I've heard a lot about Memphis, Tennessee even though I've never ever visited the city, Memphis will always be the city for music. Each cities has their own collection of activities and things to do around the city. Overall the video is absolutely outstanding and awesome places to visit. Dr King has a great respect and admiration for Mahatma Gandhi especially the moments for fighting independence.

15:34 actually The Civil Rights Museum is open 6 days a week; Closed Tuesdays. Also Beale Street doesn’t always have a cover. Typically weekends and busy nights otherwise you’re good. Or get there early.

Bass Pro Pyramid: Houses Ducks Unlimited museum as well. Hunting and Fishing seasons in the US have strict limits that help species survive and are modified year to year as necessary to the animals and environment. Hunting & fishing licenses fund preservation of natural habitats. 66% of people who live in the city of Memphis are below poverty level and may never have been able to afford to go to a wild area, and maybe they aren't off work on Tuesday at 3pm to go to the zoo on free day. Additionally, Bass Pro, Cabela's, hunting & fishing - it's all totally a thing and there are other Bass Pros like this, I'm thinking particularly of the one in Grapevine, TX but there are many. Thanks for visiting Memphis!

Mud Island River Park: It's actually a scale model of the Mississippi River from its tributaries to the Gulf of Mexico with the streets of the river towns inlaid along the banks. The water level in the model reflects the current river level. It overlooks the Mississippi River. You can get to it on foot on the bridge over the monorail.

Don’t venture off too far from Beale st. Like anywhere else be vigilant. Gang activity there is BAD. Also lots of panhandling. There are a couple of tours you can choose from. I’ll be there late September. Been there 6 times. First time in 87. (blues musician) Check out, Schwab store, and Bass pyramid. Also Sun records

I live downtown and it is very walkable if you stay between Riverside (west), BB King (east), GE Patterson (south) and Poplar (north)! The trolly system isn’t very quick but it’s cheap and lovely - lots of electric scooters around too. Lyft and Uber are easy to use and there are lots of neighborhoods within a few miles’ drive that are definitely worth exploring: Cooper-Young, Overton Square, Broad Ave Arts District and South Main Arts District (which is technically downtown but its own district). Happy travels!!

Yep. I don’t promote animal exploitation/mistreatment as a form of entertainment. Horses are forced to work thru all types of weather and carry all types of passengers, even during sweltering summers.
