- Two questions I get the most are, "how to pray?", and, "how do I get closer to God?": The first is the answer to the second, but often our prayer can get a little stale and/or we were never taught how to pray - deeper. This is a short guide of thoughts and techniques that have helped me pray deeper, better, and from the heart.

The ego wants to understand God. The heart wants to feel God. ❤
That's incredible.
A righteous person seeks out understanding of God to be more like Him. And feeling and the heart are deceiving and above all, desperately wicked.
I think both fall short of how we should truly be seeking God. We should desire to KNOW God, which is different from understanding. Knowing God is what our hearts should want. We won’t always “feel” God. He should not be boiled down to our human emotion and how we comprehend him, considering He is so much bigger than that.

i loved this take. ive always seeked God and have always appreciated the presence, and this just makes so much sense. ive always had a problem with completely surrendering, after praying today, i realized that i appreciate this method more than any method ive ever tried, i came out feeling as if i meditated, and had a different level of calmness afterwards

Bro, last night (April 6th, 2024), I watched this video because I've been wanting to actually feel like God is with me when I'm praying. So, I watch the video, and when it ended, I immediately try it. Now, it's past midnight, and cuz it was a Saturday I could stay up, but I was getting tired so I tried this praying technique where you are talking WITH God, and not TO God. So, after the deep breath step, I was relaxed, and just praying about what I'm sorry for. When I was in deep prayer, I felt a tight squeeze on my arm. I said "Lord, if that's you, please stop squeezing me." 5 seconds later, the squeezing stopped. Then, I said, "Lord, if that's you, please squeeze me again." 5 seconds later, the squeezing on my arm happened again. In the same place. God was with me. That's all I wanted. I'm 14 years old and I just experienced THE LORD HIMSELF squeeze my arm. I felt amazed. I just wanna say thank you, IMBeggar, for this amazing video. You just beautifully impacted my catholic life.

@@X5stacy Yo bro. God will fix everything if you trust in him. Now I don't know what addiction or paranoia is like, but if you surrender to the Lord, he will fix everything. Try going to church every Sunday and pray every day and don't give up...pray 10 minutes a day, God doesn't care as long as you pray, it's always enough for him if you put him first in your life, meaning spend time with him. God knows who you are and he will never leave your side. Follow God and do good, do not sin. He will help you fix things if you also help. Good luck with destroying your addiction...and I'm positive your paranoia will go away because God is stronger than those nasty times. I will pray for you brother...don't give up, God will speak to you.
My best friend took his life and I will admit that I had a warning and could’ve done something about it. I want to be cleansed of this issue that’s been killing me spiritually as well as killing my reality, and probably keeping my reality from turning in on itself to become better. Ever since September 10th, 2022, my best friend took his life, and a girl he was crushing on back in high school warned me and she told me that he was having suicidal thoughts and tendencies, such as mixing drugs, he was only 18 too. I know god sees all. I just know this is part of the reason why I’ve locked myself in my own hell that I invited myself into by not having the principle to just be sure he was fine no matter how uncomfortable the question would’ve been for me and him. I went over there to the hotel room he was staying at, and things were cool. I just assumed that he was finally getting his chin up in the face of his issues. And it probably could’ve been stopped by me having the gumption to say something disruptive to the good times we were having, that I so naively took as an indicator of his mental state, assuming his mental state was good... On the night it happened, he was urging me to stay longer. We were in a little hotel that reeked of weed and was in the hood before he was supposed to deploy for basic training in the marines, me and him went out earlier and got some booze, and he got really drunk that night. He was trying to get me to stay longer but I was ready to go home and get some rest. I sure hope me leaving didn’t contribute to this feeling of hopelessness, and him thinking that people actually didn’t like him. Because I truly loved him. I just want to pour it out of my heart, and hope god has other ways.
I saw him appear to me in a dream. Well, in 2 dreams. And each one had a message of some sort. The first dream, him and I roamed around my city where we talked about and relived some of our best memories, after he’d have told everyone that he simply faked his death, saying to everyone that he was fine. Well went to the store, talked about the times in which we bought up a bunch of tropical punch to mix with Titos. Then later we went back to that hotel, and he sat me down in the chair he took his life in, and told me that he was really dead after all, and that he only wanted people to not worry about him. Then he vanished, and I was left there alone, in the very same place he died. And all this happened to me while I was only 19, I just turned 21, so it’s been about a year and a half since this horrible event happened. I can feel the vibes he gave me here tonight and it hurts to think about him. Praise Jesus and love god. Be grateful to be here, and alive. Never waste time. Give to others. Live for something bigger than yourself. Seek freedom. My friend was a very free guy. Very wild too. It’s been weighing in on my chest and I just feel this is stuff I need to confess. Congrats if you got this far. May god bless you. You’ve got one beautiful life. Make the most of it.
Just started my walk spiritually, I got Baptized Today, February 11, 2024. I started ACTUALLY reading the Bible and not just scanning through it, I have been suffering through lust and depression and I want to ask God for forgiveness and help and I feel like this video has helped me learn how to talk to God more clearly, and I just wanted to thank you for showing me how to talk WITH God.

