nice Pentax reviews... I have the K50 but someday I hope to upgrade to a K70 with this lens. Also looking to get some f/2.8 zooms by Sigma or Tamron, as well as a fast prime in the 85mm range. Right now I have the 18-55 and 50-200 kit lenses as well as the f/1.8 50mm prime. One question, will the lens hood go onto this lens backwards for when you store it in your camera bag? Thanks again for the videos, keep shining, Isaiah
Is this really sharper than the 18-55 kit lens? There is also the 18-50 collapsible kit lens. Wondering whether it's worth spending any money on these lenses considering I already have two of the 18-55s and the 50-200.
@@leehaze1 Thanks.. I looked it up and that indeed seems to be the consensus. Just bought one last night - shipping from Japan for $50! 😁 Can't wait for it to arrive. I do need a WR zoom lens for my K200D.
These cameras are similar in many ways. I would go with the K70 simply because you get about 20% more megapixels in case you have to crop in post. Happy shooting.
I would suggest k-s2 if you are tight on budget as image quality would be not much different. and importantly you can save more on lenses which you will nee later..
short answer yes Pentax only. long answer unless you have an adapter which would make it manual focus and you can't control the aperture. thanks for watching
hey how's it going? started this year myself. but with a canon m50 for yt mostly but I do go out and take a lot of shots! what camera did you start with?
Ordered the Pentax k-70 with the 18-135 today. Read a lot of reviews, seems a great set to restart again. Hope I'll receive them soon. Can't wait.
@@Jo_Bevan And, happy with it? I have it 2 months now, very happy with quality. Bought the F50 1.8 to accomplish it.
I got this lens for my K~5 and recently uprgraded to K~3 ii.... the image stabilizer combines to make great photos. Thanks for the review.
Need to add more details about the actual quality of lens. e.g. edge sharpness, focus speed, smoothness of zoom, etc.
I got this lens together with K-3 II. Great lens. Sharper than Nikon 18-140mm VR lens.
I got s great copy ❤ pentax

DA 16-50mm f2.8, DA 50-135mm f2.8, DA 70-200mm f2.8 which one is better? If you have a limited buying capacity!

Wonderfull pictures indeed. I'm really considering pentax over Canon and Nikon. I'm stuck between the K-s2 and the k70. Any thoughts?

Miss AF speed, sound and accuracy test....
Hi! Can this shoot the moon? What pentax lense for k70 would you advise in shooting the moon? Thanks 😊
Any zoom at 300mm. you will need to crop in with your editor. thanks for watching
Is there infinity focus on 18-135 pentax lens
A very sweet lens for fungus
I can only use this lens for Pentax camera and not other brands, correct? sorry I am new to photography
