- Well as is bound to happen, to those of us who are simultaneously attempting to radically change our health AND build a RUclips channel, I have come to a crossroad. As I stood in front of my refrigerator last night I contemplated just chucking the whole Carnivore/RUclips effort into the proverbial abyss. I just wanted to crawl into a hole and disappear for a while.
I obviously have not.

The bottom line is, I have found more reasons to continue on Carnivore, by far, and this journey with the Carnivore community than to not. To this end I have made this VERY long video as a means by which I might convey some of the thoughts which have been rattling around in my head. I trust this rant of sorts doesn't cause any thing more than for each of us to consider what is important in our lives, and what isn't.
With all this in mind I hope, and yes I pray as well, each of you know how much you mean to each one of us in this community! There are so many great RUclips channels, with so many fantastic hosts, and I count each of you as being not only subscribers, but as friends.
For those of you who have your own channels, Thank You for all you do. I really do appreciate the level of effort it takes to be a content creator. I love having a place to go to learn different ways to approach challenges, and how you present your message of not only success, but how you care about those who follow you. I am looking at you @Homesteadhow @IntentionalCarnivore @CarnivoreKipp
For those who haven't moved into creating a channel, you will never really know how much you are appreciated and valued. You are not just a subscriber, not just a number, but a highly valued member of a family. A family which is growing day by day at that. A family that cares, shares, and lifts one another.
For many this Carnivore Family may be the only family they have. It may be the people in a family that genuinely care about our successes, and when we are in a valley, care about our continuing on. Oh our pushing forward to what has become a common goal. A goal worth fighting for and very much worth the effort.
For those of you who have been on this journey for a length of time, who have climbed to the peaks, and yes been through the dark valley's, Thank You for sharing your stories. Thank you for looking back at the trail less traveled. Thank you for reaching back to help another on that trail.
For those of us who are on this journey, maybe on day 1 or on day 57 as for me, let us keep our gaze firmly fixed on our WHY. Let us see the trail blazed by those who have gone before us. May we never be so proud as to refuse a hand up, nor so oblivious as to not offer to help others on this journey.
Regardless of where we are, no matter where we have come from, we each are in the battle of our lives. The struggle is real, it hurts, and we are often by ourselves and afraid. However, it is imperative that we remember we are NOT alone. There is an army of people who are not only willing, but eager to come alongside of you you. Hold tight to your WHY and know FAMILY is nearby.
For my Carnivore Family, I am deeply indebted to each one of you. My life is getting better each and every day because of you. For this I am eternally grateful.

Much love, Scott! You are reaching people that only you can! Keep up the great work, and don't sweat the small stuff. RUclips will do what RUclips does, stay focused on your mission and seek to present things in your own way, and only you can. Even if that means that you are saying the same thing someone else says. The key difference is there are certain people that will resonate only with you. Being monetized would be great for all of us, but at the end of the day, at least for me, I will continue to put videos out to help others. The love and energy in the form of money may or may not come, but I am definitely getting it in many other ways, and I am so grateful for everyone I have met along this journey! My question to you is this...when are you coming to the cookout? We Grillin' Baby!
I caught you in comments during the livestream - since I'm also in Nebraska! And shoutout to @woodster72, who was so amazing and had a drawing for an air fryer - which unbelievably I won! I enjoyed a ribeye prepared in the air fryer last night - and it was terrific! I'm reminded of coaching I received some decades ago . . . people go through life preparing to live, when they have enough money or when they retire, or when something else happens. But life is brushing your teeth in the morning, washing the dishes, doing the laundry, weeding the garden - all the little things that are necessary to be a good steward of those things you've already received in your life. Like you said - take care of the little things, and the big things will take care of themselves! May God bless you, sir!
I live in Alabama now, but did live for 15 years in Bellevue NE. I am retired Air Force and Offutt was my last duty station.
Awesome video Scott! You hit the nail on the head. Its all worth it and you are part of all of this. You are helping other change their lives by being on RUclips. If everyone gave up....what would happen? The same thoughts have been through my mind as well but I decided I will do what I can, when I can. Its hard because it feels like I have gained a huge new family on RUclips but I personally just cant give them the same time and attention as our families/friends/jobs. I dont necessarily beleive in balance but....the time we do put into all of this should be focused and intentional so that we can reach as many as possible and be there for them when they need others the most. Its not always easy but its possible with a community around you. Great message, thank you!

Thanks for the shout out, Scott! I feel like we are all in this together. I appreciate so much the space you make for us on so many evenings where we can fellowship, share victories and concerns. I absolutely feel like the Lord sees our efforts and it is up to Him how this RUclips thing plays out. We do our part but the results are up to Him. I am so excited by this grassroots effort and just want to tell my story and hear others... real people, not people who are in it for the money, who have already arrived or have a coaching business, etc and HAVE to put out content and sometimes make questionable click bait. Let's enjoy the days and the journey! Keep it real, keep it honoring to God, and keep caring for each other. The accountability means so much to me.

❤What you don’t know is that my original plan was to wait until Sunday and title it Sunday Shoutout! But, I felt in my spirit I needed to post it immediately, which I did. Now, I know why.
Yeah, buddy.. I would love to put out some Carnivore or maybe cycling videos on youtube.. but it’s more work that I want to do.. shooting the video is one thing.. but editing it to make it look good, adding graphics, voice over, etc etc.. nah.. I pass. I prefer watching other people’s stuff and commenting where I may have something useful to add. Good job!