@@robertkonczal7406Other than what a book says how do you prove that someone that you can’t see, hear or touch loves you? The early disciples were able to actually experience God in person which no doubt gave them a significantly closer relationship with him. Also, they experienced signs and wonders to back up their faith which we all know doesn’t happen in our modern day.

I look back at the times and I'm grateful, I'm grateful that he gave me a story a testimony of his faithfulness and constant character.
you too will look back and see his faithfulness and consistency & when you do go tell it on the mountain. remember we overcome by the blood and the word of our testimony, don't be afraid to tell the world your story
First I want to congratulate you on your journey! It’s never easy no matter how long you have been walking this path. I remember when I first read Corinthians 10:13 and knew my path had to be with god cause I struggled with the same things you are. I am currently only 13 and previously I was raised without a religion but recently, I'm not sure what brought me to him but I suddenly started to believe in God. I'm not sure what brought me closer to God and Jesus but I am grateful for this happening.

I did this last night while I lay on my back in bed just before sleep. I didn't even bother to assume a posture of prayer. Just started talking to God saying how terribly sorry I was for never being there for him all my life, for being ignorant of him, and for letting my ignorance of him affect how I treated others. I asked him to forgive me and then asked him to bless all the people in my life who were suffering. I cried, a lot. Then I fell asleep.
God is comfortable isn't it? A shapeless mass of pure existence created by the subconscious primal need for reasoning. It fills the cracks in perception and casts a rig on reality, giving birth to law and order, binding the chaos to your will. It hides the pandemonium that is creation, covers your eyes but sometimes you need to look into abbyss, and then it all falls apart.

I do this almost every night, but of course I don't pray abou the same things. It separate things and people that I see happening everyday.

I saw the dark of an attic, the wings of a butterfly, the thing lurking around the corner, the infinite night sky, the split second that decides if the car will swirv a bit to the right and spare her, the miracle of a little thing that just came into being and thinks it's first thoughts. Existance is nor kind nor cruel and the gap between known and unknown inherits that special property.
Wow, I cried 2 times during this video. I'm 16 and I can say I am lost through life. I feel like I have no friends even though I do, I lost my girlfriend but the most important thing I feel like I lost God through what I did. You did a great job reminding me that God loves me. I remember I went through something very similar at your age. Couldn’t really explain it either. It wasn’t until later in life that I realized that “group “ of friends had taken a much different path….. a not so good path. It’s not always easy to listen and to understand Gods ways but I know in my heart of hearts that he loves me/you and wants the best for me. Sometimes we don’t listen and it is during those times that God will get your attention to……slow down…..correct your path…..put things or circumstances in your path that are difficult so we turn back to him to listen. I’m 54 and have learned the hard way that worldly possessions, job titles, etc. don’t compare with Gods love. All those other things can be taken away. His love can’t. I hope this helps you on your journey.
I just finished a session WITH God and not to God. I was feeling so stressed and afraid and I felt like there were demons in the room with me. But after I talked with God, I just felt so good. I felt God’s presence in my room. Thank you so much for helping me to renew my bond with The Lord God and our saviour Jesus Christ. I will now begin reading my bible more and praying more. I have faith in Jesus’ name that we may all grow closer in God and we can cleanse ourselves from evil! Have an incredible week y’all.

