I was initially unsure how to do this as the anime version of cornered is pretty short, but I ended up just using some other versions of the song to make up.

I'm pretty sure everyone, who watches this video remembers the ending of that game. Sae told Joker, that she wants to become a Defense Attorney. So "Sae Niijima: Ace Attorney" is possible. We just need Atlus and Capcom to cooperate.

I can see it now: Joker is sitting in the jail cell, bloody and broken. One of the guards comes by and knocks on the bars. “Get up, you have a visitor.” A visitor? That’s not possible, the rest of the Phantom Thieves are in hiding, waiting in the wings, so to speak. With a pained grunt and a confused look, Joker gets to his feet as the guard opens the cell door and escorts him to the visitors area. The guard firmly plants Joker in a chair facing a set of translucent glass, a phone hanging from the privacy barrier on either side. “He’ll be here shortly,” the guard says gruffly as he walks away. Moments later, Joker sees two figures walk into the room on the other side of the glass. It’s hard to make out, the pain makes everything difficult, but he can see that they’re talking, and judging by the occasional glances they’re sending his way, they seem to be talking about him. Finally, the man approaches and takes the chair opposite of Joker. He’s young, in his twenties for sure, with black spiky hair and a nice blue suit adorned with an Attorney’s Badge. He seems friendly enough, Joker thinks to himself. The man picks up the phone on his side of the glass. Joker snaps out of his trance and does the same. “Are you [Player Name]-kun?”
“Yes, but, who are you?”
The man smiles with warmth and determination. “I’m Phoenix Wright, and I’m your attorney.”

Nah, I think you have to take down von karma's palace before he wins the case. His palace is 3 different segments: The chemical factory, the boat shop, and lastly, the courthouse. You fight him in a massive elevator. His shadow should be his "tampered with" perfect record, which is weak to gun damage.

The best part is that phoenix wright could technically be a character in a persona game if you REALLY REALLY tried. The whole game is about busting criminals, so it'd be fucking hilarious playing as phoenix wright in some Hot Topic clothes beating up spirits in a metaphorical dungeon for the name of justice.

I think they mean his actual Persona, not his Arcana. I think Athena would be a nice choice, but it doesn't follow the theme they have going, Initial Persona is a rebel from literature or history, Ultimate Persona is a trickster god.
Well for in Persona 3 the general difference between the character's starting and ultimate persona is their standing in mythology. like when a persona based on a building meant as a safeguard turned into Athena. On the other hand, the god Nemesis transforms into a sorcerer who was killed in their original myth so....
4 and 5 stuck pretty well with the whole "start with a semi-minor figure and then use a god" thing

Guys, just imagine this.
Remember how Joker turned himself in so Sae could actually prosecute Shido? Well, what if, during that off-screen trial, Shido's attorney is Phoenix? Imagine it being like the last case of Justice For All, where Phoenix and Edgeworth convinced Matt Engarde to declare himself guilty, but Sae and Shido replacing Edgeworth and Engarde respectively. It could be completely, perfectly canon.

...Imagine in P5: Royal, Phoenix Wright has a case where there is no evidence, no out the box method or any way possible to save an innocent person from being sentencecd. He knows without a shadow of a doubt that the man accusing the victim is behind the actual murder, but he was so thorough that he left no trace behind...but when all hope seems lost, he suddenly hears about this random string of minor crimes...all of which end with the Criminal confessing all of their crimes from beginning to end. Something about ...Theives stealing Hearts? Maybe Maya knows more about it. Maya directs him to the Phantom Thief Afficinado Website, where he can request for a change of heart in the Plaintiff....he knows that it's wrong and not an honest way doing his job, but if it means defending the innocent in the name of *Justice*, he will do just about anything. And with that, the request is made...

Can you imagine it? Joker is on trial and is about to get thrown into prison for a long time and all of a sudden the courtroom doors fly open and it's Mitsuru with the rest of the Anti-Shadow squad. She walks in and claims that Joker did nothing wrong and that he will be under the protection of the Kirijo group. While the courtroom is in an uproar the judge shouts "ORDER IN THE COURT" over and over and Sae finally looks at Joker and says "It's over. I'm sorry.." and then you hear it. One voice above all the shouting and chaos: "OBJECTION!!"

@@kaiarashi5881 Well, the Ace Attorney one lets you unlock "Psyche-Locks" that hide people's secrets. In the Metaverse it might be able to get you in to hard to reach places.

So many people talking about Phantom Thieves in Ace Attorney, and I can't find anybody talking about Kay Faraday. :(

Young Ms. Faraday is an imaginative girl with a good moral compass and a desire to live up to her father's legacy. She "roleplays her way through life," so-to-speak. YMMV on how mature that makes her, but when she loses that spark in her life in game 2 from a head injury, it... really sucks.

I think you got a little carried away at the end, but otherwise this is very good.

ok i've had this thought in mind...this is gonna be long i just wanna spill my big fanfic thought.........
ace attorney+persona 5 crossover au where Joker goes to court instead of getting shot by Akechi, Sae was going to be the prosecutor, but let Edgeworth take her place since now she has a bit of a bias. Phoenix gets the call and gets to get all the details at the detention center, and Joker mentions the basics, personas, the metaverse, the other Phantom Thieves, Akechi and his plan and whatnot, Phoenix is still in awe of the whole metaverse stuff and Joker says he would show him if he had his phone, but it's being investigated to look at the messages, and one of the other Phantom Thieves could show him in court. court time the next day, Akechi is the detective, Phoenix has a little "wait a minute what the fuck" thought. that testimony goes on with a _lot_ of questions and some contradictions, since Akechi counted as a witness himself, making this no easier. to get more information and learn about this metaverse thing, Joker gets called to the stand, to which more questions arise and it's not looking too good, then the whole metaverse thing. Joker requests one of the others to come to the stand to summon the palace, since that's what they had planned without anyone else knowing, Makoto gets called to the stand, (because everyone agreed she's the most professional,) after the introduction she takes her phone out and says all the mumbo jumbo and now the whole courtroom is in Edgeworth's palace. cue this song. everyone freaks the fuck out. also Morgana is now very visible, he was hiding in Ann's purse, keeping quiet. after Makoto explains some stuff about the metaverse and Morgana, Edgeworth is left speechless. especially seeing as he has this palace thing which Makoto explained.
i haven't thought much past that, but the "one with the black mask" gets mentioned, during investigation in the metaverse Athena expresses how she wants cool powers too like how Trucy can do magic but Apollo and Phoenix are not gonna let her get a persona, Sae testifies in defense of Joker, Akechi feels heckin betrayed, as things go on Akechi motherfucking snaps and his Pitbull looking ass father gets involved and they both get cucked

( spoiler warning I guess because i'm referencing some things from the games so yeah you've been warned)
Joker joins everyone as a defense attorney for a couple of cases until the last one where Joker is frame for a murder he didn't commit it has ups and downs ( plus hearing that there's these "Phantom thieves" sends a shiver down Phoenix and everyone spines since they already dealed with a person with "Phantom" in their name before.) then the everyone figures out that there in the culprits palace that is shaped like the courtroom
( you know how other characters have a reveal of their true self before having their real self breakdown?) Well even know Joker is innocent in this case he goes to his show his real self which then he reappears on the witness stand with his Phantom Thief costume on, using the moon Matrix they find out the Discord in Joker's heart and and it leads to a akechi who is somehow still alive after shidos Palace and you probably know what happens after that.
And just don't mind this I was bored there's nothing really special to this
I need to say that I would listen to this song on repeat _if Life Will Change was pitched up to fit the modulation in Cornered_
Ngl this would make one of the coolest crossovers ever
