Lived here my whole life and never knew that was there and made lots of trips through Coffeeville. Go Dave get that fire built never give up. I live close to Tensaw river and it is high right now so my boat is just sitting in the shed with dust on it. As always a great video. Stay safe and God bless
Hey Dave... you might have done better with that fire by rubbing 2 sticks together LOL. Love the blaster... that really worked good! Love your travels!
Thanks for the video guys! I needed a laugh and wow did Dave give me one. Looks like a nice spot to relax and sounds like the camp hosts really keep up on things.
@@WattsOnWheels absolutely!! I was watching one of the older “Suite Travels” episodes where the interviewed a guy that put a large fresh water and black water tanks in the HDT.. so he could go back and forth easier for refreshing tanks than pulling up camp. Those HDTs make life better!
I bought a Dodge D Ram 50 pickup one time. I'm 6' 4" and 250 lbs. My oldest daughter who has a quick mind and a mouth to match, commented. "Dad it looks like you are wearing that pickup, not driving it.! I can see that with Zippy!
Ah, the old power bellows. My torch and leaf blower are always on hand for a fire. Crazy that it was closed and they still let you stay. Would've been a nice quiet stay
I stayed at a Army Corp of Engineer Camp ground North East of Nashville, TN. Spent 2 weeks there. They are strict on the noise. They warned some campers on the loud music and they didn't heed the warning. 2 Hours later they were gone.
Have never witnessed that at any USACE campgrounds we've been at. I guess that's good and bad. Depends on if you are the one listening to the music or if you are then one wanting to have peace and quiet. They do have quiet hours.
I'm buying a old Atlas moving semi trailer turned into a full self contained RV and you can put a full size vehicle in the back the only problem is will some RV park won't allow it but truck stop and rest area it's fine any information on we're to park would be appreciated thank you happy Easter ✝️❤️
@@jimandsniffers9408 Happy Easter. You might want to call in advance and maybe send a pic. We do that a lot to see if they can accommodate our size since we are so long. Sometimes we have to park the truck elsewhere. Hasn't really been a problem. Many US Army Corp of Eng parks have long sights.
With all that effort on Dave's part for the fire Definitely a 12 pack 4 shot's of whiskey and a 20 minute back scratch 😉 You folks are great hope to run into you one day..
Harbor Freight Chain saw. Little 110 saw saves arms and legs. Dave you worked to hard.😜🥰🤣. Where is a link to find Army Corp parks. PGE has parks in california also that they maintain.
I could tell you were there in December because the camp host had their Christmas decorations out when you drove in. So are y’all looking for a home base ?
what an awesome Campground!! We really enjoyed our time in Alabama....we will have to keep note of this one!!
There are a lot of Army Corp of Eng campgrounds in Alabama. We plan to explore there some more.
Very nice park. Looks peaceful. Great pictures
Thanks Neisha.
I laughed out loud so hard when I watched Zippy pulling wood!!
👍🤣
We still laugh too. 🤣
Watts On Wheels 🤣👍
Dave building the fire, gave me a good belly laugh and brought back so many memories!
I think he was bored with nothing to fix.
Nice Relaxed time.....

Glad you enjoyed it. Dave never gives up and a green wood wasn't going to beat him.
You guys are so funny. Looks like a nice fire.
Took a while, but got a good one going.
What a buietiful looking place.
So peacefull. We were really lucky they let us stay.
These are sweet spots!! Worth the money for sure!! These pictures are Incredible!! They would have to live me out of there
They are! If I could put a mailbox out front, I'd live there.

Good job on the campfire Dave
Thanks. Most I've ever worked for one. :)
Great review. Being alone was kind of apocalyptic.
Thanks. It was definitely different, but still had a great time.
been waiting all week i thought you got lost thanks for posting be safe
Awe thanks Jack. Video about every 5 days. :-)
I WA just there but had to leave due to possibility flooding. Great park!
Tha't too bad. Kinda crazy to have a campground that will flood every year, which means maintenance every time it happens.
🤣 Dave is fun... thanks for the laugh...luv it!

Hello from Sniffers and I hope your all doing well some beautiful veiws was it kinda spooky being there by yourself ✝️🇺🇸
Thanks for watching Sniffers. No, it was very peaceful. We chatted with the hosts most every day and spent an evening at their fire pit one night.

Just keeping our eyes open for anything that screams "this is it!" For now we are going to remodel our houseboat.
@@WattsOnWheels Thanks ;Stay safe and happy travels.
At 5:24 was Dave cutting down the fence? lol
LOL! Man must build fire for woman....even if it's a fence. :)
@@WattsOnWheels LMAO.....you go human man, you build fire for yo woman. :)
@@WattsOnWheels btw my name is Steve.
I will always carry straps, an electric saw and a blower.... from this point on.. :)
Survival tools! 😁💪
So Dave uses Zippy as a lumbar forwarder.
Yep. If only Zippy could cut the wood too. :)
@@WattsOnWheels Change out of the wheels for a circular saw blade.
YUP.............he lost it.............poor Zippy ;(
I should have broke something so he'd something to fix instead.
curious how early did you make reservation? and my brother and sister in law are camp hosts, have you ever considered being one?
I try to make them 4 to 6 months ahead due to our length and wanting a good view of the water.
We might try hosting in the future. Something to consider.
Hello guys
Hey Ronnie. Thanks for watching another one of our videos.
:-) I Man! Man make Fire
Grrrrr! Me make fire!
Hi
Hi Gwen. thanks for watching.
10 foot flooding yeah that’s a great spot to build...not. But great you got the whole place to yourself.
Isn't that crazy. You'd think they'd have to renovate the whole darn thing every year.
Hi. Just saying.
Hi guys. Hope you're doing well.
Nice only 1 beer rating this time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not much going on ,Nice fire through
What? At least 6 for all the trouble finding wood.
Ok it’s official Karen take Dave’s lawn equipment away from him Lol
🤣🤣🤣