It will not be two thousand years before the last days of the end come; They are short, just as Jesus carried out the works during the Age of Grace in Judea. ☀️
This is BECAUSE the LAST DAYS are the CONCLUSION of the ENTIRE TIME. These are the COMPLETE and the END of GOD'S SIX-THOUSAND-YEAR PLAN of GOD'S GOVERNMENT, and these are the END of MANKIND'S LIFE'S JOURNEY of SUFFERING. 🙏
They do NOT bring HUMANITY into the NEW AGE or ALLOW HUMANITY'S LIFE to CONTINUE. 😪
That has NO SIGNIFICANCE for My GOVERNMENT PLAN or for HUMAN EXISTENCE. If HUMANITY CONTINUES like this, then they will EVENTUALLY be SWALLOWED WHOLE by the DEVIL, and the SOULS that BELONG to Me will EVENTUALLY LOSE from its HANDS. 🙏
My WORK will ONLY LAST SIX THOUSAND YEARS, and I PROMISE that EVIL'S HOLD of ALL HUMANITY will NOT LAST MORE than SIX THOUSAND YEARS. 🙏

That PEOPLE will NOT be DAMAGED, INTERRUPTED, or ENCOVERED by SATAN, and they are the ONLY PEOPLE that will REMAIN on EARTH AFTER I have VICTORY AGAINST SATAN. This is the PERSON I have NOW OVERCOME and GOT My PROMISE. 🙏
And THEREFORE, the HUMANITY that is SUBJECTED in the LAST DAYS is also the HUMANITY that WILL be SAVED and will ACHIEVE My ETERNAL BLESSINGS. This WILL be the ONLY PROOF of My VICTORY AGAINST SATAN, and the ONLY SPOILS of My FIGHT against SATAN. The SPOILS of WAR I have SAVED from SATAN'S COVERAGE, and are the ONLY COMPLETEMENT and FRUIT of My SIX-THOUSAND-YEAR REIGN PLAN. 🙏
They CAME from EVERY COUNTRY and DENOMINATION, and EVERY PLACE and TOWN, THROUGHOUT the UNIVERSE. They are of DIFFERENT RACES, DIFFERENT LANGUAGES, CUSTOMS and SKIN COLORS, and they are SCATTERED in ALL COUNTRIES and DENOMINATIONS throughout the WORLD, and be in EVERY CORNER of the WORLD. Soon, they will COME TOGETHER to BUILD the PERFECT humanity, the meeting of HUMANITY that SATAN'S FORCES cannot REACH. ☀️🙏
Those of HUMANITY who are NOT SAVED and SUBJECTED by Me WILL SINK SILENTLY into the DEPTH of the SEA, and be BURNED by My BURNING fire FOREVER. 😪

Who will save My day of wrath, if this is how you treat Me now? WHOSE UNRIGHTEOUSNESS can ESCAPE My EYES of PUNISHMENT? Whose SINS CAN ESCAPE My HANDS. The ALMIGHTY? 🙏
Whose RESISTANCE WILL ESCAPE My JUDGMENT, ALMIGHTY? 🙏
I, JEHOVAH, am SPEAKING to YOU, GENTLE FAMILY TRIBES, and the WORDS that I SPOKE to YOU are MORE than ALL that were SPOKE in the AGE OF LAW and the AGE OF GRACE, but you are more STIFF than ALL those PEOPLE in Egypt. The kingdom He brought down and set up in the highest in the sky so that it can occupy His creation in the universe and engrave on it the entirety of His Holy name "THE CHURCH OF ALMIGHTY GOD" 💐 fulfillment of (Mat. 16:18) "And I say as for you, you are Peter, on top of this rock I will build my Church, that even the power of death will not prevail over it.". ... and "The Letter to the Church in Philadelphia" (Rev. 3:7-13). ... And fulfillment of "The New Jerusalem" 💫 "The Spirit enveloped me, and the angel led me to the top of a very high mountain. He showed Me Jerusalem, the Holy City, coming down from heaven from God." Sometimes growing up in the church is hard because we see things like prayer, worship, singing at church, listening to sermons, communion, and more as just things that we should do, and nothing more. It can be hard to focus in on what they really are and what they really mean, not just what they mean to us but also what they mean to God. The very fact that you clicked on this video shows that you're trying to get closer to God, and I think thats amazing. Its great for your relationship to God, but its also good for mine because you're being inspiring, and a light to people that are in a similar spiritual situation. Sorry to hear that about mom…my parents were the same way some 40 years later I get it why the “Don’t Forget to Pray!” Statement. Your parents are trying to develop a pattern that will benefit you years later. See you that you start running today or you start lifting weights today you don’t see much results but if you continued with those exercises, what do you think it looked like at 21 or 25! pretty well-built the same with prayer. I wish I could be at 15 and really dig into my prayers at that age that be so much better today number two it’s a communication it’s like finding an old friend and talking for hours but you don’t have to pray for hours unless you want to. The thing I’ve realized in building my faith and relationship with God is that it’s more of an awareness and awakening than a religion. Not knowing God is not knowing yourself, not loving God is not loving yourself. I feel that people are intimidated by God because they can’t even begin to fathom how or what he is, but I think that’s the beauty of it all. The creator of all things created YOU! Yes, you! A month ago, Jesus gave me the most precious gift I could ever ask for. It was a vision of himself watching me with his loving eyes on me. He looked over at me from where he was sitting in a chair with the most loving caring smile, like he had always been watching me…even before I came to know him. Even more than fatherly, it was a motherly kind of love, not as if to say “what are you doing today?” but “how are you doing?” He really cared about me like my own mother would, I was surprised to see that kind of love. I knew immediately that’s how he watched everyone, with the care of both a father and a mother. He smiled and without moving his mouth, I heard him say “I will never leave you.”
A few days later, I had two repeated dreams of that vision, and I heard this verse immediately after it both times:

