes away. Report Card included at end.

    Love your review, Excellent! 👏. Especially love the walking trails- can ride my E Trike, the free laundry, proximity to Memphis, and could do some fishing too! Been saying I wanted to get an RV- and now I know of a place I could place it! Just spoke to my daughter and Yes we can rent one next year for 2 or 3 nights! My grandson would be So excited with a Cab Over bed! Thank you. 👍♥️

    We have stayed there twice and loved the park. One thing I don't recall you mentioning is that all their out buildings are on wheels so they can be pulled out in the event of flooding. Did you get a chance to visit the Bass Pro Shop in the pyramid? That is a must see destination. Also Sun Records tour was outstanding.

    Looked like a nice campground. Close to Memphis is great. Where are all the tourist? It's nice not having all those people but man town looked empty. How's your new brakes doing? Stay safe.

      The Covid thing has really effected Beale Street. Might have been better at night, but almost creepy quiet during the day. Brakes are good so far. :)

    We went out of our way to check out this campground, we called ahead and asked if we could drive thru and look at the sites, I was told yes…..
    We arrived, spoke to the lady at the office, who gave us a map and assured us it was fine to drive around and look at sites. While doing so a very rude park employee made a point of telling us that being in the park without a pass was a 50 dollar fine. We told him that we stopped and asked permission from the woman at the office, he was kind enough to tell us he would “ let it slide”
    I will never stay here upon being treated so rudely, I understand he was doing his job, but he did not need to be so horribly rude

    How hard is it to find parks that will accept rigs the size of yours. How hard is it to find parks which earn an A grade?

    • @WattsOnWheels
      @WattsOnWheels  3 года назад

      We usually don't have any problems finding parks that will accept us because if the sites aren't long enough, they have us park the truck in another area. However, the roads may be narrow or have low trees. We have to look on Google Earth to try and determine that. But so far, we haven't had any major issues in almost 3 years. Grade A seems almost impossible. Our B is probably more like most people's A. Don't recall finding an A yet.

    • @WattsOnWheels
      @WattsOnWheels  3 года назад

      It's just having fun. We live in Georgia and my mother was born in North Carolina, so I know what the accent sounds like. Will say that I know some Georgians that I truely cannot understand hardly a word they say. Sorry if you were offended. Our British accent is even worse.
