Have you been to Memphis?! If so, whats your favorite thing to do, see or eat there? If you haven't been... which activity from this video would you be most down to try?!
As a local, I would say to make sure to check out the Crosstown Concourse for dinner and walk around. There are a lot of good restaurants, ice cream, art galleries, and coffee shops. It’s just a place with an overall great vibe.
I miss Memphis, I lived there for a couple of years. It’s really a hidden gem, there’s so much to it that people don’t realize. Crosstown concourse is really cool, there are a number of museums, and there’s always a festival, oh and mud island is great for a walk.
Let me just say that I love watching y’all’s adventures! ❤️ As a Memphis local, I can say this is a great start! Some other places to check out would be the midtown area with Overton Square and the Zoo. (With the Pandas). Some classic downtown restaurants are McEwens, Flight, and Texas de Brazil. In addition, East Memphis has some great food choices. (Corky’s BBQ is a favorite). Thank you again for another great video!
We visited Memphis 4 years ago, our favorite was Graceland (of course), as well as Sun Studios and civil rights museum. We loved the BBQ at Rendezvous, and very much enjoyed dinner at Marlowe’s, especially being picked up in a pink Cadillac limousine.
Ahhh love that y’all had so much fun in Memphis!! Graceland is fantastic isn’t it?! 👌🏼 ohhhh what?!? I didn’t know you could be picked up in a PINK CADILLAC limo!?!? That sounds awesome!! We’ll definitely have to go back & try that experience! Thanks so much for watching & for your awesome comment! 🥰🎉

Hey Matt and Nat! I went to Memphis and stay there for 3 days last week for a job interview. I enjoyed visiting the Bluff City and I went to Mud Island, Big River Crossing, Beale Street, Sun Studio, Stax Museum, Mighty Lights on the Mississippi River, Bass Pro Shop Pyramid, and the Lorraine Motel at the Civil Rights museum. I also taste the pulled pork sandwich from Central BBQ and the chicken from Gus World Fried Chicken. Memphis is a laid-back city, and it was definitely worth the 14-hour drive from where I live in Virginia!
This was really fun. I was in Memphis over 40 yrs ago. Ducks had a day off at the Peabody. Would love to visit Memphis again! Thanks so much for the great vlog. Love you two!! 🤗❤️❤️

They live in Nashville. I thought of paying Memphis a visit as well since I am a big Fan of Elvis Presley, Rock n Roll and Blues Music, but I am not sure anymore :(
The backbeat tour trolley, you do have to pay for! But honestly it’s so worth it, if you love music! It was so cool actually hearing the music & seeing the places & hearing the stories behind them! 👌🏼
Try not to get shot at in this city, The fools over there will shoot at you for the fun of it, interstate , in town, at the grocery store, you may want a sidearm,

We have just found you’re channel in the last few months and ABSOLUTELY love watching you both.
One criticism Nat is the gum you have most videos. It’s almost like a ‘beacon’ that your eyes are drawn to. Sorry , please don’t take offence, just a friendly suggestion when you’re on camera☺️
🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🤣🤣🤣🤣 my mom gets onto me about it all the time! It’s my bad habit! I know! 😭🤣🙈 I’m a work in progress! Lol 😜 So, you’ll have to let me know if I get better! Hahaha
So happy y’all have found our channel! We love having y’all on this adventure with us!! 🎉🎉🎉 Thanks for watching & for your kind comment! 💗🥰
@@AdventuresofMattandNat we’re probably the same age or older than your parents, must be a generational thing lol.
If you ever come to Australia, we would be more than happy to show you around Victoria.

How much does it cost to go up into top of pyramid
I believe it was $8, but I would check their website to be sure. Thanks for watching!
I'm with Nat I'm not that big on heights
Glad I’m not alone!🙈
The City has such a bad reputation (in Germany at least) as being one of the.. if not.. THE most dangerous City in the united states!? I have the Chance to visit friends in Tennesse. They live in Nashville. I thought of paying Memphis a visit as well since I am a big Fan of Elvis Presley, Rock n Roll and Blues Music, but I am not sure anymore :(
hey do u gotta pay for the trolly ride
The backbeat tour trolley, you do have to pay for! But honestly it’s so worth it, if you love music! It was so cool actually hearing the music & seeing the places & hearing the stories behind them! 👌🏼

No.1 is avoid being a victim of a crime.😊
Then we succeeded!👍🏼
Try not to get shot at in this city,
The fools over there will shoot at you for the fun of it, interstate , in town, at the grocery store, you may want a sidearm,
No civil rights museum? No Lorraine motel where mlk was killed?
We actually did that on our first trip to Memphis! At that time we only had a blog but we definitely recommend to the civil rights museum. One of the best & touching museums we’ve been to yet. 💗 Thanks for watching!
You two could make any place look Fun to visit But ,,,,,,,,,, if you live here , you know to keep your eyes rotating 360 degrees !! Just getting real , be very careful!
Memphis is a fun city, but for sure... You've gotta be safe. As much as we travel, we know to keep our heads on swivels anywhere we go... Some destinations just require it more than others. Lol... Thanks so much for watching!