I’ve been praying on the K-love app for deeper faith, and I didn’t even search for this on RUclips, all of a sudden these inspirational faith videos got recommended to me. God heard my prayer! And offered me this video too learn how to get in better touch with him.
When I started the video, I followed along as what he was saying. After I watched the video, I was just there, there in the void. In a few moments prior, I was over-comed by the Presence of God. I was crying tears of peace. I've never felt such a peaceful and loving feeling of God being next to me up until this point. I feel like I've been born again. This truly changed my life. You know because you trust from the bottom of your heart that God is the one true God of all things. It’s not logical. You can logic your way through bits and pieces of the bible and scripture, but it comes down to humbling yourself and admitting that God knows best and you trust that. That’s what feeling the presence of God to me is. That trust within my heart that calms my nerves and leads me on a righteous path.

My point is: it's about what He wants and what He's leading you towards. Don't come to Him for something that He can give you. Come to Him for Himself. You can even ask "Holy Spirit, what would you like us to do? How are You today? What's on Your mind?" You might be surprised that He actually answers those questions :)

I remember one time just babbling during prayer and I felt something telling me to be quiet and be still 😭 God revealed to me that we should pray to actually seek Him not to just get it over with. first time i tried this prayer when i got into bed i was watching yt and i heard a whisper in my right ear from a womans voice. i got freaked out and my right ear lost hearing and my left started ringing and i had a slight headache. yesterday i done it again and when i was thanking god i felt this shock go up my body and i started to feel numb and like my head was spinning. its real. i hope u all have wonderful lives amen
I watched this video and tested it out for myself. Nothing around me. Just me and God. It really worked. I felt his presence within me and talked to him. I never vet to anyone considering I face a lot of issues with my eplipsy. I couldn't afford a shrink nor did i want one so id just keep it to myself. But as i spoke to God at that moment, it felt like for a split moment i might have spoke with him too. I could feel his warm embrace inside of my soul as i finally let it all out. I cried for the first time in a long time letting out all of my pain to him. God loves us. Hes always willing to listen to us. We also have to truly be willing to trust him to talk to him about our life. And to really try to hear his voice talk to us too. Whether fir guidance or for advice or deliverance. God loves you. Hes always with you and he will always be with you 🙏

Using your opening telephone conversation analogy, wouldn't it be great if we could talk to loved ones only with the transmitter and not the receiver? Those one-way conversations are so great!! The "holy spirit" is in us, but it doesn't do conversations. That is just so wonderful!!
I really like the "broken record" analogy. I've used and built off of the same structure ever since I was a little kid. And I really do mean the things I pray about, but I often find myself praying for the exact same things.
I do this as well. I sometimes apologize to God for sounding the same every time I pray.

I used to do that too! But now I start by saying those old statements and then I start to say stuff that comes from my heart. Sometimes it gets a little crazy and I'll say 'you know what I mean.' So try using your broken record as a mantra before going into your real prayer.

I've probably watched this video two dozen times now within the past few months, just trying to study and understand the language of God. It didn't take long for me to hear back from Him, and I felt all the love, peace and forgiveness that I haven't felt in years. I have been a devout Catholic my entire life. I have learned how to pray from the nuns and priests growing up. Never have I felt the ‘true feeling’ of prayer until I listened to this message. I finally felt for the first time in my life that I actually prayed the way I’m supposed to. This is an amazing gift to share with everyone. It is my new way of praying for the rest of my life.

I have been going through a very difficult, heartbreaking, and isolating time in my life. I’ve been through a lot of hardships, but this has been the worst one yet. I’ve been trying to get back into my relationship with the Lord and I feel I can’t do it myself, almost like I need encouragement and guidance from another person to help me get there. You sir, you have opened my eyes up about how to strengthen my relationship with God in a way I had no idea was possible. This has rejuvenated my excitement about prayer and being close with the Lord again, because I’ve needed Him all my life and even now and always will, and the exhaustion and heartbreak I’ve been experiencing the last 5 months has been something I can only get through with God. Yes, presence when praying is so important, before I would just be talking to myself. But when you’re present like there’s another person watching over you, that’s when you’re in God’s presence.
You just made me cry. A lot. I've always been an atheist (though I feel that I'm on a path to become a more spiritual person), I don't believe in an almighty living being or person, but when I watched this video, I did feel something. A presence, like you described. The thought that there is someone watching over you, someone who loves you unconditionally, suddenly became immensely overwhelming. Indeed, this is when the tears started to fall. Though, I have a different definition of God, (I see him as the eternal loving power that binds us and the universe together, a power that is in each and every on of us, as well as everywhere around us) I could still feel him. And I realized that there was only one thing I could do then, you have practically given me the perfect manual! I started praying and cried the whole process through. Thank you for opening that door for me, I am so grateful!

This video appeared in my recommendations and I decided to give it a chance since I felt that talking to God was something that could do me a lot of good to begin to heal as a person. For the first time in my life I simply stayed silent, dark and motionless. Something like that had never been possible for me, whenever I was in the dark and in silence it scared me, but I was able to do it and by following the steps I clarified my emotions.
For the first time in my life I felt like a drop of light in the middle of a dark and infinite void, but I didn't feel alone even for a moment; I don't know whether to say that I felt accompanied by God or it was simply because my inner voice was telling God what I felt I should tell him. I spent 24 minutes just talking to him and feeling a weight leave me.
By the time I said goodbye and opened my eyes I didn't even remember where I was, it was as if my consciousness had gone to another plane and although I could hear the noises around me, my brain didn't process anything, it only focused on talking to God. It was an incredible experience and I am very grateful for having seen this video and trying it.

Wow this is really good. I remember when my Pastor taught us how to pray. Two of things you missed was when getting into posture which I agree is very important, to always Worship Him first, Acknowledge WHO HE is before anything because you are coming into the presence of a HOLY and LIVING GOD so to Seek Him first to accept and recognize who HE is. And everything you said was good and then also allow God to speak back so before rushing off and ending your prayer, sit and LISTEN to what He may say. Listen to the still small voice or He may direct you to His word and speak there. I use to always say what I had to say but never gave God time to respond. Now I pray with intentionally to ensure I listen and sometimes I pray with the Word open and always pray the scriptures based on what's going on in you life. Repeat God's word back to Him because He honors His word, it shall not return to Him void so if he promised it, remind Him. That right there is a home runner PRAY HIS WORD. For example God You said according to Isaiah 54:17 You said No Weapon formed against me shall prosper...(speak the whole scripture) then say any weapons of the enemy that are being formed against me in the kingdom of darkness I have the power and the authority in Christ to condemn them by the blood of Jesus Christ I cancel any one speaking negative words and word curses against me and command your mouth to be muted and I take authority of all negative words that they will not take root in my life, I cancel them in the name of Jesus let word curses fall to the ground and I render then null and void .... Pray the Word and watch your life change!
i want to share my experience trying this and i don’t wanna make this sound too good to be true or like as if im lying because im not i genuinely believe in god and once i tried to pray with my heart i felt his presence in my body and my heart. my body felt heavy and my head started to tilt up towards the ceiling and it was so peaceful like as if he was embracing me while i talked with him and after my prayer i saw a light of my speaker turned on but after i noticed it, it turned off. i went to go check it out and it wasn’t plugged in or switched on. god was there with me and resonated with me. all the stress and negativity i felt throughout the entire day yesterday was gone and i felt brand new. maybe you won’t experience something like this maybe you will but i did so for everyone struggling to make a relationship with the lord please keep trying because he loves you he is alive and real.

Day 1: I’ve watched this lesson several times over the last three or four days now and I’ve struggled to focus on it and not be constantly distracted with self-imposed interruptions. Despite (maybe because of) my adult-onset ADD, I’m so drawn to the calm, measured simplicity and gentleness of the narrator’s voice. I’ve cried because my heart hurts so much and I want connection with God, but I feel like I’ve got a target on my back.
I have been the object of Satan and his army for my entire life and the negativity that I’ve experienced is unbelievable. It has damaged my ability to be happy. I live in a hectic mind, unable to focus or get organized and it’s making life awful for me. Just when I tackle a tiny goal, another obstacle rears it’s monstrous head.
I am going to do this simple experiment right now and commit to do it daily for the next seven days.
I’ll let you know how it goes.

I'm Jessie, a 16 year old with a lot of problems. You could guess the problems. I used to not care for connecting with people out there, outside of the house where I could play games and just stay away from it all. I guess you could say I was emo with a few extra steps. I had so many things that made me up, that it actually tore me apart. I didn't like the mere idea of god in that time. To put it simply, we can say a circle represents me. The fact that I didn't like myself, was a needle that added piercing pressure to the center of that circle. The many things that made me up were hands, grabbing the edges of that circle and pulling. The piercing pressure of the needle, combined with those pulling hands, they could pull the circle apart into equal pieces. But they weren't strong enough as themselves to pull the circle apart, so the circle still held up with many cracks from all of the pressure. That, put simply, was me for many years.
Now let's start over, with this cracked circle that represents me. Every time that the pressure points would succeed in making another crack in the circle, I would be easily erupted. I would stop caring of what happened and make a lot of trouble, even hurting other people despite my dislike of seeing pain. I could quickly adapt to having this new crack in me, so I would go on about myself after breakdown. I disliked the idea of god, because I felt that if I had a hand as strong as a religion to grab my circle, and start to pull, I would easily break apart. It was my greatest fear, and I never realized it before right now as I'm writing this comment. However, I had my final breakdown when I got into my first physical fight with my dad. That tore the circle apart, and made room for a new circle.
I love my dad very much, but after that night, I felt I didn't deserve to see such a beautiful face, a father figure like no other to me. Now that I was nothing, and the circle was gone, I finally accepted the idea of God, and began looking into it. (God broke me, so that I could finally find him.) I didn't have the courage to grab a bible and start reading, so I just started trying to say something to this odd, newly found father figure. I didn't feel a sense of evil in any of it, so I decided to trust it and just base all of my learning off of trust and forced belief in Jesus. Together, me and this father figure are building my new circle. God has placed me in my house, alone a lot of the time, for the many past weeks so that I had every last bit of time that I would need to learn all of it. And here I am now, writing this message and thinking so deep that I am finding more and more answers to why all of this is happening.
Thank you god, this has truly been a journey in itself, for I have learned much, and now tomorrow I can test what I have learned as I go fishing with my father. Thank you so much god, for this one long comment has helped me go over the details of what I've learned with you during my time in this house. Just thank you.

When it comes to giving thanks, I was invited once to ONLY give thanks for a solid week. Not asking for anything! And after the first day it became more challenging because I didn't want to keep repeating the same things. But then it opened the door for me to realize all the little things in my day that the Lord has blessed me with and it greatly strengthened my relationship that week with him.

I went through the same thing where if I felt like I messed up on a word I had to repeat and it would make prayer more dreadful for me because I wanted things to be perfect in a sense. I was able to overcome it only through God realizing he doesn’t need us to pray to him perfectly he desires a deep relationship with us where we talk to him. He loves us and wants us to come to him as we are and let his grace and mercy his strength perfect us! A companionship with him and talk like you would to a friend. It gets easier as you go on and understand God’s love for us. I pray he gives you peace and you’re able to overcome the OCD which our God is bigger then. God bless you!

I feel like if I mess up a single word I have to repeat the whole prayer, because if the prayer isn't perfect for some reason I think that God will ignore me or get angry with me.

I used to suffer from OCD and it made prayer more like an exhausting chore or ritual. I want to encourage you that things will definitely get better the more you lean on God and less on yourself. He sees every tear and He understands all our thoughts. I’ll be praying for you❤️
